Logs
CO check. Extra log sheet in the cache container. All good to go again, StA.
Out with Hibilemon while Little Goat has a kip in the car. As we pulled up to this one we could tell the coords were way off. Had a bit of a look but there was something stinky and dead nearby and we didn't want to stick around, will have to come back another time!
Thank you, this is our 32 Anniversary run. Aiming to get 32 caches today to celebrate 4/32
Out in the PeuGEOt today with Mrs Cogs collecting a number of the goldmine caches around Creswick.Quite difficult to retrieve if you have big hands. Perseverance paid off.TFTC
Spotted this series a while ago and have finally made the trip out.Coordinates were off but went for the obvious.TFTC
Found on a day out caching with Lionjrb. Found quite accidentally roaming round the area. Co ordinates were way out but found and returned safely. Tftc.
Out caching with Lumpyjrb, after looking at the obvious wrong spot we soon made our way to the cache. Thanks for the cache.
The GPS are way out on this one! I found it by looking for places to hide a cache.
Took us quite awhile to find the coordinates are quite out via GPS. And was looking initially on the opposite side of the road.Started to use at Geo senses and finally found it. Its all safe and sound. The mines here are really interesting, especially the far one.TFTC
DNF'd back in November while in the throws of moving to Ballarat. Back today after it had been found a couple of times and managed to grab it this time. GPSr was a little out, however the clue made sense after thinking about it. Thanks again St.A...another interesting area. Cache all good.
the coordinates told me it was in the middle of the road, and the hint was not helpful.
But Really Enjoying Seeing How Many Mines Are Around Creswick And The History Here TFTC

2nd of 2 DNF's for the day. Had a look but didn't manage to spot the cache. Will keep a watch and hopefully someone will make the find soon.
Thanks anyway Saint.Anthony.
Thanks anyway Saint.Anthony.
Checked cache due to recent heavy rains and adjacent roadworks to clear drainage. All good to go, StA

GOOD SIZED CONTAINER

Found with PapaGrouch. We went out for a drive this afternoon to find some caches, this was one of them. This was another that gave me problems, the coords for this one seemed off unlike most of the other caches which were good, and the hint had me scratching my head. I finally spotted the cache so it could be signed and replaced. TFTC
Out adventuring to lose with AlexiKatty and decided to add this smile to my map

TFTC too a bit of searching but I could see where all the trampled grass was and sign had the log signed.
The grass is very long , feels quite shaky. Took a little while to locate this cache TFTC

First week out after lockdown number 2. Spending time in creswick gold detecting and caching. Beautiful area.
Slowly making my way home from a couple of days away helping out a friend and decided to complete some caches along the way. Moving along nicely and logging this series. Lush green paddocks thanks to the winters rain. Thanks for the hide
Omegaman1971
It was great to be back in the area caching and catching up my buddy Rebel Acts.
So many new caches online around Ballarat and Creswick since the last time I was up this way, and awesome to see some lab caches here as well.
Cheers Saint Anthony for the caches and the fun weekend

I had a few days off so plans were made to catch up with omegaman1971 and do some caching around the Ballarat and Creswick areas, We had a great time finding caches in the area and learning about the history of the region. The weather was a little cold but bearable.
Thanks Saint.Anthony for the cache.
Thanks Saint.Anthony for the cache.
Must of mist logging this find when I finally got to log some recent finds after getting to Ballarat. An easy find and the cache was OK. TFTC.
On a day trip to Creswick and beyond to explore the area and of course to Cache our way around .
A cache to tell the story of history with great cache notes .
There are so many mines in this area and wonder where the nearest piece of gold is .
Great work in publishing this series which is much appreciated.

Initially I couldn't find this one, then I found it nearby just sitting out in the open. The cache is safe and well, placed where I think it's meant to be. Tftc Saint.Anthony
This afternoon I decided to head north of Ballarat and clean up a few more of the CDLGM series, I had found some of these previously in September but after a few DNFs I gave up, back today and managed to have the same experience, a few easy going then a string of DNFs then find a few again, I will one day finally finish it all but today wasn’t that day.

All good to go again. Taken off line by mistake. It was Madam Berry West No 1 Mine that needed maintenance, doh!
ATM a long handled gripper is needed to pull this cache back to the surface. I will ask the cleaners at work to borrow one but I will be at least another week before I can return.
Having found a few in the series earlier in the day, we couldn't leave well enough alone and attempted a few more on dusk! The geokids jumped out to find this one, and as the sun was starting to rapidly set, they had fun with the torches finding this one! Good sized cache was in hands quick enough while the sheep on the other side of the road were noisily trying to get our attention! We are loving this series Saint.Anthony and appreciate all the effort gone in here! TFTC, TNLNSL, CIGC
Newstead Day 3
Todays trip was around the mining area as far south as Creswick. We came accross some amazing caches & locations, a really enjoyable day.
The weather started quite bad, rain jackets & beanies to keep warm. The unsealed roads were good to drive on as we kriss cossed the country side. Learnin a little about the area as we went.
Thanks for placing this cache Saint.Anthony

Berry good history to go with these caches
There's still some mining going on here !! [:o]
A digger was loading dirt onto some mechanical contrivance,
which spewed grey sludge out the top !!

We arrived from NZ yesterday evening to spend a couple of nights in Daylesford. It’s been just over 3 years ago since we were last here, and it’s good to be back.
With the two hour time difference I was awake early this morning so I decided to get full use out of the rental car and headed out to re-acquaint myself with the area, and find a few caches along the way. Despite the drizzly weather I spent a most enjoyable couple of hours re-discovering the country roads I remembered quite well from last time. Some of the caches I remember finding last time have gone, but there were certainly lots of new ones to look for.
Cheers and TFTC

Away for a long weekend of caching with Freddo and Four Fun.
Over 300 caches in 4 days means that the logs will be mainly generic.
The main target of our mission was to finish off the Mt Disappointment series. We achieved our target along with other caches as we headed east and then west.
My apologies for the generic logs.

Away for an extended long weekend of caching with Freddo and Team Waldron.
The main target was the Dad's Driving Series, and it was definately a fun exercise collecting the series but with that completed we focused on some other caches and making our way back to SA, very slowly [^]
This was one of the fun stops along the way
Cheers & TFTH Saint.Anthony

Logging a find as part of the 4FW crew for this interesting series. A lot of work has gone into putting this series together. All caches were found and logged on a beautiful day.
This was a nice quick find which was great as that wind is not letting up. Thanks for the cache.
I think an early morning get up, and a belly full of sugar lollies kinda kicked in here. But we were very thankful for a great run of hides and quick finds.
