On an west to east and back roadtrip... Today in Swan Hill to get a few things done. After following the rising water along the Murray yesterday we headed out to this area this morning to see what was 'up'. To our eye, another inch or 2 overnight. Walked alongto GZ from our vantage point, where the hint led me to a clever hide. Thanks for the find Sparra0907
Very nicely obscured.Could see this one easily missed at a quick glance over things.TFTC
12130 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1040. After a DNF back in 2016 it was time today to put this one to bed smiling. SL Tnx Sparra0907
Didn't find it

A DNF for baby&Mrs gopher. Even with a hint from a previous finder it was a no go for us.

No need for any today as this cache is still there. Right in its correct spot even after the big flood waters had been near it. Its just sitting there waiting to have its log-book signed by the next finder. Thanks and Cheers. The CO.
A visit to Swan Hill in the warmth after another cool spring down south. Many thanks for the cache.
As this cache has not been found for a while, we thought we would go for a drive to get out of lockdown. And, well the cache is still there. All in good condition and all nice and dry and just waiting to be located when the weather is a bit better. Cheers. The CO.
Found on 27 February 2021 at 12:33:55 pm. Another nice location on my get away break . Thanks for the adventure Sparra0907!
Looking at heading up this way only to be told "we've found those, they are probably more that you haven't logged". As it turns out, that is exactly what has happened. I was caching with OzHockeyChick, RoamingHowie and Papi4506 who have thankfully mentioned me in their log so I know I was present at this find. I have also logged it on the day of the find from their logs. Thank you for the cache and huge apologies for not doing it earlier.
As we headed towards GZ, we were all a little concerned about where that was going to be. We read previous logs and the first few didn't allay our fears any. We were very careful about where we searched. The cache was eventually revealed on the public side of the fence. . . . . just. Thanks for the worry and the cache.

Day eight of a camping road trip with Papi4506, Geoturtle37 & RoamingHowie.
Exploring all around the greater Swan Hill area today.
Always good to have a find after a few dnfs. A bit close to private property but still ok to find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, Sparra0907

The geocaching holiday continues with OzHockeyChick, Papi4506 & GeoTurtle37. We finally made it to Swan Hill after an epic drive (100kms in 6hrs). Today is the first day exploring the hill.
Always good to have a find after a DNF. The cache is on public land despite previous log concerns, although close. Almost overthought this one.
Thanks Sparra0907 for placing the hide!

Too close to private property for my liking. Does the owner know about the cache?
Even with a healthy hint from a PAF i wasn't daring venture too close to no doubt what is or seems like Private Property [:o] [These and playground hides are usually on my "Void List" or just "Don't Go There" list] [:o] coz i'm not one for interrogations by the lower form of human...... The 'Muggle' ha ha
A DNF for me...... permanently i'm afraid, or unless the owner of the land comes out, aware of the hide and plays "Hot and Cold" with me... that would be awesome ha ha
Thanks for the challenge anyways, but i'll shelve this one. . . . . for now [v]

In contrast to yesterday, which was quite warm, today we battled a cold wind and some heavy rain squalls as we cached our way around the area north west of S.H. in the very good company of Suscoe. A variety of caches such as this, taught us more about this part of Victoria.
Like other seekers we can't help but wonder if this cache is in fact actually on private property!
Thanks 'Sparra0907' for adding this cache to the game board.

Suscoe and Phetlern were continuing their Swan Hill adventure this morning.
The weather took a change overnight and we woke to cooler temperatures and a cloudy sky.
Rain was also on the horizon and so a quick start was had to see how far we would get on the list for today.
Thanks to Sparra0907 for this hide, glad we did it before the rain today.

Swan Hill Day 2 staying on the riverside.
It was after lunch when we decide to cross the border into NSW & out to Murray downs where we had visited last night. It looked a lot different in the day light. It was then back to VIC & a drive along the edge of the Murray, such a good way to visit the area.
Glad this had a hint or it would have taken some time to find, coords seemed to be on private property. Reached through the fence to get it.
The cache locations were varied & a variety of containers found.

Ventured to Swan Hill for the long weekend. Was a bit worried with how close I was getting to private property with this one but soon had cache in hand and was out of there. The landscape around here is so nice! The nearby field lush and green and river flowing well. TFTC
Continuing along the River Road caches with Mrs Perpetuallylost at the wheel enjoying some mild bush-bashing. Initially we almost walked too far following the gps until i noticed the Private Property signs. Then read the hint, lifted the only loose cap and was greeted by a rather large spider! Eventually found where the cache was hiding and signed and returned. Enjoying these parts of the river, some nice houses in the area too! Thx Sparra
Sure is a lovely view.... we stayed nice and quiet to not disturb the neighbors here! TFTC
Despite this cache's reputation of DNF's,
including one by me
I headed back today for another look
And guess what !!??
A quick and easy find
Looks like the neighbours have done some gardening here and tidied up GZ a bit

This is my first geo that I have found, here's to many more adventures, starting today.
We have been out and checked on this cache again this morning.....and it is still there, all nice and safe and dry just waiting to be found. Thanks & Cheers. The CO.
In Swan Hill for an event with Mrs. Aussie M&M and mogni. To save space, we simply put our group stamp of GOTHS (Geocachers Of The HillS) in the logs.
Damnation. Two in a row. You pwned us noobs..again. The River road was closed so we decided time to head to town for some lunch instead.
Thanks Sparra0907 for the search.

Went out today and checked on this cache as there had been a few DNF's recently. Well it is still there in it's original spot and all nice and dry and just waiting to be found. Thanks & Cheers CO.
A DNF for baby&Mrs gopher. Even with a hint from a previous finder it was a no go for us.
Another great hide. Glad to wipe it off the list also!! Thanks for the cache. To hot to be out and about today.
