Loved the container came in on the wrong side.....but no water in creek so lucky...
Great hide although I don't recommend passing over the creek route. TFTC and a FP!
Raining but surprisingly I was no where near larger amounts of water. Bush bashed a little then I noticed something out of place. Then the hint clicked off in my mind! Glad I did wear my gum boots though. Signed log and returned it. Collecting a few while up here for an event nearby. Very clever! TFTC
After navigating the trees, mud and small creek.made it to the other side and easy find. TFTC
Parked on the wrong side of the creek but managed to jump it then cleared my way through all the spiders with a stick and found a surprisingly well-done cache. Not sure if it is the real thing and the owner has used it to their advantage, or they made it to look like a real one either way a great hide. Fav point for Enginuity.TFTCIronbark.
Fantastic - great hide! Found with 2pods amid thunder & lightning! A favourite from me. TFTC
Lucky the creek is here, casue the housing is taking over. Started on the wrong side, so had to find a safeish way across, which was easy enough. Walked back to gz, and was wondering what that was doing here. Very well done. Love the effort gone into this. TFTC and take a fav.
TFTC and a nice quick find and thank goodness with my short legs I didnt have to do any long jumps across the creek. I got Deni-f to come with me as Im frightened of no legged slipperies in the bush during hot weather.
Boy was this an adventure…
We’ve seen this multiple times before but decided against the bush crash, but today was the day…
We found a path going towards a thinner section of bush and creek and jumped over, then after a long crash of about 70m and we found the cool hide (fp deserving) we signed the log, took some photos and went on our way…
We took a small shortcut through the bush to get out which led to our demise, well actually my demise… After a bit of walking I accidentally knocked my hand into a hive of very grumpy paper wasps . I didn’t realise for a bit but about 5s later I definitely realised but too late… After swatting them off I ran faster than I ever have through grass and bush, leaping through thorny bushes and over logs until I got to the creek crossing where dad got the trusty sting spray out…
After coating my hand/wrist in sting spray I continued the sprint out to the flat grassy area and got to the car and grabbed an instant ice pack and put it on my hand..
Jumped at every flying insect I saw for the rest of the day…

We reversed our plans for the day chasing an FTF in the area, so cached our way from East Maitland through Kurri and Cessnock to Rothbury, nailing 18 finds on the way. It feels like a long time since we picked up so many in our area.
We avoided this for a while, the kids were pretty young, creeks/snakes etc.... Then last year it was rather flooded. We checked again today, went 50m west and found a spot we could jump, then a quick trek to GZ. Great coords and a brilliant hide - it was nice to see a big container, and a perfectly dry, non-waterproof log - thanks to a great construction. Worth the visit. Samuel may not think so, as he was bitten by at least three wasps on the way out! Look out..... TFTC!

Yep - you'll need waders or high gumboots at the moment.... we'll be back before long.....
We had a lot of rain last night and it's just too wet... Hopefully come back another time.
I picked up my muggle friend from Greta she had never cached before. So this was going to be a baptism by fire. we did about 66 along the dog head trail, I did not want to push it to much so we only did a portion of the trail but I think she be back again.
this was the last one together. After dropping off the muggle I picked some more around Branxton. What a great day.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Found with Shaneo58 doing some caching around the Branxton area mainly on the dog trail.
A bit tricky to get to as the creek has some swampy bits to aviod. Thank for the hint.
Log signed and caches replaced as found.

Up in HV for the weekend. Drove up here for a few caches. Parked and made my way across the little creek. Found the cache and SL. Then replaced. TFTC.
Whilst in the area we thought we would take a look at a couple of caches. Found a good place to cross the creek and then on to discover a fantastic hide. Well constructed, TFTC
In all are travels we would not have even thought to traveled to this location.

Caching in the company of GrumpyBump, on our slow, meandering way to the Mega event in Millicent, S.A.
A quick find. The container is well camouflaged. Well done. A favourite.

After 100ml of rain last night think difficulty would be a 5. Didn't need scuba gear but snorkel may be needed if the rain keeps up. Photo of creek that needs crossing. Tftc.
No snakes were seen here, the walk in was interesting and the cache hide is well constructed. A favorite from us. SL TFTC
once we found our way through the creek it was a quick find. TFTC great idea
Couldn’t avoid getting wet shoes today after the rain - the start of our caching adventures for today

Out caching in the area . This was a quick find with accurate co ords but I had to ring Mr Minion to come down from the car to have a look as well as I thought it was clever and he did the opening. Thanks for the cache darthtrader tnln replaced as found sl
Found at 11:52 AM GAFF1.
Skirted around the wet patch and then the cache camo just stood out like the proverbial. Nice to see something like this in the bush.
Interesting information about the horses - whatever happened to them I wonder?
Thanks darth trader

We have set up camp at the Kurri Kurri sports club.
Todays trip was west towards Lochinvar & Braxton, we planned our route to find the most caches.
Tried to find a dry spot to cross but one foot did not reach the opposite bank. Found a very clever container that was worth a FP
A variety of cache types & hides found.
Thanks for placing this cache darth trader

Found with nellc after passing the Beware of Snakes sign and negotiating a path through the swampy ground without getting feet wet. All good cache found in its hide after a short search and nellc going what's that over there.

Do I mess with snakes in the summer or get my feet wet in the winter? Found with Steam koala after finding a way in that was not so wet. The cache was soon found and log retrieved and signed. A very clever hide.
Pulled up opposite this one to see a muggle supervising her kids in the playground ... oh dear! However, cache was well away from where they were, so approached GZ unnoticed. Loved the hide - fav from us. Tftc!
We came across your cache, darth trader, during day one of caching pre-Easter Mega.
What a fantastic cache. Snickersallan led the way in. With the amount of rain through the area lately we had to pick our carefully to avoid very wet feet!!!
Favourite point from us.

Travelling down from Qld for the Oz Geo Muster Event and picking up a few caches whilst staying in the district. This was the last one to find on the list for today and now night caching has began. First thing I saw was a large sign that read 'watch out for snakes' and the compass wanting me to go through the swap to the other side. Finally found a semi dry area to get to GZ without getting my feet wet and as mentioned previously, the hint made sense. A favorite point from me for the beaut camo and hide.

Interesting what can be 10 km away from where you live without knowing. Kids had a great time on the playground... even though it was raining. Found quite easily ... wet feet now.

Late log. Travelling north for Christmas 2016 to visit my Dad (and Touchstone7 was visiting her folks too) and decided to grab a few caches along the way to break up the trip.
This was one of them. Thanks for the cache and the opportunity to see a little bit of the great country we live in.

Happy new year stalkers. Yes it is the first day of a new year and this is my 500th cache so I chose here to mark it. This town is very significant to us as it holds my partner's family plot. We visited it, straightened the flowers, reminisced, had a beer and drove on to here . It was an easy find near a billabong though genghicat did assume initially the naturally fallen bark was suspicious. I left a couple of balls for someone to play with, grabbed the trackable then on to fudge heaven.

There was` a smelly swamp guarding GZ and I didn't have my wellies with me on this 41C day.
I was on my way out for some caching on Broken Back ridge and made a short detour to this one. There were some muggle kids in the new playground but I was out of sight of them by the time I got down to the creek. I loved the camo!
Many thanks for the hide.

Found at 1105. Quite and easy find this was one of those caches the hint doesn't make any sense until you get there. A Fav from me TFTC.
Wow, lots of new development here. Would never have known if it wasn't for a cache here. Quite a few of my childhood school friends came through the hostel here in the 50s. Not too wet underfoot today. A quick and obvious find but wondered if this was already here. Grabbed the coin to move on. Thanks darth trader.
Our last find for the day after a trip to Singleton, whilst staying in the Hunter Valley. What a great camo Cache and looks like a lovely new neighbourhood in the making. TNLN SL TFTC

TFTC was a very swampy walk to GZ. Thank goodness we decided to wear our hiking shoes not just joggers.
Very well made cache! The small trek was very interesting after a bit of rain Cheers!
Thanks for bringing us here DarthTrader
As usual you you surprise us with your great caches

Made a drive out here after work. I was not sure I should be driving on some of those roads, which seemed to be full of chaos and confusion. Arrived safely and took the low road in, which was all wet and I felt like I was standing in sewage, which was nice. Got across and spotted the cache. Nicely made. Took the high road out, which was perfectly dry. Then drove around looking for an empty house with water connected, but could not, so I stank for the rest of the afternoon.
Thanks for showing me this new suburb and the cool cache!

We were having a wander around the Kurri Kurri nostalgia festival and decided that once were done, we would go for a spot of caching.
I mangaged to keep my feet dry by taking a small diversion to find a cleverly constructed cache.

I really enjoy a Darth Trader hide and although this is fairly straight forward it was still a pleasure.
A nicely stocked cache but I took nothing and unfortunately had nothing to leave.
It is a lovely subdivision, someone should buy a block and live there. Overlooking the bush would be perfect.

A fun hide - was stoked to have to drive out here for work this morning so I could pick up all the new caches in the area. Managed to pick my way through the area without getting too wet but could see how you could get a bit damp and muddy after rain. TNLN TFTC
We tried for a FTF but on the way we seen team senz had betten us. We had to go to cessnock anyway so we went for the find any way. A very muddy walk into gz and a very different cache. Found with kingfisher_au Thanks for the intresting cache a favorite point from me.
**FTF**
This is our first ftf in a long time.
We saw the notification come through while fixing some caches of our own. Since we dont cache much anymore we decided to go for it. Once in the area of Huntlee we pulled up 70m away from gz and made our way over.
We were half way across when the ground started getting quite soggy under foot. Mr Senz made his way through the muddy ground by himself until his thongs became bogged and flicked mud straight up his back.
After abandoning the thongs and making the rest of the walk barefooted i arrived at a nicely contructed cache. Thanks for the cache Darth, its a nice one for the upcoming town of Huntlee.
