My GPSr never settled down at this location so I ended up trying a few spots. It turned out that I had looked at the correct one early on but not carefully enough. A second check was more thorough and produced a positive result.
In Picton today picking up people at the ferry so arrived early and had time to do some Geocaching TFTC
help us!Finally found one before the father or son . Clearly their eyes have been faster than mine. Tftc!!

A steep walk up the track but sadly the trees have all grown and the view is a bit obscured. Nice quick find.
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Signapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. Yesterday we drove from Greymouth to Picton. This afternoon we take the water taxi to Portage. So this morning we have plenty of time for another nice stroll in Picton for some sightseeing and of course geocaching. The weather is quite nice and we are really enjoying ourself. On our walk we also visited this cache. The nice hide was quiclly discovered and the cache was logged without any problem. Thank you very much for this cache.
During our two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, we arrived in Picton yesterday. We returned our rental car and took the water taxi to the Portage in Marlborough Sounds.Before the water taxi leaves there is some time to visit a few caches. This cache was found.**GH6710**, thanks for the cache.
Headed over to Picton for a long evening of caching around Victoria Domain. Managed 14 finds, 1 DNF, a swim and a few hours of walking. Found this one quickly after admiring the views. PCache all fine. Thanks for the smiley.

I found a paper wasp nest. JD spotted the container . It's the weekend after Christmas So JDScout and I are spending two nights in Picton, followed by three nights in Havelock We stayed in Picton last night..

Had the area to myself, which was nice. Good view point, nice to collect a few of these, had been nearby awhile ago for the TMGT a few years ago. Spotting something out of place, and then had the log in my hands, thanks for the placement. TFTC GH6710, the cache was found in good order

Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 2 find(s) of 5 today, making this find #4458Prickled my fingers on the gorse bits on the ground at the opposite end of the hiding spot. Eventually I looked at the correct height and behind the right bit of hint.
Could not find, despite previous logs saying it was an easy one. Maybe next time!
Spending the weekend in the top of the South, so found a few caches on our wanders.

We are sure there is a view here but this morning it is just white. The fog didn't lift till the afternoon. I found the hide in the first place I looked which was a nice bonus, especially as GAR was looking elsewhere and a bit put out it was such a quick find. Thanks for the hide GH6710! In the area for a couple of days while on a wee road trip holiday.

Wir haben uns hier entsprechend dem Hint umgesehen, konnten aber leider nichts entdecken.
Actually we couldn't find it. I logged the wrong cache. But it was still worth the hike!
Found quickly once the muggles dissipated. It's a wonderful view from up here.
