#12,320. I was staying at my sisters place at Leeston and decided today I would head to Banks Peninsula to do the CANZ cache but picking up a few on the way. Stopped here to check out the big boots. Lucky I went the direct approach as the area has a lot of boxthorn. But soon spied the cache and had a chuckle. Signed the log and put the cache back as found. Thanks busy paws for setting this one up.
Really wish I had my "big boots" on today instead of these soaking socks and sneakers!
It wasn't raining when I left Chch, but it certainly is out here now!"
Despite the rain, I can't pass up the opportunity to grab a few interesting caches on my way to Okains Bay for a few days to stay with my partner and his daughter, Wtiger1717 while they camp there for a week.
V. Cute cache indeed!
Thanks for another fun hide busy paws

I didn't know the song or the film but then I haven't seen any of the 30+ movies he made. I lived too far from the cinema in 1960s rural Hertfordshire, UK. As of now tho, I've seen a YouTube version of Wooden Heart, (which I did know), from the same film. After not being able to access a couple of caches yesterday because of flooding, I was concerned about the access to this one, but then it was not an issue! Thanks busy paws.
Found on a nice drive in the area. Don't know why I haven't got this one before. Driven past it lots of times
Out and about on Banks Peninsula today managed to grab a cache here there when time permitted. Got this one on the return trip - very cool cache! TFTC.
Having a long weekend and decided to head up to Christchurch to meet friends. The rest of the weekend was spent geocaching, grabbing many of the puzzles solved during lockdown.
This was my second day going out and finding some great caches to fill in some challenges and complete some fun series.
All good here.
***[======== NZ Mega 2020 ========](http://nzmega.com)***
[NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) is definitely happening, but has been postponed until 2021. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 22 to 25 October 2021. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20+ years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!
Cool hide, very close to the gates to the property, so I hope the owners are happy about the placement. The dog was getting overly excited about my presence, but no issues finding the cache. TFTC!!
Until the viral lockdown is lifted, my geocaches are disabled. Any logs will be deleted. DO NOT Geocache currently.
I'm going to have to ask Dr Google about this song. I suspect the tune will be familiar but I've just never caught up with its name. Not quite what I was expecting at GZ but made me smile. TFTC .
Not quite what I was expecting here. You wouldn't want to be on a three day tramp thats for sure. TFTC # 14,490
Spur of the moment day out to Akaroa with Geo cache friends. What a cute cache, boots too small for me but I loved them. Thanks for this cache busy paws, a fav from us as made us smile plus bonus amazing bird song. Awesome

Looks like the sign for the cafe has gone so no issues with muggles, although the local fox terrier was very interested in us. TFTC
I had driven back along Summit Rd to re-visit the last couple of caches I found yest, looking for sunglasses - no luck; this cache was close to my journey back to the city.
No sign of any nearby activity today -perhaps it is seasonal?
Thanks for the cache, busy paws.

A well established geo trail and good coordinates made for a nice quick find here. Great little cache. TFTC
Some yappy dogs across the road wouldn't be quiet but thankfully no one came out to see what was making them bark. Loved the container.
Today was a low number day. I also wanted to qualify for a challenge in Blenheim. It is to find 100 different geocaches by 10 different COs. I aimed to find my 100th Busypaw geocaches today. This was my 100th.

The weather is not that great and would not use these boots on a day like today. So luckily we made it a quick find and continued our journey to grab a few caches in the area. TFTC
Heading to Akaroa for a few days holiday......feeling happy that the rain has stopped and the sun's shining. Very cute little cache! Tftc
Out on a Sunday drive to put me into space

10 May 2017 17:04. These boots still have some growing to do. TFTC and the giggle busy paws.
Day two of my Caching trip to Canterbury. Even the weather came to the party today. TFTC
Found on our way to Little River for the weekend with "richbritty" and Mrs Graemey (UK).Neat cache although we started on the wrong side of the hedge to start with but got there in the end. TFTC-Nice Hide.
Found on the way to Akaroa. The main road is busy but this road is nice and quiet. Love the cache container. TFTC
StreetWalker and I set out earlyish on a warm Sunday morning to bike along part of the rail trail (and find some caches ). It was pretty quiet on the road, so took the time to do a short detour along this side road to pick up the three caches along it.
As it was the first stop of the day, I had yet to fire up my GPSr,. By the time it had found enough satellites, SW had found the cache and all I needed to do was sign the log book. TFTC.

#13673. Loved the cache holder. The dead branches obstructing the route to GZ were annoying, so on the way out I broke some of the branches off. TFTC.
2nd of 6 finds on my trip to Little River to get chook food. This was a VERY quick find - not sure if there's been some pruning, but I spotted the cache from the car.

Second to last for the day for a cache we should have got on the way to Littleriver not back. At some point I switched of Traditional caches showing on the GPS and only when we got close to Little river did I notice. Cache was a quick find and a cool themed hide it is.
I saw an obvious spot from the road so made a beeline for it. Horrified wasn't there, wrong spot. Checking the name I found it. Love this!!!
drive in sunday today. found the cache in good condition. thanks for the box, rolofant
Decided to do this loop road as we had never been up here before. That's what we like about this activity. A brisk winters day with plenty of bird song around. TFTC
A beautiful day for a walk so son and I thought we'd have a wander up this road and find a few caches. This one was a quick find. Gets a favourite from us for the creativity. TFTC.
TFTC. On holiday and I was just waiting for a break in the weather to get out and about. The target today was modest - pick up a few caches on the way to Diamond Harbour and beyond where I was seeking a few solved puzzles from the D/T series. I was in the company of The Cornish Tin Miner and Weasley Hound, Caching Secret Weapon In Training. As happens in my caching things don't always go to plan.
This is my favourite road back to ChCh from Motukara so it was cool to find 3 caches down here take needed by signature in the log.
Thanks buzy paws for placing this well themed cache.

Enjoying holidaying down South with tmann421. More wet weather today.
A nice quick find for us and a fun camoed hide. TFTC

Out on a mission to sign off a number of caches on the SW side of Banks Peninsula. Ha ha. I guess the boots were big for someone once. TFTC
have been skunked by two of your caches. Not your fault, but some of the bridges look a little intimidating for someone who has been known to topple. However, this was a terribly fun cache and easy to get to. I really enjoyed those big boots--a surprise!
Café was closed so no issues with muggles or parking. Thanks fir another placement, found this one pretty quickly.
The elephant tracks didn't stop us from getting tangled in the branches. Another busy paws clever container. Our best wishes to Mrs Wangler hope all goes well. TFTC
Geocaching in style!!! We were heading into hospital this morning to start Mrs TW's radiation treatment and this one popped up onto the radar. Mrs TW suggested we head out, thanks my girl! We bought a new ride for the next stage of our journey and took it out today for a drive. We filled up in Tai Tapu and had a laugh as it only cost $30 to fill, olden days kind of fill up. I was watching the temperature gauge closely. It was good thankfully. We got to GZ and I was able to corner the fun, colourful cache quickly. I was greeted with a blank log book too, nice one! {FTF} at 9.30ish. Good fun, now for a wee drive to Oncology. Good work busy paws!!!
Thanks for the cache busy paws.

Stopped off on a lunchtime adventure with the Lincoln crew (myself, KarmaReprint & KiwiMoose)....no online logs at that stage so we thought we were in with a chance; but no...beaten by a very Stylish Mr & Mrs TW......cheers. I'm liking the sound & looks of the new cache mobile?! LOL....overheating & fuel might be a problem with some of our missions though?! ha ha ha ha.....
Wow ! Elephant tracks already. Such a delicate little container and a fun hide. Thanks.
There was nothing logged online so we three Lincoln Lads thought we were in with a grin. However, a cacher with a much classier ride than ours appears to have done the deed a few hours earlier. Good on ya Tim! Cheers
Still unlogged on line so the Lincoln Lads cruised along to see if we could finish of the lunchtime mission with a FTF. Unfortunately, we were 2tf, but fortunately under the circumstances the ftf couldn't have gone to a more deserving bloke. All the best guys, thinking of you.
Thanks BP for the cache. Cheers.
