This is not really a DNF because there is nothing to find. The pine trees have been cut down and bulldozed. ????
I was wondering why there was a separate Gaelic cemetery, far from the main town one. Until I read the cache page! Yep, church long gone!

After leaving this great rural South Australian town Mrs one-eyed having Scottish heritage wanted to stop here along the gravel road with the 4WD and caravan in tow,
Found the cache okay in good condition, loads of history.
Then how to turn around, lucky there was a small entry to a farm property , all was good.

No dead people see. Bright container.
Thanks pinkmundi and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

Gallivanting along the Goyder, we renamed the Carcass Highway after losing count of the dead Roos (1 live one). Those signs don’t lie, be careful peeps!! We started in crystal brook finishing the night in Barmera with the fishing family. A few caches were allowed along the way by the GDA. I used radio and music to distract him . Was really pleased to find this one, high and dry, and with only my iPhone. Thanks for placing this cache, interesting spot we wouldn’t normally know was there.
As our holiday is almost finished now, we are just tiki-touring around the local countryside picking up as many caches as we can. Hot weather is forecast so travelling in the air conditioned car is the preferable way to get around today.
Round and round and round we go. Checked all the trees and checked them again. Then checked some more. Found a photo from a recent cacher and started trying to match to a tree. Finally the cache was spotted. tftc

Took longer than it should have but a find and a smiley with the eyes of the Adder

After a short public holiday shift there was time for a afternoon drive and of course a couple of caches, a very old cemetry and spooky with the old pine trees surounding the graves, a straight forward find for us today

Wouldn’t it be lovely if there were some historical group who could maintain these places of rest for those lost souls.

50/55 for today - my best day so far. Day 6 of an 8 Day road trip through SA.
Whyalla to Iron Knob through to Renmark. Stopping whenever I felt like it, wherever I felt like it, if there was a cache nearby anyway.
I drove past a lot but didn't have time to get them all!
I felt a long way from home while I was here at this cemetery. Standing under these pine trees with the graves of these lost souls nearby had me feeling tingles on my neck.
Cache found after a short search and signed and replaced.
Thanks

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

This was an interesting spot [^]. If not for geocaching . . . .
This took us quite awhile to find, eventually realising we were looking too low .

Thanks again Sadiesmate.

Rè siubhal teaghlaich leth-chunbhalaich do Bhurra (dh’fhuirich pàrantan mo mhàthair a’ siud rè greis ‘n uair a bha i na h-òige oir ‘s e ministear na h-Eaglaise Shassanaich a th’ ann a h-athair), rinn sinn far-bhealach dha ‘n chladh Gàidhealach. Bha fìos aig mo phiùthair gu bheil cladh ann, ach cha robh rìos aice air an àite cunntasach. Smaoin mise gum bitheadh tasgadan anns a’ chladh – oir ‘s e cladh a th’ ann. Bha mi ceart. Bha ‘n cladh na ‘s lugha ‘s a bha fiughair agam – ach bha e glè inntinneach a dh’aindeoin sin. Bha faighinn an thasgadan beagan doirbh oir bha iomadh giuthas ann (agus tha cnatan an fheòir orm bho ghiuthais ach mhàir mi). ‘S beag nach do cheum mo mhàthair air oir bha e eadar dà chraobh. Shoidhneach mi an log agus chuir mi an tasgadan anns a’ chraobh a ‘s fhaisge air GZ. TLDT.
During a semi-regular family trip to Burra (my mother’s parents lived there for a short time when she was younger because her father is an Anglican minister), we made a detour to the Gaelic cemetery. My sister knew there’s a cemetery there, but she didn’t know the exact place. I thought a cache might be in the cemetery – because it’s a cemetery. I was right. The cemetery was smaller than I expected – but still quite interesting. Finding the cache was a little tricky as there were many pine-trees there (and I am allergic to pine-trees but I lasted). My mother almost stepped on it because it was between two trees. I signed the log and I put the cache in the tree nearest GZ. TFTC.

Out and about with Moneydork finding a few caches, doing some maintenance and puting out a few more. As they say "if it wasn't for geocaching I wouldn't have come here", tftc
Found by Mary & David at 1320. A FP for bringing us here. Mary loves exploring cemeteries, but only one headstone visible, and it's almost cut off by a fallen pine tree. The notice board lists some strong Scottish names, Angus, Donald, Mary etc, There are some elaborate wrought iron fences too. No unnecessary expense on giant headstones or carved illustrations here - their reward would be in Heaven. Perhaps some of their descendants are still in the area? Our thanks to pinkmundi.
It was fluke for me as I assumed a different cache but I found it with sevabo and Dolphia. TFTC
Got this one on our pilgimage to Alice Springs - it was a good opportunity to get out of the car for a while. Thanks to pinkmundi for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Found with MIA and GrimsTattoo. This took us a while to spot and when we did it was missing a logsheet. New sheet(in cliptop bag) added. Thanks pinkmundi for the hide.
Who, but a geocacher, can plan on having dinner in Jamestown at 6.30pm, 120kms from home, and leave 9.30am that morning and get home 7.30pm the following night after travelling 750kms.
We had a great weekend, viewing some great scenery, meeting wonderful people and, of course finding a cache or 2 or 3 or ............
Thank you to those who left a cache for us to find and make the weekend so good.

Heading home after a weekend at Willangi Bush Escapes north of Peterborough 4WDing and camping away from phone coverage, grabbing caches along the way. TFTC.
After a very scenic drive across the rolling hills, I rolled to a stop outside this hidden cemetery
It is a beauty too !!
Lots a pine trees
And lots a pine trees, means lots a places to hide a cache
I found that reciting the 'Fibonacci Sequence' helped here, and I soon had the cache in paw
