Time to go, not performing as intended, the container keeps moving around and is not being replaced correctly.

**# 14218** Found on our 2016 winter escape trek.
A warm afternoon for a drive around some wet northern Bris suburbs. Wink
A good find and not many muggles around here today.
Log sheet is very wet. I added a new piece of dry paper as a temporary log.
Thanks for the cache Orange Crew,

**Smilie #3829**

After a bit of a slow (& late) start to today we decided to pick the pace up a bit & round up a few smilies.
Where to go?
Hmmm?
There are still quite a few we haven't looked at on the north side.
Done deal, we're headed north! Smile

Found the back way in & pulled up a short 7 metres from GZ!
A quick lap of the area soon had the cache in hand.
Sneaky!
But not quite sneaky enough. Smile
All good with the cache.

I am heading south to Brissy today and I have time for plenty of geocaching on the way. Cool
It rained a little earlier in the day but most things are now dry. Smile
I parked over the road and walked across. A little busy today.
Good thing I only had a short search for this one and the log book is dry. [^]
Thanks for the cache.

Found at 1048. Had to search a bit for this one. Marg found it in the end. TFTC.

Out collecting a few smilies with Nurseyjulie. We had time for one more cache. We found the entrance and drove to GZ. Once there, my phone decided that it didnt want to meet "Tall Dark and Handsome" and was sending me off in another direction. I wanted to meet "Tall Dark and Handsome", so ignored my phone and went to introduce myself. I circled, eyes gazing up and down. Interesting. NurseyJulie got a little more intimate and soon slid the cache from its hiding spot. We added our names to the log and carefully slid the cache back into place before heading back to the car. TFTC

We managed to find the turn off here and the trail soon opened out to larger area - wonder what this is all about. So we saw tall dark handsome and introduced ourselves. We circled and circles and checked alot of niches but that did not take too long to discover the container. TFTC Orange Crew

Charter boat? What Charter Boat? Razz Having read the description properly AFTER I parked the car, we missed the track completely and ended up doing a short bush bash to reach the aforementioned track and then gz Red Face With teen geodaughter complaining loudly about the dirt, spiderwebs, bugs, muggles and OMG the bugs ( *stortimum polishes mother of the year trophy*Razz ) I searched what I thought had to be the inspiration for the cache name and was rewarded with a container and log to sign. All was replaced as found and the teenager was treated to another round of dirt, webs, bugs and muggles on the way back to the car. Tftc Orange Crew Big Grin

This was my second attempt at this hide. As I neared gz, I had to wait for local wildlife to clear out. While walking toward gz I noticed difficulty level was dumbed down more to my level [8)]. I scrabbled around for a short bit and then stumbled upon the little container. So this was what all the drama was about? I am curious about where it was prior to its revised location. Signed a slightly tattered but otherwise intact log. I replaced container to its well-concealed location. Now onto some other Orange Crew hides that need my attention. Thanks OC.

Need to rethink this one, seems to be exposed too often. Either the camo isn't right or its not getting replaced as found

After a bit of caching on Mt Beerwah and some lunch at the Beerwah pub we dropped in and grabbed this one on the way home [^]
Interesting hide [?] Found just sitting completely exposed. Not quite sure if this was were the container was meant to be but I have a feeling it wont last too long [B)]
Cache and log in good condition at the moment [^]

T-Tech, beach.bub23 and I spent the day with teamdfl and Brother Colin taking a walk up Mount Beerwah [^] I have previously climbed it and found the caches up there, so on our way home I was pretty keen to get a find for the day Wink This one looked interesting, so we stopped to visit. However, we came across a bunch of local youngsters riding in the area, and their dad was parked right next to where we wanted to search Sad Seeing as they had seen us coming in, we figured in the interest of good will all around (read: we are not here to throw you out!!!) we let them know what we were up to and had a good chat about our favourite hobby, and then had a chat about their's [^] The lads were pretty keen to see the cache, and I was glad we'd made a quick find. I suspect the camo is missing as the container was in plain sight, so maybe the CO might like to check on it. TFTC, Orange Crew.

After spending the day with IolantheK, T-Tech, Brother Colin and teamdfl climbing Mt Beerwah and getting a few caches, we detoured to this cache on the way home. Whilst IolantheK accompanied us to numerous caches through out the day, they were all ones that she had previously found so this one was so she could get a find for the day!

When we were walking into the area, we noticed there were a father and his kids parked with their dirt bikes right next to GZ! We explained to them what we were doing so they wouldn't think we were crazy (though they probably thought we were crazy) and the kids seemed rather interested. We made a quick find as it was just sitting there rather exposed, and showed the kids what it was and even showed them our map with all the caches nearby! After a good chat with them about caching, and about their dirt biking we replaced the cache as we found it and headed off.

Hopefully i can return here one day and see the cache in its camouflage hidden how the CO had intended it to be! Thanks for the cache Smile

After some well needed catch up on one of my own caches in the general area, I was heading for home with dabom81 and Mini Munchkin. Dabom surprisingly raced from the Troopie hoping to make the find before me. While he headed off not really knowing where he was going, I started a look around GZ. Funnily enough he still managed to beat me to the find in record time Red Face Having looked at the DT rating I thought we would have been there for a while but it was easy enough today.

Having logged this one later than normal for other geocachers, reading the cache page is intriguing. We found the cache and replaced as we had found it. Hope we didn't do anything wrong!

Thanks for the cache Orange Crew Big Grin

First one for 2016. Found on the ground put back in safe place. TYFTC.

It took a bit more T than the rating for me, but that was my own doing. It also took less D than I expected, but I put that down to luck. TFTC

This is my Christmas cache today.
After some encouragement, I came back to see if I could find this one.
Police tape and burnt car are gone.
After a little search the cache came to hand.
Log a little damp but still able to sign log.
Just how I like my man.

Tuesday. Kerry from Slow Puncture was out today on some journeys around our area. Must have been wearing caching glasses today (unlike previous day) as this cache was found very quickly. Very nice hide indeed! Loved this cache. Apart from walking into this cache when I could have driven (I did drive past the drive in point before I remembered there was a cache in the area), but no matter, it was only a short walk.

This was the 1st of 1 caches found on this trip.

Thanks [Blue]Orange Crew[/Blue], for showing us this place. A favourite point for naming this cache after my lovely husband Big Grin

Missed the turn off so parked around the corner then legged it to GZ, passing some muggles camped nearby. Surprised myself by finding TD&H reasonably quickly. TFTC Orange Crew.

Came in here but did not see the police tape as we drove in.
Apparently a very expensive Mercedes was torched last night.
A 4WD was torched a while ago.
Not good with micros
Will probably take me a few goes.

STF!

Initially arrived last night within 10minutes of the cache being publish. Gave up as darkness set in. Also found some 4x4 doing donuts close by.

Gmccul and I decided to give this a crack his afternoon. Within 2 minutes Gmccul came up with the goods. No wonder I couldn't see this last night!

Thanks for bringing us here. Nice 4x4 tracks to explore when I can finally convince Gmccul that getting a 4x4 is a caching necessity! Until then, doing a few donuts whilst the kids cheer on will have to suffice!

TFTC. FP from me!

STDNF. The annoying crows in the trees had me up at 4:30 this morning. Knowing there was a newly published OC cache and EngPhil DNF'ed last night, I figured, "Why not?". I mean, if Phil didn't find it, surely I have a chance, right? I arrived and quickly identified the namesake of this cache. Immediately a nearby cache came to mind. My stragedy was to be thorough and methodic. The first time I did a detailed precursory search. Nuthin'. Second time around, I relied primarily on touch. Nuthin' Third time around I tried licking every square inch of the structure hoping to taste something just a little off. Nuthin' The fourth time around I searched for ground-dwelling decoys. Nuthin' By now the early morning sun was burning a hole in my head and my time was just about up. Mrs. Wallaby would be up soon and would be wondering where I was, like she doesn't know. TFTC OC.

*FTF* 11:45am. Saw on FB that this one was still up for grabs so went and checked out the DNFs - neither EngPhil nor WallabyWannabe has found it?! Am I being cocky if I think I'll achieve the FTF for this?? I dunno but since I do actually have a little time to spare today and knowing 1MinnieMooJnr is gonna kill me, I thought "what the heck"? Been meaning to get to do an Orange Crew cache for a while now, so decided it was gonna be worth the attempt. Arrived at GZ and with no other vehicles around so was rather hopeful for a find. Checked likely spot, then tried "over there" followed by "maybe over there" or "perhaps there instead" before finally deciding it had to be "there". Putting away gps and using cacher's eyes it surprisingly came to me relatively quickly in the end and I'm happy to say my cockiness paid off. Log signed and replaced quickly before other eager beavers turned up and I made my way the easier way back to the car with only a couple of scratches on my legs to show for the outing. A very nicely hidden little hide Orange Crew, thanks for the cache!

Woohoo!!

I saw this one listed last night but I was out. On my home I decided I would stop by. I stopped on the side of the road in the dark with no torch. I put the torch on my phone and could barely see anything. Hmm maybe I'll come back..

I was set to come back this morning but the pest control guy ran over in time and I had to be somewhere else. Bugger. After Djmccullagh came home we decided we would try again. We drove down the track in our 2WD and parked right next to GZ.

We soon had the cache in hand and was surprisingly easier than I though. Just before leaving Djmccullagh did a few spins around whilst trying to convince me we need to buy a 4W4!!

FTDNF, but I shall generously share it with the army of spiders, ants and toads at GZ. None of us could come up with a cache tonight. Not that I expected to, given the D rating.

At least I know the easy way in now. [B)]
