could not find. two first timers attracted a lot of stares. will try and look again in future, hopefully find it then
We decided to spend the afternoon doing a few local caches. This one was found by geo nieces partner. Nearby neighbours on a trampoline were curious as to what we were doing. We waited till they weren’t looking then signed the log.TFTC.
A nice quick find on the way home from work before the rain hits. Lucky it was easy as there were lots of people doing footy training and I just hid behind the trees for cover. Thanks.
Found at 2:18 PM GAFF1.
No one around here today, so I could walk straight upto GZ and spot the quirky little hide with the totally mashed up log sheet inside Took a while to sort that mess out!
Thanks b l u e s t o n e s

We started in this park for a shopping spree and while waiting for the bus to arrive JMorg and myself bolted off to the nearest cache. Interesting hide for this environment but we found it so all good. Thanks
Arrived for a shopping spree before the bus, so time for a quick cache hunt. Fairly quick find. Thanks for the fun
Walking from Springvale to Olinda, this cache happened to b along the way. Quick find, head high. Tftc
There’s been some recent arborist activity and I was a bit concerned the cache might have been affected, but no, it was still in place! Nice hide. TFTC!
found!! Having a fun night out with friends, took us a bit, very good first cache for my friend!
Very easy even in the dark thank you very much for this having a great night on a chilly June July make that July evening
After having lunch with the family nearby, we took a little detour heading home. We parked nearby. Only the little geokid was eager to help me search for this one. There were a few muggles kicking the footy on the oval but they did not take much notice of us wandering around aimlessly among the pines. The mobile GPS wasn't playing ball today so it was a process of elimination. Eventually I spotted the odd one out and extracted the cache. Log signed and replaced. Unfortunately for little geokid no room for swaps on this one.

First find of 9 for the day on an adventure with non-caching Geo-Nephew.
Found by my youngest Geo-Kid who then ‘pretended’ he hadn’t seen it so that his cousin could ‘find’ it.

Parked the car in a nearby street and a short walk into the park. Geowife spotted the cache quickly on approach. A clever cache container that was well thought out. Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks bluestones

Out with BoabTree, we planned the day to start with the gadget series in Lysterfield Park.
We completed the series and moved on to find some more caches. We headed for the pines. The prize was soon spotted and signed. Thanks b l u e s t o n e s.

Echidna44 and Boabtree spotted the necessary pines and went beyond them. A check of the GPS revealed that beyond was too far, we actually wanted the middle of the pines. We backtracked and found the cache, great camo. Log signed, all good and on to the next cache. We are unstoppable.
This obsession seems to take one to places where you would not normally visit. This park / playing field is no exception. The gps took me to the middle of nowhere particular except tall pines trees. Pine trees are not Melaleuca trees. But with lots wandering around and observation the prize was discovered. SL TNLN. Thanks bluestones for a walk in another discovered park.
Been here once before and couldn't find it for the life of me. Tried again today, with no muggles being a hot day. Great little hide.
Retrieved the cache nice and easily then a muggle couple came and sat on the grass nearby so I just acted like I was supposed to be there and they paid no attention as I returned the cache. It is a tight fit and there are lots of bits of paper. This one does need a clean up as the cache is hard to put back. Clever
Thanks b l u e s t o n e s for the cache.

The description is right about there being plenty of muggles around, but luckily I found this cute hide quickly. Thanks b l u e s t o n e s.

After some business made me leave the house after dinner, I decided to kick on and find a cache or several. This was an area that I'd not cached in for a while, so a far build-up of unfounds existed.
This one took me quite a while to locate in the darkness as I was working in preconceptions that were not valid. I expanded my search radius until I had exhausted the possibilities and I eventually returned to the indicated GZ to make the find.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

It’s International Geocaching Day and we had a milestone coming up so it seemed to be the perfect synergy that after basketball nearby, and in between the rain and hail, the sun shone and we found this lovely little cache, our 800th on the 18/8/18
Thanks b l u e s t o n e s for making it possible and for the fun find.

800 For #SEALTeam4. Cute little cache might steal the idea with he way the cache was built.
Looking, looking, looking...
Doh! Now, that’s a hide!
In your face!
Getting it back together was a chore.

TFTC! Good spot and right near our local shops all these years! Day 1 of our family geocaching! Thankyou. Last person added more paper so plenty of spots to log now.
Tried to approach from the wrong direction so had to navigate the geo-loppy around to a quieter place to rest. With the weather so pleasant today their were a few fitness muggles out doing there thing on the nearby sporting arena. Paying no attention to me, I wandered over to GZ where I made a quick but interesting find. This cache was a little bit different but a cache all the same, so with our name now in the book it was time to reassemble the cache. Took a few goes to fold and roll it just right. TNLNSL. TFTC. Excellent hiding spot. Found on a late afternoon walk with the light fading fast! TFTC
The third of four finds as I meandered my way home from visiting mum for a slightly delayed Mother's Day visit tonight.
I've always had a soft spot for pine trees - something kind of weird and other-worldly about wandering through a mostly silent pine forest or plantation when it's still, and as a kid a friend had a tree house platform in one and I'd sit up there listening to the lonely sound of the wind through the needles and branches, a sound like no other tree.
These particular pines aren't exactly a forest, but in the dark late at night they were enough to remind me of other times and places... And there were just enough of them to play merry hell with my GPS, which jumped around 10-15m every time it was ready to settle.
In the end I fell back on caching instinct, which is a bit hit and miss for me at the best of times, but tonight it was spot on, and after circling a likely candidate I spotted something so seemingly out of place I almost did a cartoon-style double-take. Surely that couldn't be it...?
But it was, and so I quickly signed the log and headed back to the car, humming a refrain from an old traditional folk song:
"My girl, my girl, don't you lie to me
Tell me where did you sleep last night
In the pines, in the pines
Where the sun don't ever shine
I would shiver the whole night through"
Thanks for the cache, b l u e s t o n e s.

Quick find after visiting friends at Boronia Bowls. TFTC and bringing me here. Unique cache!!!
This took me far longer than it should have. I focused too much on what I thought I was looking for. It was just stating to rain when I thought I may have to give up but then bingo! There it was.
