Or for a Sunday morning stroll with geodog and himself and a bit of light caching. This one seems to have lost its log and no sign of remnants lying about. Called the CO and is the spot. I had no replacement with me. Container remains so if youre out to get it please bring some new log paper. TFTC
In Auckland again this weekend with rattll, aiming to reach a significant milestone number of caches to coincide with a significant anniversary for her. After a hold-up to proceedings earlier today (a flat tyre on a campervan is a mission to repair on a Sunday), we finally got underway around Mangere Lagoon and Puketutu. It didn't take us long to spot this one. Extraction was another story! Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
After waking up this morning to find the campervan had a flat tyre, we spent the rest of the morning organizing AA visits, tow trucks and someone to repair it - such drama for one flat tyre!!!As a result we didn't manage to head out caching until close on 2pm. So we were pretty happy with a haul of 25 caches around the cycle trails here. We'll be back for the others another day. It didn't take too long to spot this one. A bit tricky to get out without tweezers but we got there
I found a container which was probably the Geocache one point or another, and added a log, and then reheat the container as shown in the picture. Thanks for the fun!
This site has been developed with concrete and posts are all gone. Think cache is well gone.
Cache nowhere to be seen. These posts look new so it might need to be replaced!
School holidays and time for a road trip to Auckland to visit family. Just dropped off friends at the airport and finding some nearby caches. As previously noted lots of excavating near GZ but cache all fine. Thanks nziceman for the smiley.
The ridge of fresh diggings made me doubtful but the cache is where it should be . Yay. Tftc
Visiting from Ohio, USA and had a couple of hours to spare after landing at the airport. High stepped through the grass for this one.
A quick find in the hint place.
There is quite a bit of rubbish around here.

On a flying visit to Akl, but just had to stop off for a cache or two, before heading back to Whangarei.
A nice quick find here, but log was a bit wet, unsurprisingly, and couldn't really sign, so took a photo instead. TFTC

Yes I agree with Op44 - bit of an old log and cache. But thanks for another cache along here.
The container and log are like me. Old wearing out frayed around the edges but still functional....just. Thanks.
A not so mad day caching,.. but I certainly benefited! Out with Keylev and NZTravellers again. As they have all gotten most of the caches in this area, it was up to be to play catchup to these 2. They were feeling extremely charitable and I wasn't going to pass the opportunity up. Sure they used me for cache maintenance labour, but as long as I get to sign the logs, I don't very much care
Since this was the nutter that suggested that "caching was a really fun activity to do with your kids" and kicked off this whole madness. At the end, the kids aren't here, and i'm grabbing med bottles from under a tree. Thanks Keylev! Fave point for you!

Took the short cut through the bush and soon ended up here. Another nice find and these are probably better to find on foot anyway.
An early start to head out and make a few finds today whilst mrs c is back to work for the morning. Started out on the awesome Mangere mountain and volcano which is my third visit there and has been a good walk each time. The weather came to play again with scorching hot temperatures. It was a big day for hitting the various caching trails and had around 17kms under my boots before i got home. A trip out to the poo ponds and Ambury Regional Park were also in scope and thanks to all COs for their caches and efforts towards my finds today.

Out today to grab a few caches with Anastriel, and she had already found this one, but kindly stopped so I could grab it as we drove past. I had the cache in hand pretty quick, and the log signed. TFTC #1286
Log damaged on this one, was still ok to sign but may need to be replaced

Day 28 and all is going well on my Te Araroa adventure from cape reinga to bluff.
To day we left down town Auckland at 6am and will end our day at the 33 km mark around the airport somewhere.
And luckily for me a detour and a rest break stop me here so why not pick it up .

I was in Auckland for the U2 concert last night, and had some spare time before my flight back home today to go for a walk around the Mangere Lagoon.

In Auckland for a few days so only aiming a few caches. Brought my bike up so had to use it on some of these. TFTC
Our first find on this trip to NZ. Close to where we are staying before heading off campervanning tomorrow. Quick find with good coords and hint. Log a little damp but signable. TFTC keylev
An afternoon walk from the airport to Onehunga. 28 smileys along the way with a few DNFs. Was coming to the end of the nearby 100/100 challenge which meant I had to walk past a few caches with the wrong difficulty/terrain rating. That felt very strange.
This was one of them.
This was one of them.
Stayed at the nearby backpackers last night and made a new friend so this morning we went for a walk and I showed her all about geocaching. She can't wait to get home to tell her family about it. TFTC keylev

Find number 5547. I missed this one on my last visit to the area. Swung by and missed the stop so backed up. I waited for a car parked 50m away to leave before quickly jumping in and grabbing the cache. Had just got back in the car when the vehicle came back in the other direction. I was confronted about dumping rubbish. I assured them I was not. Even though I still had and a rubbish bag in the back of my car from the CITO earlier in the day. Nice to see that locals are trying to ensure the area is cleaned up. Thank you for the placement.
Strange, that the last cacher (007-Kelkheim) hasn't signed most of the logbooks. No sign, but online log? Just if the owner mind. Thanks a lot for the fun today.

After traveling along the country in a rental campervan we had to drop it off today…. But shortly before "ending" our lovely journey we just visited some final caches hiden at Greenwood road. Thanks for hiding them here...
Made it to Auckland, New Zealand and am ready to party! These were so darn close to our hotel, we couldn’t resist.

TFTC
After arriving in New Zealand that morning we had some free time near the airport. So we did an extended walk around the area and found quite a few caches. Sadly this part of our route is in need of an CITO.

Out today for an attempt on this series of caches. As we were a part of that fateful trip, we decided that it was time that we went and got these caches. So a plan was hatched to grab them sometime these school holidays, and that day was today.
We were starting to power through this series of caches now. It was a succession of, drive to the proximity of GZ, jump out, find the cache, sign the log, replace the log and the cache, then drive off to the next one. This one was no different. it didn't take long to find this one and then we were off to the next.

Was nearby today and after a dnf the last time we were here we really wanted if we could turn this blue face yellow. Not sure why we struggled last time a very quick find for us today.

Back in Auckland I went a road-tour in the periphery of the city.
Thanks for the cache!

A few posts in the area but only one looks like a Geocacher’s post. Easy find. TFTC.
Out to find a few caches this afternoon while Ms M has a massage.
A quick find and sign.
Road works down the road which doesn’t look promising for the next few.

Very late to log - with apologies.
Trying to catch up so we can achieve our next milestone.
After a trip to Canada, we now have a short trip of the Nth & Sth Islands.
It was a fantastic trip.

How apt. My last cache for the day and it's dedicated to Mrs Keylev. I couldn't resist a few last park and grabs after my earlier wet walk. This was another one I didn't find last time. The outside was very muddy but the inside was dry. That's again for all your caches in this area It makes airport drop offs and pick ups more fun.
Beautiful weather, warm and sunny so I used it to make a nice Caching tour about noon team at the airport area. I could find a couple of Caches, most of them were not hard to find. I was glad that I didn't have any DNFs. Great joy!
Another quick grab!
Thanks for hiding!

On a 24hr mission to Auckland with Philip.Perry and three of my kids started caching at about 3pm getting back to accommodation at 330am then up and back on the road for a xouple of hours before heading home. We decided we had three caches we had to find this mission then the rest was all about getting our numbers up so concentrated on a high cache area. Meet Sethraven just on dusk who helped us on a cache we couldnt find before she headed home so that was great. Really enjoy caching in Auckland at night no traffic and no muggles to get in our way. We only had a few DNF caches for the day which isnt to bad. Thanks to all th CO for the caches.
Had a cheeky Auckland Mission on the cards this weekend - just had to drop the family off in Pukekohe first and then meet up with Davidsonclan. We had a few caches on the list today but mainly this was just a numbers mission. A late start meant we'd be late to finish but 3am isn't too bad. There were some great finds and some grotty finds but cheers to the CO's and those that help maintain their caches. We didn't have any problems here - the cache was found quickly thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward hint. Cheers nziceman, TFTC.

Out hunting for Hidden Creatures today. Unknown cache container Ha Ha. Thanks again keylev.
Trying to reverse the DNF of a couple of weeks ago and I did so with a quick find here. Glad the contents were dry, unlike my last find. Thanks for the replacement keylev! Now... how many more of the DNFs can I convert before time runs out on me today?
Number 4 for the night waiting for rehearsal to be finished, then being advised of an hour overrun.... a quick search revealing what I came for.... signed in, then onto the next one. ....

Out running some maintenance for NZ Iceman so took the opportunity to sign the log. Was present at placement.
Container replaced. Unfortunately I didn't have anything cool like the original to hand so its an eclipse container but its an 'intense' one just like Keylev herself...ha ha. Hint updated. Happy finding.
Gutted I couldn't find this hide named after the CO but, although there were several options at GZ, none revealed anything more than ants. Previous DNFs showing on my limited amount of logs per cache on my GPSr didn't help my resolve to make a find and after some time decided to just forge on to another cache.
