I checked on this today and still had original logbook but a damaged container. Time to go.Thanks
came with the co. The cache wasn't were it was supposed to be. Found the cache and stuck my finger through the lid. She doesn't want to do maintenance on this cache any more. Broken container removed. I was getting my numbers up to 20 finds in this LGA.Found with Mogni. I think this is the most changed trip in the planning stage that i have ever been on. The " original trip " was supposed to start on the 31st of dec but at the start of decemeber life changed and the trip was now starting on the 26th of decemeber and all accommodation that had booked cancelled and now see what else is free on the ealier dates. A major readjust of plans and got 1/2 the trip booked before the next curve ball came in to alter the plans again. More adjusting the plans again and i realized i could host 2 CITO's in 2 different LGA's in victoria. What we do to qualify for victorian challenge caches. Also i got my 20, 000 cache over in victoria in this trip. It was decided in the end that the 4x4 was going to be the vechicle for this trip that way we could go and target all the caches that you never get, the ones down the sandy/rocky/dirt and forestry roads/tracks. We left Adelaide and headed to Casterton for a couple of days, then to Budj Bim National Park ( and saw 5 koalas in the camp ground high up in the trees ), then over Heywood, a night in Mount Gambier plus there attended the 3rd CITO of the trip before sending a few nights in Millicent and then finally home. Over 250 caches found plus 86 lab caches. Mogni also got her 11th D/T loop. I also got 3 more victorian LGA's up to 20 finds mininium for another victorian challenage cache. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was reaced with a new container and if the logsheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.
Heading home after a successful caching trip to Portland. Just collecting the last few caches in the Southern Grampians LGA for a challenge I'm working towards.
A quick find and log, thanks mogni and Amelia for placing this cache.

Omg when we opened it was so scared there was a fake so rider in it well done first hunt for us
As we headed out to explore the area and enjoy a drive, we managed to get our muggle driver to make a stop or two for us to see if we could add a smile or two, definitely above water level, TFTC and the fun
Found on a lovely winter morning. Very soggy under the stand so had to wheel little red around to find a spot to park even though the lake appears dry.

My first geochace! Very fun had a great time looking for it, thank you for the experience!
SL at 1:10pm. Day trip out with DarthVader69 as I had an appointment in Hamilton. Might as well do some caching in the afternoon. Looking at this area right now, it just looks like Farmer Brown's property, absolutely no water here at all. Would like to see it when it's a lake! TFTC!
Lake Doling Doling was giving the kangaroos a great place to feed and lay around. Thanks for the cache.
A long awaited road trip, originally planned for the Millicent Mega weekend. However due to possible SA border issues, we’re only doing the Vic sections. Joined by Papi4506 & Geoturtle37, RoamingHowie and I are finally on the road to adventure!
Day 6: Hamilton to Home.
No water in this lake, only kangaroos.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, mogni

Day #6 and the final day of the adventure in Western Victoria. All packed up and set for a gradual return home caching along the way. From Hamilton to Melbourne via Dunkeld and some other locations yet to be determined.
A very empty lake here filled with kangaroos. The cache was found quickly at GZ.
Thanks mogni for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

The slasher has been through but we still needed to change shoes to our gum boots to get through the long wet grass. Cache in good shape.
Thanks mogni for the placement.

Having a look around Hamilton with Miss Jane.

Way too tricky, grass and shrubbery too long to safely search, coordinates pointed to tree, could not properly search tree either due to dangerous terrain. Would recommend this cache be moved to a less dangerous and awkward location.

Time to head home after four days of fun, out and about circumnavigating "The Grampians" in the company of our caching friends Suscoe.
A nice break from the highway.
Our thanks to 'mogni' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Accurate coordinates, the hint and a logical hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks mogni and Amelia for the cache.
While staying in beautiful Dunkeld for a week we decided that a day caching and touring around Hamilton was in order.
We laughed at the name of this cache....no lake to be seen, just a big depression. Bet it would look great after heavy rains though
Many thanks for the hide mogni

Didn’t have to worry about the high tide mark here, everything is so dry. Come on Huey send down some rain!!! We were able to locate this cache thanks to good co ords. TFTH mogni and Amelia.
Hi there mogni.
We arrived in Hamilton around lunch-time, and as the day was still young we chose a nearby cache and followed a sort of "next closest" route and cached until we eventually found ourselves back where we started.
We found 7 caches & DNF'd 0 in our cache run today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia. Thanks also for not placing a mint tin or a 200ml Sistema here. It made us feel really good to find this "special" cache here.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Regards
Ian & Penny.

No sign of water in the lake today; found the cache no troubles though.

Good sneaky hiding spot, the lake was dry at this time of year. Keep an eye out for creepy crawlies
A quick find on a coolish morning on a quiet country road. what more can you ask for. TFTC.
We needed to pop over to Hamilton to visit a sick friend of Mr Morris. We left the caravan at the delightful Dunkeld caravan park and travelled across both days.
A scarey little walk into the area - hope they slash here soon.
Thanks for adding to a terrific weekend mogni

Travelling further up the road from the last cache at the railway line we found the Lake dry. A couple of attempts were need to determine where the cache was best accessed from. In the end I thought top down would be better. I swapped TBs as the container was in excellent condition and a reasonable size for hold a TB.
Driver had challenge to find a dry non bogable parking spot. Cache dry and happy. Tftc
Found this cache just before dark. Not long before Rachel_3 had a look by the sounds of it.
Neat little treasure trove of knick-knacks - took nothing, left a paperclip.

Was searching in the dark around 8:00pm, long grass and heard a gun shot so we bailed
On my way to Hamilton for a couple of days caching and stopping for a few quick finds along the way and taking in the local sights.
After checking into the caravan park to sort out my nights lodgings ( and a well earned shower after a Grampians hike and a local kayak cache) i had time for a few more caches before it became dark and then a spot of dinner.
A nice quick find here today, even if it was dark by the time i got here. Just the sound of a few wetland birds to break the silence. Tftc.

Great hide.. signed and left it the way we found it. Luckily we didn’t see and snakes! But make sure you have shoes on! Not thongs
