After parking on Tuckett Street, I headed down and then approached this geocache via the playground, following a small loose footpad before coming across a better locals track. As a side note, I followed this track out, and there is a clear trailhead where this path starts - best enter via S 27 30.142' E 152 55.528'.For the most part, the track was easygoing, and the location where the geocache led me was a cool spot. With the geocache's hint, it suggested an obvious spot, where the cache was quickly found. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I enjoyed the nice views of the adjacent river from this vantage point too. Thanks adanavam for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, I headed west to Brookfield and Pullendale area and targeted the *axe and pick* geoart series that were accessible from the road (or short walks).I started in Kenmore and Kenmore Hills, and then ventured north to Brookfield where I walked/jogged some of the trails in Gold Creek Reserve. It was then time to pick up the *axe and pick* geoart series in Upper Brookfield and Pullendale, and then another enjoyable walk in Moggill Conservation Park. My remaining time was then utilised to visit Bellbowrie and Moggill for a few last geocaches. A terrific winter blue sky day!
After dropping EJ at the nearby cricket field, before heading back home and then off to our churchs ladies Christmas event (decorating baubles and candles), I had to stop off and find this cache. More procrastination before assessment marking and report card writing! Before a proper inspection, Id assumed it was your run-of-the-mill park-kind-of-cache. So I was in my bright pink Christmas wrap dress and had very inappropriate footwear too. Plus I had two dogs pulling me this way & that. They got tied up for the last bit. Id say it warrants the 3 terrain rating. And what a beautiful hidden nook of bushland and creek! The creek was dry though except for some stagnant looking pools but how special is this! This park is already hidden away (a few people got lost trying to find the cricket pitch/field). But, even from where I parked the car, I didnt expect to be exploring a place like this! Thank you geocaching and Adanava.
I had a bunch of caches in the Brookfield area to collect, so popped geodoggo in the car and headed in that direction.
I really enjoyed wandering along the path to gz, very pretty area. At gz the cache was quickly spotted. Log signed, all replaced as found.
Thanks adanavam for the cache.

As I was in the area I got my worn legs out of the car for another cache.
After a bit of searching I found it at the obvious spot.
Added a waterproof log to the cache.
Find number 29875 for me.
Thank you adanavam for hiding this geocache.

This one hasn’t been found for a long time but it is still there! Log was very damp but I was still able to sign it. TFTC!
An easy walk in and perfect match for the hint but with debris at least two metres above my head there was a lot of water through here at some stage. Perhaps the CO could check it is still in place.
I came here once before after heavy rain and the path was completely underwater. Much better today. Thanks for the cache
Didn’t take the easiest way but was glad I wasn’t here after rain as I walked down a mostly dry creek bed. Found where all the washed away drink bottles and balls end up. Once at gz, an easy find with help from the hint. Tftc
Out with patrol14. Great day. TFTC. Wow, just amazing creek is so clear. Lots of water. Cache has been submerged. Log is still dry.
Such a pretty reserve
My partner actually found the cache before me, as I'm wearing sandals not suitable for the terrain haha. Signed the log and left a trackable I picked up in Hughenden about a week ago!

This is a gem of an area. I had a cache downstream of here for many years. In my case, the cache was inundated every year. I had it tethered to a log, so it generaly didn't go anywhere, but it was always wet and soggy. I little sad, to be truthful.
But not this one, today. I found the log to be fresh and new with neat double baggies and all was good. A delight.
I don't think the doggy thought it was delightful. I kept her tied up to a tree within view when all she wanted to do was sniff around and explore. Being a scent-hound variety if she did start exploring she would just keep going. She had to be satisfied with a sniff on the way in and the way out. I heard no complaints.

This location is kind of pretty... if you don’t look too closely...
I can’t compete with woodyrothwell when it comes to describing this hide... only to say I’m still looking for the rope swing... I managed to follow a geotrail all the way in... I removed the saturated contents of the cache, wiped it out, double bagged a temporary log and returned the cache to its position...
Hard to believe I’m only the second finder in almost twelve months... I blame “the covid”...

Just after a bit of rain this place seemed magical. With the sound of running water and whip birds we took a route that seemed to keep us dry and got us close. In all the places we expected to come across water the gully’s were dry. We could hear the water but just couldn’t see it, like a mother in-law that moonlights as a ninja.
The small climb up the bank had danger written all over it unlike the small inheritance I’m about to receive from a Nigerian prince in a recent email. I must have learnt something with age because instead of trudging in, falling in the mud and asking questions later, I took it slow and carefully.
Like always we found the easy trail back out and even came across a rope swing into the creek. The water was crystal clear but only 2 foot deep so I was vetoed against trying it. Who said only kids are allowed to break their backs. tftc

I was in the area picking off some puzzle caches, and felt like this one looked like a good one. The trick was finding a way to GZ, which I did, eventually.
Log book soaked.

After arriving at the GZ I took the longer and harder way some would say, with a wet shoe and my phone sliding down the hill and after reading the logs and hint I finally had the cache in hand after half an hour of searching! TFTC! Cache find no. 113!
was out doing some caching and got this one after a bit of looking

Out this morning decided to take an amble through this lovely forest to look for a cache. Crossed a lovely creek/stream, then another creek, then back across the second stream and onto an indistinct track. After bush bashing for a bit came within 4 metres of the GPS GZ and with the clue decided it was THERE!! Unfortunately I didn't have a cherry picker or a ladder or climbing gear in my pocket, so decided to leave it for another day.
I had fun finding this one. The log book is soaked and I could not sign my name. TFTC
Went after this unloved cache today, hoping to find it. I tried a few different approaches, but faced either a steep slope or impassable scrubby long grass. No luck unfortunately, so this poor cache remains unloved.
I'm not sure if there was an easier way to get to this cache but I think I took the harder way. A little rainforest in here. TFTC!
Took the geo kids for a small walk and to some parks today.
This must have been one of the first geocaches in Australia I looked at while the rest of the team had a play in the nearby park. My GPS had me clearly on the other side, so couldn't find it. Many thanks @IolantheK for posting some more accurate coordintes. That made the search a lot easier. Although the GPS was bouncy, the map gave some indication on which side to look. Geo kids went ahead and made a quick find.
Thank for bringing us here, adanavam

I ran out of time yesterday so i stored this one for my run over this way today.
This would have to be one of the most beautiful little creeks i have ever visited. The light at this time of day and the reflections, only wish i had me camera with me.
After the rain last night the track in and up to the cache was mushy. I almost ended up in the said pretty creek.
Somehow i managed to hold on and soon had cache in hand.
I didn't really want to leave but work was calling, and i still had 5 caches to find.
Thanks for this cache.

I have had this on my to do list for over 6 months as it was hidden on a date I needed for my hidden challenge. I once came at it from another cache but was thwarted by lots of water. Today I parked reasonably close and one giant leap later I was in the right spot. But this was the wrong spot. I read the recent logs and changed my gz and soon had the cache in hand and signed. TFTC.

TFTC...Well that's a good one out of the way. Coordinates are NOT accurate but the previous posts contain some that are closer. Picking the right nice boulder is the key, I actually stumbled over it after abandoning the GPS and looked for a cache hide. Lovely and quiet area but not sure it would be accessible after prolonged rain.
After finding the downstream cache it was a slow wander to this one for us. Modelbear doesn't tend to move very quickly. Found our way down to the vicinity of GZ and that's when the long search started. After a while 1/2 Modelbear gave up and lay down to enjoy the babbling brook and the dappled sun while other 1/2 Modelbear continued to search. He finally remembered that there were alternative co-ordinates to GZ and once those were looked up the new search area became obvious. A small challenge to get to GZ but a quick find after that. Then the hard part was getting the relaxing 1/2 of Modelbear up and moving Thanks for this cache and a favourite point from the relaxed 1/2 of Modelbear
Took us a while to find the right access but finally managed to find the cache within minutes.

Last one for the day. I found plenty of parking, the muggles nearby ignored me, I followed a nice trail, crossed the first creek which was dry, crossed the second creek which had water but was only about 1.5 metres wide, then began my search... and came up empty-handed I looked high and low and under and around, but no cache Crossed back and forth over the creek quite a few times, struggled with the GPS, then finally resorted to reading previous logs, where I discovered the co-ords are off 18 metres? Well, that puts me over there... and looks like the hint matches up nicely. Back across the creek once more, over to my suspected GZ, and there's the cache. I'll add my co-ords to the log, and put them here for app users as well: S 27 30.103 E 152 55.580. TFTC, adanavam.
There were a lot of boulders around, checked many but couldn't find the right one.
After a couple of other caches in the area I called in this morning to have a look for this one. With no water in the creek despite the recent rain I walked along the creek bed to about 25m from GZ where I had to change my angle of attach to reach the cache. The cache was quickly located with th clue, and after signing the logboo I decided to take a different way back and found a few tracks that eventually led me back to the car. TFTC
Found after tackling another nearby cache. Took a well-beaten track to within 30m or so of GZ, at which point my sense of direction failed us spectacularly. A second well-beaten track seemed like the obvious way to go, but led us in a difficult and unnecessary loop along a soggy creek bed. Fortunately, our ordeal ended in success - a DNF after all of that would have stung badly! TFTC
Sounds like a lot of people are reporting the coordinates of GZ are out by a fair amount. I had trouble getting a decent signal lock which is why the coordinates may be out. Next time I come by I'll take another reading and update if necessary.
Out and about in the area today after meeting up with a friend.
I found the track leading to GZ.
Then the search began, eventually one of the logs pointed me in the right direction. My phone had me 18m from GZ and high and dry.
Thanks for the cache.

Out and about for the day to attend a nearby event this evening but figured I may as well make a few finds while in the area. This was the first stop and seemed to be an interesting one. Well I found my way along a dried up portion of the creek bed, before having to make the first crossing, which I did precariously on a partially submerged log. Then a short walk and I was crossing again and soon the cache was in hand, I got my name in the log and soon heading back the same way I approached.

Time to clean up a few of the local caches as yet unfound. I recall being here in the area once before - I assume it was for a cache, but not sure. I attacked from the wrong side, and though geodog made quick work of getting over the recent rain made it harder (and in the end wetter) for me. All in all an enjoyable cache, though the bounce on the phone and gpsr made it a lot longer than it should have been. I should have followed my geo-sense sooner!
After crossing the park I followed the GPS into a mini wonderland, this area is quite the hidden gem. A series of trail and a couple of water crossing later I clamber to GZ and made the find. A most enjoyable cache, it gets a favorite from me. Cheers adanvam
After meeting up with NurseyJulie at a nearby cache, we headed to this one. A short walk brought us to GZ. Our phones didnt like this area so were of little use in finding an exact GZ. We searched here and there without luck. Then I spotted a something that fitted with the hint...and another...and another. As NurseyJulie was closer, I suggested that she look there, then there....and oh, there! That sure is a nice boulder! We added our name to the log and rehid the cache before heading on our way. TFTC
I saw this one published not a few hundred metres from home! However I was working a late shift so there was no way I could make a FTF and in the dark. Today however, a little more time in the morning, and Selvagirls joined in to search. We were a little out with the GPS, but Selva Girls managed to spot the large object and I scooted up and made the find. TFTC Adamnavam
I've had a very quiet run recently... In fact, I believe November 15 was my quietest ever... But one streak I want to keep going is monthly FTFs, and I haven't scored yet.
Tonight I left a Lessons and Carols service at St Lucia and discovered a couple of new publications. This one was less than 2km from home, so well worth a shot. After an Event nearby today, I would have been surprised if no one had gone for it, but it looks like everyone was tuckered out or elsewhere.
I thought I knew this area reasonably well, but this creek section rang no bells at all. I found a track in from the West and followed it cautiously, alert for snakes, cane toads or spiders.
Close to GZ, I heard voices and saw a light approaching. Yes, company in the form of cachers quite a long way from home, and more comfortable in trees than creeks.
We agreed on the GZ and likely theories of the hide, but found zip, even after a bit of wading and jumping. After deciding we were close to DNF time, Mr SMH expanded the zone and discovered a hinted object we hadn't seen before. Brilliantly, he worked his way in and made the find: hooray!
Now we could all feel the hunt had been worth it. It is certainly a scenic area and no doubt the hunt would be easier in daylight, but the canopy here makes accurate coords very difficult, and this spot was a fair way North of where we first found ourselves. Anyway, thanks to SMH for sharing the *FTF* which was much appreciated and TFTC for another local cache.
