Parked up at the nearby dog reserve this morning before heading off for a bike ride today. First cache of the day, had to use a cheeky local ToTT to retrieve and then replace back at the appropriate height, TFTC
Vistra and I are in Blenheim for a few days and today we did a cool cycle tour of a few of the local wineries in the area. We found this cache while cycling between vineyards. TFTC!
TheLandGirl and I are in Blenheim for a few days and today we undertook a cycle tour of some of the wineries in the area. We found this cache while cycling around the area. TFTC!
I went on a tour on the e-scooter to clean up some local geocaches. I am impressed with some of the new caches in the area. TFTF
No trouble retrieving the cache and returning it to the same location. Arf, arf. TFTC.
Out cyclocaching around Renwick. Rode right past this one initially as the cache icon was hidden beneath another in my gps. Had to double back from up near Capperz Enlightened Multi. Easy peasy, feet never left the ground.
**20,315**We didnt realise they had monkeys at the SPCA, fortunately Mr Geckoh is part monkey so the cache was an easy retrieval. TFTC
Was on a ride home and decided we’d do a quick stop , found easily with a bit of height
Got off a bit early from work and headed out for some caching. Beautiful sunny day but got cold once the sun had set. Managed 22 finds and 1 DNF. Was dark by the time I got here but a good torch and clear hint made for a quick find. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley
We are on a 3-week camper van holiday on the South Island, but today we are traveling by bike around a few of the many wineries. However, this one was right on our route, so how could we not stop?? Thanks for the info and bit of history about the location.
KR had this one already but while he was scoping the multi, I dealt to this traditional. Well, almost as he had to help anyway as it was too far for me. The last of the day and back to the Top10 and home to Christchurch tomorrow. Thanks for the cache.
Found once again, really like this one. Log books a little empty though, still has my last visit
The dogs made a lot of noise but we didnt need to go near them for an easy find. TFTC
Found with squirt88. Thankfully had a taller muggle with us to retrieve it as was just out of our reach. Tftc.
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland for our family Christmas. Today are cruising to Nelson via Duncan Bay. A new place for us to visit. Please excuse the generic logs, there have been a few finds and they get muddled up sometimes.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on wet or plastic logs)
*We soon had another good cache located, now onto the next one!*
Soon had the right height!

Nice to be away on another geocaching trip with tmann421, travelling to a few places in the upper South Island.

Had to put on my climbing shoes for this one. Grabbed it and quickly did the paper work before replacing in the same location. Maybe terrain should be raised a little?
(# 6227). Day 13 of my South Island odyssey. Today is getting some caches from Greymouth to Blenheim as well as having a good look around. A quick find. Everything in order. Being tall I made it even taller. There has to be some challenge in retrieving this. TFTC
I'm way to short for this one!!... with some assistance from the umbrella in the car we soon had the log signed. TFTC
We sort of stumbled upon this cache as we had turned down this road to have a look at the multi. We decided the grass was too wet to sort that out, then saw this one just a bit further away so headed for this instead. cache spotted from a distance so a dry route was picked through the grass and cache retrieved. tftc
First time out geo caching since lockdown. Great way to spend the afternoon. TFTC
We came here for Capperz Enlightenment but just had to snag this one while we were here. So with my trusty gloves and handy dandy wipes we get this one tagged and tucked back in. Cheers
Its Saturday and time to head for the hills with Lake Challis in on our radar for today. Raphael, my lock-down house guest, is along for the ride as we trail the Seagnoid Mobile up Staircase Road. Bummer! 14km from Lake Challis we get stopped by a tree across the road. OK plan B? Rimu Falls. Yes! so we u-turn and head up Bartlets Creek, only to come across a locked gate. OK a walk in these them hills is off the menu and when we later stop at North Bank we find the whole of Richmond Range is CLOSED. DUH, should have stopped there first. So we cache back along North Bank Road to SH6. Then target a few Capperz caches in the vicinity, before they disappear. Then a walk around Grovetown Lagoon to finish the day off. We have both enjoyed our day out.

After checking the movement of rain clouds, we packed up and decided to head north for a few days' adventure! I had all active geocaches I have not found yet in the South Island loaded on the GPS, but not particular plan as we only decided that morning. We ended up finding quite a few cool caches and had heaps of fun! The doggies were onto us! TFTC!!
Found with Ulmuslynx on this chilly morning
Four legged muggles watching us.
Thank you for the cache

Mommy found it while I was being distracted by some doggos playing in the yard thing. WARNING: The domesticated animals near this cache may cause serious disruption of caching by going 'BARK BARK YAY A BALL MY FAVE!!!' TFTC
As spacenarwhale and I were beginning our search a helpful young lady came out from the SPCA to see if perhaps what we were looking for had been handed in to them. We said we were on a scavenger/treasure hunt, but thank you anyway. We quickly made the find, signed the log and returned to the height at which we'd found it. As we sat in the car planning our next stop we heard an excited voice from over the fence say, "I didn't know there was one so close!" and a keen, lapsed cacher came out with 2 muggle colleagues to find it herself. Welcome back to geocaching, Snoopy's Monkey's!
Thank you for the cache.
Thank you for the cache.
Out and about with son. Time for tea. Speedway is on but access no longer available Foxes Island road
A message from a recent finder alerted me to a near full log, so while I was in the area today on a non-geocaching mission, I took the opportunity to swap out the log book. I must admit finders are out-doing each other in replacing the cache and it has certainly suffered from some vertical 'cache creep' since I placed it.
All good to go again a little higher than when originally placed but a little lower than when I found it today.

3rd of 3 finds this morning on a 5km loop. A bit trickier because my gps showed me the other side of the metal road. Could have been the interference from above.
Our last few days on holiday, enjoying the sun, the caches.
Thanks to all the cache hiders. Many thanks.

Over to Blenheim to drop StreetGamer at Woodbourne for onwards delivery to his cadet camp in Auckland, so my ‘reward’ was to get some caches whilst over the hill.
I don’t know if the nearby residents were alerted to my arrival but there was much barking and tweeting as I parked for my search.
Out of four possibilities I needed all four before spotting the camoed cache.
Returned just a little higher !
Thanks Kiwimykl

I needed to use up my free AMEX flight and with no family trips planned, a day trip to Blenheim was arranged. Lots of cache varieties and different difficulties as well. There were too many caches to do individual logs. Thanks to all the COs. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalker while caching in and around Blenheim on a beautiful autumn day. With just one full day here, we are concentrating on finding solved puzzles and some multis, as well as any trads that jumped into our route .
So this is where the RSPCA is. All quiet here today, not even the sound of dogs barking. TFTC.

While in the area with Kiwimykl on a FTF chase this morning, he decided to do a cache check on a couple of caches I had not found.
I needed his assistance to retrieve this as it appears that there is a competition on who can place it the furthest out of reach.
A QEF PnG, cache all good.

A good find. You weren't wrong, it was WAY above head height, but I managed to knock it off with the help of a handy stick.
Ha ha. "R"SPCA. What does that tell us about Kiwimykl ? I always like to take a stick when I'm caching, you never know when it might come in handy. TFTC .
