StreetWalkerNZ and I are leaving the Yorke Peninsula today, destination: Nuriootpa. The weather forecast isn't the best so we left Point Turton by 7:30am in the hope we'd outrun the rain, but it caught up with us while we were doing the Anna Tommy series.Obviously someone with my navigation skills was leading the pod, this is why I mostly do the driving and SW navigates. I found the memorial stones quite moving. TFTC.

#24684. We came here to complete the ad-lab stage, and found this trad as a bonus (furiously swatting away flies in the process). I don't think I've heard of any sperm whale strandings before; I think of them as a species that likes deep water. Interesting memorial. TFTC.

Staying in the camping area for a few days. Great spot and the BEST CHINESE meal from the town. Easy find. T.F.T.C

One thing you'll discover in nature is that "sh*t happens". Eat or be eaten, beach or get beached. I just shook my head at the memorial here for some whales who didn't evolve quick enough to grow legs and walk the land. Cache was found quick and in the first spot naughtybunny and I looked. TNLN. Cheers.

Teamed up with ivss_xx for a few days' caching. On the way back to the big smoke today, finding a few along, mostly picked by ivss_xx. What a sad occasion! The cache was a quick find though. TFTC!!

TFTC Freddo your cache Who had the map? that we found today. We are camped at the Showgrounds in Maitland. After a day in the dust we decided to head toward Ardrossan and stay on the bitumen. We used caching to sightsee. Lovely to explore these towns. Find Count: 17935 .

Out for the day with Margieh to do some maintenance on our caches and placing a few new ones as well and of course we have to grab what ever is close by along the way.We parked here to get the Adventure Lab cache waypoint then drove off without doing the cache so had to come back and do it. Great spot here worth a visit.TFTC Freddo

there is now a lab stage at gz or if you need to be literal, it's 6 meters to the right. quick find and dropped a tb i got in vic.
Recieved a message from Allister W. He was going to go down and meet the co to do " El Castillo del Rey del Mar ", he asked if myself and Mogni wanted to meet him down there on Sunday. Since the 4x4 was still mostly packed from the last trip over to Victoria the answer was yes. We left after work Saturday and drove slowly down targetting large caches, solved puzzles and solving multi's on route and the odd traditional was found. We only got to Pine Point ( damn that place is windy ) before putting up the tent. Sunday the wind mostly had blew itself out and it was caching our way to El Castillo del Rey del Mar and there we meet a group and we all watched Allister W get wet and grab the cache on the 4th dive underwater. Then it was time to return slowly home and via as many caches as possible.

I remember this day like it was yesterday, these magnificent animals unfortunately dying in this spot. The whole town was absolutely shocked to see them.
