Still sourcing the cache to suit the new hiding place. Hope this one will be up and running soon.
After a spate of DNFs I will check on this one and if need be get a new cache and hiding spot going.
Nothing here today, had a good look through the bark around GZ then expanded my search to the surrounding structure.
I found this cache lying in the dirt slightly covered by bark so tried to move it to a slightly better spot that still matched the hint. Not sure how long it is going to last on a park like this though, it is very prone to muggle kids at the moment, might need to rethink the hide! I hope I put it back in the right spot.
TFTC regardless

Quick find once I read the hint.
I have two geo-hounds with me this morning and we spent a lovely couple of hours grabbing some caches in this park. Nice spot for a break in the shade. Thanks for the cache, bolshie1.

Tuesday 27 December 2016 - a hot humid mid Summer's afternoon outing in the low 30s that finished early evening with a cool breeze and dark threatening storm clouds nearby. Found 7 from 7 caches over 3.5 hrs for approx 6.5kms of brisk walking. Quick and easy find. Thx MuggleHusband. TFTC bolshie1.
My coords seemed somewhat off at GZ but it was a quick find using the helpful hint. TFTC bolshie1
We decided to treat ourselves and take today off work (no more work until next year - yay!) so of course we took the opportunity to find a "few" caches. We loaded up the car with Saf's bike and The Woofer, and arrived at our destination on the dot of 6AM. Over 6 hours later, sore, hot, and with 31 caches found, we decided that might be enough, and headed home to our air-conditioning! We left something small in each one, where possible, and only had 2 DNFs. Not a bad run!
A quick and easy find - TFTC!

Another well hidden cache - found easily with the hint. It wasn't until I had found the cache that I realised the coordinates were not the best.
Thanks

Finally some sunshine in Canberra Decided to grab a couple geocaches today, some in the company of FFLL2 and others were done solo. Main target today was the CITO event, cant turn down the chance for a new souvenir [:o)]
Coordinates had me in a pretty random spot so I resorted to the hint and very quickly had cache in hand, signed and replaced.
Thanks for the cache bolshie1 [^]

5077. Easier to find using the hint rather than the coordinates. glad there were no muggles to content with during my visit.
Thanks bolshie1 for the cache and the fun.

I had trouble with this one, was so close but missed it a few times.
Went with clue and logs. Was the picture of what I needed and posting of correct coordinates that got me on track. One of those, ' its so obvious, Im not really that dumb moments!'
Bag in cache ripped so replaced with a similar spare I had with me.
Glad I didn't give up.

a little wait in the sunshine until the muggles continued on their way. Thank you!

I had to drop son2 in Belconnen for a couple of hours so I used the time to cache (instead of going home and back again). This cache was a quick find. I chose a good time of the day to visit this one - no muggles around. TFTC.

Set out to find a couple of geocaches today. After arriving at GZ we made a quick find, signed log and replaced. Thanks for the cache bolshie1.
Such a quiet & sheltered spot this sunny afternoon - where are the muggles ? TFTC
Hmm ... thought this might be in the same spot as the other one ... until I got here and my phone said to go to a different spot - lol
I also thought it might be a similar hide, but it is quite different (which added to the fun - it really was a different cache, not just re-finding one I had found ... which was quite nice - because I had just done that with 2 other caches on my way here - I had found them ages ago, but they were in an area that had just been burnt (a rather intense controlled burn), so I decided to go past and check if they were OK (yes , seeing they were in between my home and this one anyway
TFTC - glad it was dark when dog and I got here (poking around in/near playgrounds is difficult when there are kids playing on them - lol)
Was possibly a bit of a long walk for my 13 year old Golden GeoRetriever, but I had found all the closest to home ones, and wanted to keep my streak going seeing this is now the most consecutive days I have found caches on - a whole 9 days - lol
(my Geocaching is usually rather sporadic

Out with Jac doing some errands and with a bit of spare time today we decided to grab a cache or two.
A quick find and back on our way.
Thanks bolshie 1

After visiting The Fort, I headed back towards this one, only to find a dad and his kids enjoying the area. Decided to see if they were staying for a while when the phone rang.....not mine...the dad's. Seems mum wanted them all home.....so dad rounded the kids up, grabbed their bikes and headed off. So that was my cue to get in and grab the cache...which I found after getting down and dirty. Log was signed and the cache replaced....all in about 1 minute. Did notice the co-ords were out a little, but with a great hint, all was good.
Thanks again bolshie1.......

As usual I wasn't intending to cache, so I don't have s pen. Please accept photo proof instead. Tftc
#4181 - 18:52; I'd booked an extra day's leave following a trip to Tasmania, so dropped Sol de lune a line about heading out to the Captains Flat trail. fitzy_65 had made a similar enquiry, so it was that the three of us found ourselves out for another caching run.
We had completed the Captains Flat trail and collected a couple of other caches before we stopped off for a bite to eat in Bungendore on our way over to the Lake Road to collect the caches along that stretch of road. It was then back to the ACT to pick up where we had left off on the CCT series on our Leap Day run, then on to the Majura Cycleway, again to pick up where we had left off after earlier visits. That part of the mission completed, the others had reached their centuries for the day, but I was still three short.
This was the first of four on a quick solo runwhich saw me end up with a tally of 101 for the day. Whew, made it! I made the find on this cache much harder than it needed to be, but that's a whole other story. TFTC bolshie1

A quick drive by find and sign. Cache seemed to be about 20 metres from the co-ords though.TFTC.
Found with Decrypter. We arrived at a GZ clear of muggles, but our GPSs were both pointing to a clear area. After reading the hint, we decided it could be in one of two spots, more than 10m away; D went one way and I the other. Meanwhile, some muggles arrived, but decided to head to another part of the ground. D soon had CIH. TFTC
Quick find with Trodectus.
Poor coords made up with good hint.
My Etrex 30 had the cache nearly 25 meters out.
Actual coords that agree with Google earth are: S35 12.698 E 149 01.824
Thanks for the cache to bolshie1, but please correct your coords

There are muggles and then there are muggles - met a grannie with her g'son enjoying the area. Had a great chat as I explained to her GCing. She may even become one of us now. Thanks for the cache (again) bolshie 1.
Coords were WAY off for this one. Luckily the hint was good. Also thanks to Goldenwattle for providing better coords. TFTC
10035. Out and about caching on Australia Day.
With most of the day available for caching I started off by doing the Kuringa Drive-By series, then picked up a few other individual caches around Belconnen. I parked in a nearby street and walked over the bridge to a very familiar location. I guess the impending rain kept the muggles away as the area was basically deserted. Found, signed, replaced, and then continued along the path towards The Fort.
Thanks bolshie1 !

I came back to this cache a couple of times to allow minor muggles to disperse.

Fortunately there was a good hint because the coordinates, as others have commented too, are out about 23 metres. My quick coordinates were: S 35° 12.700 E 149° 01.823
I looked at other people's logs and when I read from the comments that the coordinates were wrong, I used the hint. Unfortunately I searched the wrong 'stairs' first, but got there in the end. The coordinates need correction. Put your coordinates in Google maps and you will see they are not at GZ. TFTC bolshie1.

Before heading down the coast again I stopped off here in Latham to get these two new replacement caches. I am glad the clue was good as the co-ordinates had me 25m away. Maybe it was just a temperature thing.
Thanks.

Took HypoHippo with me to act as a decoy and Finder - 100% success rate. Even though he was too big for the slide . Thanks for the cache!
Headed to this one after doing a client close by in the area.
Nice quick one although at GZ there were a couple that needed to get a room, but soon moved on when we turned up.

Hmmm - not a fan of playground caches... Single men hanging around playgrounds is not a good look! And besides that, they are often muggled by those pesky kids that play there! Anyways, no one here this morning, so a quick find (thanks to clue - co-ords about 20m out). Thanks B1.
*FTF* @ 2020 Thank gosh for the hint as I am pretty sure the coordinates are out by 20m . Nice little area, TFTC
