I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Ely1
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Nice wee adventure. Been a while since it was hidden so wondering if its been swept away over the years. Also a lot of plant growth. Thanks for the wee side adventure on our weekend away!
Floods have clearly been through this area as many muddy areas of old flood remains, cache needs a quick check to confirm if its still in place.
Had fun getting to GZ but there has been alot of flooding through here so have doubts it is still here.
There are loads of options for a hide but it turned out to be not too hard. Getting there is the challenge!
Spending the night in the nearby campground, I set off to search for this cache after dinner. I soon found that wearing Flip-Flops was probably not the best idea. Unfortunately, ground zero turned out to sport too many hiding places that might match the hint and the jumping GPS didn't help either. Too bad, there would have been plenty nice hides on the way in my opinion. Still, thanks for providing me with some movement after dinner.
Stayed at the campground and off for a stroll in the morning to find this one. Nice river and walk, through some fairly overgrown grass to locate it. TFTC
Last time we were here was on Boxing Day a few years ago, possibly 2015 and the place was full of campers. This is a much better time of the year to explore so we did and after a short search in the obvious place, we widened our search and M soon found the cache.
TFTC. A lovely wander in this area today. Sunshine abounded.
Far out - I see where the freedom campers are now!!
This was a bit of a hunt as GPS about the place and lots of logs around.
Look for a classic cache hide marker.
Also look out for the electric fence - you don’t need to be near it.
Thanks Ely1 for placing the cache.

After a jungle tour able to find this one.

After I finished my work commitments for the day, I had time to find a few more caches before I had to head back into the city and catch up with my daughter for dinner. It took me a little while to work out the best approach to this cache. Once I got close to GZ, there were 3 or 4 spots that looked likely. Eventually found the right one. Looks like it has dried out here a bit. TFTC, Biggles.
Sunday caching adventure. Working on hidden creatures. Thanks for the hide. Replaced log as very wet
This is the last couple of days these Aussies have to go caching in New Zealand and it has been a lot of fun. We have also enjoyed the sights and experiences we have had along the way.
This was not an easy cache to find, but at least the very long grass was dry when we went looking for it. A possible hiding place for the cache was eventually spotted, which only left a couple more hurdles to go. Opening the cache was very disappointing, as the sodden pulp inside could not be signed. Draining didn't help the cache much, so all was simply put back into positon, before we returned to our nearby camp site for the night.

While staying here for for the night I quickly found this one, although it's soaking wet...

Thought it might've been washed away in the recent flood, spotted just as I was about to give up. TFTC!
The logbook was too wet to write in, tipped some water out of container but the logbook will probably need to be replaced.
We have camped at Chamberlain's Ford for years now but never been over the bridge to explore. Tricky to get to with the fences. Tftc
16 April 2017 16:33. Yes it is an electric fence... yes it is turned on... yes the grass is longer than Stanley the fierce biddy bid collector is tall and yes... that fantail was laughing at us! TFTC Ely1
I had been looking forward to a drive out this way for a while. With nothing on my agenda accept geocaching and driving, off I went.

I have been in New Zealand alone 25 years ago.
This time i visited down under again with my wife.
We also visited our daughters which were here for 7 months for work and travel.
On our way north, we stopped here an slept a night on the campesite.
In the morning we went to this place and found the box in his hidden place.
Thank you very much for this cache and many greetings from Germany.

We had shot across the Bridge so came in the back way..and after plodging throu long grass it was soon found.TFTH
Got some cheap flights a few weeks ago so the plan was to come down for a big run in Ashburton to achieve the 120 in one day and get the gemstone. OMG! We started at the crack of dawn and finished in the dark. Foggy and cool but cleared by lunchtime. It should have been achieved much quicker. We had not really planned a route and detoured a bit. Some of this backfired as we ended up on some long gravel roads that had missing caches and was most disappointing. We got stuck for about an hour on a multi I specially wanted for qualifying for another cache which was frustrating. However, we made it - with a few to spare I believe - but are totally shattered. Too many to log individually so are doing the copy and paste. Many thanks to all who placed caches. What beautiful countryside and we love the fact we could pull over and park safely. Not keen on the many prickly pine trees so many were hidden under. The breeze only got up in the afternoon and it was a lovely warm breeze - not like Manawatu freezing winds even at this time of the year. More traffic on the roads than we expected and they fair motor along. Many thanks for the caches. It has made the whole trip worthwhile.
Are we sure this isn't private property? The (new?) fences seem a bit all over the place... Seems like there are plenty of more accessible spaces in the rest of the reserve... found it regardless. TFTC (3366)
Was driving around Selwyn ticking off all my unfound caches. Was amazed at the numbers camped out at Chamberlains Ford So many more than those staying with us at Coes Ford, but then Chamberlains caters for children better with its space for mountain bike, trail and quadbike activities. There is a recently fenced off stock underpass constructed under the bridge right close to GZ. The fence is electrified. It is possible to access the cache from Chamberlains without needing to cross the fence - just follow the fence around to within 5m of the cache. Thanks for the cache Ely1.
StreetWalker and I are trying to surpass 3,000 finds for the year, so we decided to have a Sunday excursion to the Leeston / Southbridge / Ellesmere where there werequite a few unfound caches. With 28 caches found today, we now have less than 100 finds to make in the next 13 days. So we might just do it .
We had driven past this cache before, but today we had done our homework on how to access. There looks like a new fence near GZ, and as it is electrified, I let SW go the last 20m or so, while I stayed safely on the other side of the fence . Good to turn this into a smiley.
Lots of people in the camping ground today. No doubt there will be more as the summer progresses. TFTC.

#13533. We drove past lots of campers before getting to the end of the road, and continuing on foot. The area around GZ seems to have undergone recent changes, with a stock under pass now in place (complete with new electric fence), and the trees near GZ pruned back. The cache hiding place is still OK; jsut a bit harder to get to. TFTC.
On a mission to clean up unfound caches in the SW with 2 Wombles, 80ish for the day. Quick easy find having solved the puzzle some time ago. Thanks for the effort that goes into these caches.
Don't get out this way too often. Decided to head out this way for a day of caching with Surveybase. No problems locating this cache today. Thanks for the cache

This was a little more out of the way than the other cache in the Ford so made for an easier find once I got to GZ. Quickly spotted the tell tale hidey hole.
Headed out with two of the cachelets for a bit of a mad misson as you do. We were after a FTF but it fell on route and we were nearby this cache and made a detour to have a play with the truck and throw some stones. We made a quick find and headed to the river bed to have a bit of a 4 wheel. Nice wee hidey hole.
Thanks for the cache Ely1.

With the heavy rain we didn't spend more than a couple of minutes searching for any one today.
Time to grab these caches, but the Southerly was not helping. So we did not stay too long, grabbed the cache and moved on. TFTC
Didn't want to get wet feet, so found the long way round - - eventually! Then a bit of clambering about which adds to the fun. Good hide. TFTC
Found by onefunkiwi. Lost the first funkiwi when we realized we forgot the dog lead. Lost the cachelets under the bridge due to poor footwear choice but I made it through for the find.
A quick find after finding a nearby park. I liked the hide! Cheers.
Found on a nice day for a drive in the country.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

Heading down south for a few days, and what a great opportunity to find some caches on the way! I found it quite hilarious that some people were just starting to climb out of their tents/motorhomes, while I was already on my 8th cache Good placement away from the crowds. TFTC!!
Tftc. Found relatively easy with a friend new to geocaching. Cache in good condition.
Few campers starting to come in, wasn't sure for a start and then saw a likely place. TFTC.
Walked past the campers and dodged the bloke riding his quad bike round and round under the bridge. The cache was a quick find once we got to GZ. TFTC.
The pigeons sure made us jump. Not a difficult one to find just a bit different. TFTC
Pigeons gave us quite a start as we walked in. Great little spot and not that easy to get to!! Enjoyed the chase. Thanks.
I took the road less travelled to avoid the campers, nit that hard.
Cheers and thanks,

I've camped here a few times myself, it is indeed a great spot. And the bonus of a [FTF] makes the visit back here tonight all that much more enjoyable. Cheers
Mrs TGs walk night so not much I could do when this and the other couple got published apart from get the boys showered and ready for bed. Later in the evening when Mrs TG got home I decided, since I haven't been out at night for a while, that an evening caching adventure was required.
It was getting on dark and I didn't want to spook the campers.....so I approached from a slightly unconventional direction! Great fun & a quick find and sign. Cheers!
