Took two of us to figure this one out, removed the pin and chop! down came the guillotine, after much head scratching cache was in hand, thanks Kaz444. A favourite from me
Out for a day of caching with Gaynor56. The Guillotine dropped but then we weren't sure where to find the cache. But after some thinking we realised it had to be there. And yes it was. Loved this - a favourite from me.
I found this clever cache, but the 'guillotine" was stuck at the top, and wouldn't drop. Maybe the next finder can fix it, I couldn't, sorry.
Found it , was a pretty cool... found both of the eclipse containers but the one shown in the pictures isn't the same as the 2 we found
Really appreciate the effort for this one, although it seems to be broken. Can imagine how it would work sorry had the right effect. Found with Goldberry17. TFTC. A favourite for effort.
2nd cache of the day, out geocaching with 2pods. The mechanism was broken but the cache & log were accessible. Dropped off little peg #2. Thanks for placing a cache here.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Making our way to Broken Hill for Mundi Mundi Bash. Staying a couple of days in Muswellbrook, today we headed out to find a couple of caches in the freezing wind. Not sure how but the lid was still there with no base or logsheet. we have added a mint tin so it will still have the right effect. We found your cache today. TFTC Rock_Dok
I still do not know how this is supposed to work. The string is showing its age, so is not working as it really should, but it still works. I kept dropping it, but nothing showed. I kept wondering what the side bit was for, but could see nothing up there, and it wasnt till i saw a loose screw jamming the tube, and by placing that screw on the flat surfasce, i notice where the magnet is. So the container has to be up there. Not sure of what the connections are supposed to be, but finally managed to extract the container with a stick. TFTC.
Having found trucks, cars and even heavy vehicles parked here each time we drove past over the last 4 years, it was a relief to finally be the ones parked under the bridge Yipee!!! The cache was ours to find at last, oh, and a favourite point from us, SL, TFTC
How lovely that my job should send me out to this part of the world for a few days. And given I finish work in the early afternoon and I have a hire car, well of course I'm going to go geocaching. Convenient, right!? A quick change into shorts and I drive around the back of Lake Liddell towards this cluster of loved geocaches. And now it's a case of grab those on the left while heading towards Muswellbrook. The New England Highway is my favourite highway. And I'm not sure if most people have a favourite highway, but I do. And driving nearly all of it was the basis of a holiday I'd had years ago. Anyway, I'm on it again and park up under the rail bridge. A nice bit of shade to leave the car in.A short stroll, and finding a track in the bush helped. Then I followed my phone/app arrow directly, and went rather bush-bashy. In the process startled a rabbit which took off just metres from my foot, which in turn startled me. Sometimes I wonder why I'm left unsupervised.Realising I needn't have left the track, I spot the geocache and scramble up to it. Yep, I made that a lot harder than needed. I peered at the contraption before me and with the listing details in mind, did what needed to be done. Alas, it all popped open. First problem - resident huntsman needs a temporary "move-along". It was resitant to the idea, but we got there.Second problem at hand: apparently I have massive hands. And as such had a world of issue grabbing the geocache. It's clear and simple what needs to be done, but geometry was not on my side. A little gentle jiggling and assistance from a stick had the logbook fall out into my hand. I signed it at 14:45.Just had to replace as found. Getting the pin to line back up wasn't easy, but some more patience and gentle jiggling got it all reset. Small issue for an excellent geocache - creative and well executed. And at least I found the better way back to the car. Thanks for this experience, Rock_Dok
First full day of The Great Cattle Dog Muster, and PirateLinda has finally arrived to join me…
After spending the day watching Championship Shows, cattle & sheep mustering, dog sports & hundreds of dogs there was still time for a couple of caches…
I had noticed this group of highly favourited caches yesterday on the way back from Raymond Terrace, and TALodo confirmed at my event this morning they were well worth the effort… so here we are… and they didn’t disappoint…
With both PirateLinda and I working together we soon had the container in hand…
A nicely crafted unique container…
Thanks Rock_Dok

Found with Peppa.
Down south for the Great Australian Cattle Dog Muster.
Thought we'd grab a couple in the late afternoon before it gets too dark.
Fantastic container . In great condition for its age.
Favourite point from me

On our way to Tamworth for our overnight accommodation before attending AgQuip in Gunnedah tomorrow. Stopped here due to the number of Fave Points. It didn't disappoint. Adding another to your tally.

The string was getting caught, so it took awhile to get the guillotine down. That would be a slow, painful beheading.
Found with Crafty Dusty and the geopooches on our way to Burning Mountain. Love out of the ordinary caches like this! Fave point from me-cheers!
OMG..... This is definitely the most intricate Geocache I have seen to date. 15/10 for effort on this one
TFTC,
Heading north and need 2 finds today to lift my finds for this date on the grid to 10.
What a great cache. Visited trackables and added a favourite point.

Took awhile see how it worked, then to locate the log book, eventually extracted the container, stamped log and replaced. Also found tennis ball. Thanks to Rock_Dok, never seen a cache like this.
Have done a bit of maintenance on this one.
It used to have a ball, which has now gone missing.
I could not fix it up as much as I would have liked, but hope you can get to the log book.
I just need to get some parts for it, to make it work better.
Have added a pathtag for the next visitor.
Happy caching.

it's great to see a little bit of sunshine after so many days of heavy rain so we decided to spend the morning hunting down adventure labs and anything else that popped up on screen that looked dry enough to get to.
We read the cache page for this one as we approached and we knew that we had to stop just to see what was in store for us. In parts getting to gz was quite sloppy due to the recent rains but once at gz that was of little significance as we had to work out how to get our name in the log. We carefully tried a couple of things to no avail and then the penny dropped and not long after that we were adding our name to the log. We then put it all back together as found.
Many thanks Rock_Dock for the hide, one that we haven't seen anything the likes of before and we are leaving a favourite point as a thank you for all your effort.

Great fun with this one, had to do some running repairs as the cache had fallen down the tube prior to our visit but soon figured it out
Had a lot of fun with this. The actual cache and log had dropped below to the bottom of the device but with some re-adjusting we had it all in great working order again. Then with log signed it was back to the car. Overall a great experience
Such an interesting contraption, and so well made.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make these caches.......it is greatly appreciated!!

Muggle husband spotted this one first as he took the high road and I was trying to take low road. For us it was a 2 person job, but we are mature aged.
Great cache idea.

Took a while to figure out where the book was, but signed and treasure left with the head!!
20,333. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
After heading off early this morning we were cherry-picking caches heading towards Scone for the night. This was the next stop and find of the trip. A quick walk to GZ for the fun find.
TFTC Rock_Dok !!

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 1. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway. We were headed to Tamworth but only made it as far as Scone on the first day. It was a long day of driving with caching only in the afternoon.
This was a fun discovery and experiment to extract the container.
Thanks.

I have been driving past these caches for a while now and always saying one day i will stop. Today was that day. Heading home i had to do the turn around just down the road so i was on the correct side if the road. Made a quick find and took a minute to realise where the cache container was located. signed the log and it was onto the next one up the road. TFTC
Super cache we were able to stop for while towing the caravan so thank you heaps for the pull off area. Made our way to the surprising and fun cache and award another favourite point.
Cheers and happy caching!

Travelling from Morisset to Tamworth as we slowly make our way back the Gold Coast and Brisbane. This was the first of quite a few very creative and imaginative caches we visited today. Each was worthy of a FP. Once at GZ all were easy to spot. Thanks so much Rock_Dok for the time and effort you put into these creations for the enjoyment of others to find and experience.
Attempted to locate this cache and had success without losing my head. What a great setup. Thoroughly enjoyed and give you a FP. TFTC
7156 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1415. Had a sit down at this hide. Fed the mossies and played for a while so as to get the log book. The small container was jammed in there. So with a big stick and a gentle hand it was removed to SL Tnx Rock Dok. All in good condition.
We are staying overnight at Lake Lidell. We decided to go out for an hour and get some nearby caches. We had fun finding some amazingly devised caches. We really enjoyed this unique cache. This one gets a favourite point from us.
Well done. The things you can do with pvc piping

We are heading from Brisbane to Bright in Victoria, caching as we go, wherever it is safe to pull up with the caravan. We left Brisbane on 3rd Jan and don't have to be in Bright til the end of the month. Today's drive takes us from our camp at Lake Liddle on a round trip along Hebden Road.
Located, worked out how to open, and signed something, but not sure if it is the right thing to sign. Sending a message to the CO to make sure...

11:42:00 AM. Plenty of room to park with a caravan and off to GZ. Found the easy walk around the hill then the cache. Worked it out to get the log and it was signed. The ants had made the log container their home and chewed up the bag. Cleaned out the ants and replaced the bag. A favourite point from us. A great cache which we hadn't seen before. Thanks Rock_Dok for the cache.
Your caches are the best, so much effort. I keep thinking one more then I'll stop lol. Thank you
We found this one with my sister DollNy as the sun was going down, love it! Very novel! TFTC!
After Screwball, we continued on to this one. Another excellent idea for a cache - well worth a favvo point from us.
A stop for this one on the way up to Murrurundi. An interesting contraption was found and a novel way of retrieving the cache. An enjoyable find, TFTC.
