I cant make it for the Mega so have come down for a few days to clear a bit if the map. TFTC
Made the quick climb to collect this one. Lid of the cache has a few issues.
A big weekend away down to the south east of the state, the major focus was to par take in the 100mile (160km) cycle classic around mount gambier on the Saturday. Along he way as always there and back I collected a few caches (near 100 on my round trip)
Thanks for the cache and its placement.

We had a great laugh at this one with Geodad trying to help geomum to get this cache. TFTC
It took a minute of two of looking up before we saw the Pinus Ridiculatus. Then it was out with the telescopic ladder to access the well presented the cache and sign the log. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Kookacrew for the cache.
Found by The Marathon Man and pnutbeagle on our 3-month Australia holiday after travelling from snowy and cold Northern Ontario Canada.
Finally found some time to get caught up in my logs

Now in South Australia after visiting Victoria
Great cache - a favourite
After I could not spot it, pnutbeagle spotted it - it was may duty to do the climbing and sign the log

A quick stop to stretch our legs after enjoying a weekend with friends down the mount, quickly spotted not so quickly extracted but signed the log in the end

Had a day of Mount Gambier sinkhole scuba diving and driving back home to Adelaide via Millicent and TeamAstro's Jupiter geocache.
After my DNF at this one a month or so ago in the dark, I thought I would stop at this one to address this error of my ways. Thankfully with the CO’s message at what to expect, I saw the cache quickly from the ground. My attire wasn’t exactly prepared as I was still in thongs from a previous geocache, but I went up nevertheless. Signed the log and replaced, and yep as Tardis mentions, take tweezers up whilst climbing. Thanks for this little adventure!

Mr Tardis was on a caching weekend trip down to the South East. I stopped here to stretch my legs and find a cache. I spotted the cache before I got out of the car - don't you just love it when that happens? Up to get cache, down to get tweezers, back up to sign log. Would be a bit of a challenge if there were muggles parked close by.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Kookacrew.

Cache had wandered a little, now has been located back to its true location. Happy hunting
Was driving from Adelaide to Mount Gambier and had called past here in the dark. I saw past logs that they had seen the cache upon approach, but even though I had a pretty strong torch, I searched around ground level around the trees for something without luck, and scanned along the tree tops. So a DNF for me - probably still here, and the night likely had me miss it, cheers.

Our last day in SA for this trip, we followed a course set by Suscoe, to catch up with as many jointly unfound caches as possible, before retreating back east across the border tomorrow.
Great spot for a cuppa after adding our name to the log, awarded this one a FP for it's fun theme.
Thanks 'Kookacrew' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Suscoe and Phetlern headed out early today to the crunch of frost everywhere we looked.
A sunny day followed and we enjoyed the wandering around the north west of Millicent.
Some controlled burns further to the north east later in the morning provided a brown cloud streaming to the west and occasionally dropping ash on us as we crossed the farmlands.
This was our last day of caching in this area before heading homewards.
Thanks to Kookacrew for this clever hide, a favourite from us.
Time for a cuppa with a carpet of pink surrounding us here and bees in the trees.

Day 1: Visiting my family at Millicent and grabbing smilies along the way. Knew what to look for, seen similar concepts elsewhere, even been making a few of these types of hides myself
Hoisted myself up and did the signing duty.

Went for a drive this afternoon to get a few more caches before going home tomorrow. [^]
Ridiculatus, certainly didn't expect to see that here.
Then of course I had the problem of how to get to the cache. [?] Luckily I had my geocaching box in the car and that was just what I needed.
Thanks for another great cache Kookacrew.

We have based ourselves in Millicent and have ventured out to as many surrounding areas as possible in a day to go sight seeing and caching. This was one we targetted and found. Thanks to Kookacrew for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Millicent Day2
We have set up camp in a wonderful park that is situated beside the lakeside pool.
We headed out into the farming community, finding caches along the way.
Some great hides & inventive containers.

Found yesterday with caching buddy, Leckermann. We too loved the chuckle when we found it - thanks so much. Ridiculous indeed!
He!He! Now that's pinus ridiculous! Like this cache, will give you a favourite point for the chuckle! Thanks for the cache and for it not being what I expected.
On a road trip from the ACT thru northern Victoria, to South Australia then back through Victoria (great Ocean road) and caching along the way. Whatever cache we happened to pass and I was in the mood we stopped to find and log. Some easier some harder:-) TFTC
Clever tiny hide, certainly the odd one out:-)

We were now on our way back to Adelaide, a trip that started in a way several hours ago. Only turned into a 13 hour trip. Sir Spectre did the hard yards, mogni and I had the tool and thus teamwork found this good cache. Thanks Kookacrew.
Out on a Sunday adventure with Aussie M & M and Sir Spectre making our way to Adelaide. This trip took about 13 hours.... I am sure Adelaide is usually not that far away.
Thanks for all the distractions. A very clever hide.

Day 11 on the road for me. On the return from the mega event in Victoria. Found with fellow cachers on the return to adelaide. Cache was easily spotted hanging around. Easily got up there but had to get a geo tool from the ladies to get the log out. 3 more names added.
Found today with FerociousFlea and Medusa57 on our Fantastic Furner Fun Caching Day.
Managed to find 41 caches with 7 DNF's... and two snakes!!
Thanks to all the CO's who have placed caches in the area.

Hahaha - liked the name!
I climbed the ladder here to retrieve the cache. Nice container despite it being a pain to retrieve the log.
Talk about déjà vu ..... this is the second weekend in a row that I have been on a girls caching road trip with Locus Cache to Victoria. This time however it was a fabulous 4 day jaunt AND we may have even brought back a lovely Victorian fella with us (micaparamedic).....ALWAYS an enjoyable time when we hang out!
Kaye and I travelled from Adelaide to the beautiful Warrnambool area to attend a Friday night picnic in the park event and then on Saturday we enjoyed a yummy BBQ lunch at the 1 month to the Surf Coast Mega Event. Bendigo was our next overnight stop and then we headed home....which only took us 15 HOURS!! haha It wasn't the Little Desert National Park we got lost in this weekend, it was Murray Sunset National Park...LOL - but we did get a joint first to find which made the detour all worth it....who needs to get 8hours sleep before needing to be at work the next day anyway??
We targeted a number of caches over the weekend, including some oldies of Alex...very cool finding original ammo cans in the bush and some to help out the D/T grid!
Once again the conversations were highly amusing and we enjoyed lots of belly laughter!! haha [:o)]
We saw kangaroos, emus, lots of birds and a whole heap of water due to recent heavy rains.
GEOCACHING ROCKS!!! [:X]

Day 1 of the girls' road trip to Warrnambool, which then extended out to Bendigo on day 3. On day 4 we picked up another passenger for Harry as the new passenger needed a lift to Adelaide.
Today we drove from Adelaide to Warrnambool, arriving in time to attend the Sunset Picnic Event - Tower Hill [^]
The day was mainly spent driving as it takes a tad longer when the Hary Factor comes into play
Some older caches were targeted and some great views were seen as a result! [^]
No DNFs [^], 1 event attended in an amzingly gorgeous location and 19 caches found today
A quick find but a not so quick retrieval as neither of us make good koalas
Out with the magic geo tool and then GoodLook made the retrieval
Laughed at the name of this cache.... highly appropriate! [^]

Cache situated in a very nice parking bay, no rubbish scattered around. Good co-ordinates led us to the spot and I quickly spotted something ridiculous. Thanks for the cache Kookacrew.
Day four and our last day in the lower South East region.
hevwalker did the honours and soon had the cache in hand.
The clue came in handy too, thanks Kookacrew
