A quick find whilst travelling to and around Carpenter Rocks today, on a very windy day....It was on ground again, so put it back up with some rocks to hold it...TNLNSL Thanks
Stayed here all weekend without knowing there was a cache right beneath us . What a awesome find .
It was on the ground blown from it's spot put it where we thought it would go?
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on. SA caching foray. Staying in Mount Gambier for a week to grab some of the local hides. Its been sixteen years since since we were last here so enjoying the re-visit. Love the country road hides. Thanks for the hide
We are travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. This is our last day in Beautiful Mt Gambier. Thanks to all the CO for placing geocaches in the area, we have had fun chasing them down. Nice old piece of history here. TFTC. LNCU.
We looked everywhere even using clues all we found was a pen so we decided to take it
A week away exploring the area with 2beez. Today we popped down here for the day to visit LeeLee's family who are fishermen here. Having travelled here for many years, LeeLee remembered when the old road use to divert. Not necessarily over the bridge but still around it. Today this intersection is much safer.
Thanks travellinbees for placing for all to enjoy. A quick find here.

Southern Autumn adventure Day 8. Post Mega South East SA trip Day 2. After a driving day yesterday to wrap up the mega weekend, today was a trip from Mount Gambier down to the southern coast line with Sol de Lune, Smitten Granny, Fitzy_1965, MinnieK and me (albida33). F.A.M.S.S was the initial in the logs today. Our goal in this region was to visit the two old caches out this way and a few others that are nearly as old. We also managed about ten Earth caches and even went for a walk or two. We ended the day with caching and LABs around Mount Gambier before retiring for a home cooked meal at the caravan park.
After lunch, we just had to stop for one more cache out this way before heading back to Mount Gambier via a few more key cache locations.
Thanks for the cache travellinbees

30,535. Found with minniek, albida33, Sol de lune, smittengranny (signing either as FAMSS or MAFSS to save room and just for fun). After the hordes around Rutherglen it was good to drop down to a group of 5.
Rutherglen Mega and South Australia Trip Day 7. Today we had a full day to explore around the Mt Gambier region, with a few older caches targeted plus many others on our list. We started heading along the south coast which was spectacular to see. This was an interesting location. A quick find at GZ. Signed, replaced, then we headed off to the next one on our list.
Thanks travellinbees !!

Day 7 of our loop through Vic and SA then home.
Today was our first day caching with albida, Sol de lune & smittengranny. We signed as MAFSS to save room. Some of us may have rebelled and signed FAMSS instead. It was a bit dreary and windy but we didn’t get too wet.
The aim was to collect a couple of counties, old caches to finish my Ausmer calendar, and just to have fun.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Headed to Mount Gambier after the Rutherglen Mega with fitzy_1965, Albida33, Minniek, and Smittengranny. We signed all logs as FAMSS.
We targeted a few older caches, a few multi's, a few puzzles always as well as a couple of earthcaches.......and really anything else we had time for.
Took the drive out for this one and a few others in the area, making for a fun drive in a remote-ish area.
Thanks for the fun travellinbees...

Today there were two cars of geobuddies travelling around this area collecting a variety of caches based on age, type and favourites. It was an incredibly successful day and thanks must go to all COs for placing such interesting and sometimes challenging caches. This was one of the caches we found and all were signed either as MAFSS or FAMSS , as the group consisted of minniek, Albida33 Fitzy_1965, Sol de Lune and myself Smittengranny.
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE

Found while on a run. Thought this would be a nice spot for a cache...and it turned out it was!
We are enjoying a lovely few days in Nelson and have been venturing west to explore the south east corner of SA.
Today we parked up on the beach and enjoyed the beautiful waters.
Prior to heading back to camp we paid the bridge a visit. The cache was at a great height to send the geo son in. We look forward to returning again to further explore the area in the nit to distant future

I have been Geocaching for the last year as part of team Dromaniax. We have enjoyed the Geocaching caching around a lot of Victoria in that time. From our first trip up to the Murray River, the next trip to Lake Eildon and the area around Buxton, an epic trip to the Little Desert to attack the This is SA series, then a great trip with our father to the High Country in Victoria, a trip to the Mornington Peninsula and a trip to the Albury-Hume Reservoir area.
I finally decided to set up my own account and am claiming all the caches I have found as part of Dromaniax.
Thank you for this Traditional cache travellinbees

With the temperature hitting 40°C and the metre high grass growing right up to the bitumen, we had to pick and choose the caches we found today, as we headed toward the beach .
After lunch, we headed out here to pick up a couple more caches before calling it a day .
Happy for a quick find, as the heat was beginning to take its toll [xx(].
TNLNSL.
Thanks Travellinbees.

Owl was in Mount Gambier, acting as uber driver for her parents. Having dropped Ostrich and Magpie off to a family event she and Bowerbird went caching to fill in the time. The Mount was soggy so they headed to the coast. This was a quick find in a kind location at an interesting spot.
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
Today is the Geohusbands birthday. I made him go caching I think he enjoyed it. He helped me find 2 caches and did all the driving.
All up around 28 finds for the day. We drove through the forests, we saw a few speeding Roos. There were a zillion lady birds they were incredible. Also lots of butterflies. Lovely.
Then back to Tantanoola for lunch. Off to Millicent for extra supplies and then onwards to Carpenters Rocks the fog rolled in and now we are sitting surrounded by fog. Birthday BBQ and bubbles next on the agenda.
Quick up and under and found TFTC

Plans had been made for a weekend away to find the This is SA series of caches in Little Desert. We had planned that AusFox;, Sims_family and my muggle brother. Unfortunately for AusFox;, caught the dreaded Vids and wasn't up to the weekend. So my muggle brother and I headed off for a long weekend of camping and caching. We were looking for a campsite for the night and checked the one out here. It looked OK, but then we wound down the window and decided to search elsewhere. T s is a lovely old bridge that is in exceptional condition given it hasn't been used for over half a century. The cache is in excellent condition Tha k you for this cache travellinbees.
First find of the day with The Teddies before tackling the Canunda Trail. Placed a traceable in the cache
An interesting spot. Nice old bridge.
Cache found easily. Signed the log in one of the many gaps.
Thank you for the cache.

We had just come back to our accommodation after a huge day of caching, but there was always time for one more that the others had found on a previous visit, so Gizmo's Gang and I went for a little walk and I descended and soon had the cache.
Love seeing these old structures.
Thanks for the cache travellinbees.

Day 2 of the mega trip, start off with the crayfish power trail followed by a trip to beachport for some lab caches then off to help some others find a few caches. And why not finished the day with a 40km 4wd on the coast line.
Thanks for the cache

When we came into Carpenter Rocks a few days ago, I saw this bridge and thought it would be the perfect place for a cache - but don't we always get those thoughts?!
Little did I know there actually WAS a cache here!
Today, Heymissjo, the 3 Minis and myself stopped by for the smiley before we broke camp and headed up the coast to Kingston SE.
The weather was much better today with hardly any wind and even some sun breaking through the thin clouds.
I let the rest of the family do the searching for this one while I read the information boards and took a few photos. During the course of the search, it looked like they were posing for a rock band album cover! And somewhere along the line, Geo-Bug made the find.
Thanks so much, travellinbees.

First cache for the day before The Welder, our minis and I head further north up the coast. It has been great camping nearby for the past two nights and enjoying the nearby sites. A nice quick find once at gz. Thanks for the cache.

I originally found this cache with my Mum heymissjo, but now that I have my own account, I am logging. Thanks for the cache.
For the past few years I have cached as part of "team heymissjo", but now I am old enough to have my own account so logging the find. Thanks for the cache.
Cool spot, have driven past so many times and have never visited before, interesting piece of history.
A lovely old one - glad we are not driving over it.
A quick find and log.
Thanks to travellinbees and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
So we did it, we took the plunge and early last year made arrangements to sell our little hobby farm in South Gippsland and ‘do a big lap’.
No full lap is complete without a lap of the little island first.
So after tidying up our affairs and putting everything into storage, we celebrated Christmas with our families and hit the road.
We recently spent 7 magnificent weeks in beautiful Tasmania, then we just did a quick trip down the west coast of boring old Victoria, making our way to South Australia, crossing the border before Covid strikes again.
Looking forward to slowing things down as we spend time in SA with no return date planned.
Thanks for being one of the CO’s who supplied us with a cache to do on the way.
This one was most enjoyable.
A long weekend away with sir_spectre. Lots of 4WDing and for me getting those caches that I had been hoping to get to one day.
Thanks to travellinbees from mogni
