Our last day in the area before we head home tomorrow. A beautiful day to find some more caches here. Found with Earthlight and Shandyk, and signed the log EGS. TFTC.
Not so sure about a white rope but maybe a brown one if you look hard enough. Another great TFTC all in good order.
Mr Suelee in the palm, head down bum up and cursing about palm fronds ! Then the duurr moment and he yells out Im standing on it . Log signed and off we go again Tftc
Nice easy find amongst the fronds. Plenty of books still up for swaps. Cache in great condition.
Our last cache for the day before heading back to camp. Mrs SKI pulled this one in.Moving day today, but only a very short drive from Mildura to Red Cliffs. Then a bit of a look round town. Geocaches took us to Big Lizzie and the Red Cliffs Lookout.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Kelligula.**SKI Pair****
The rope has broke but we were successful. Loved the books! Here with the troops on our road trip to the Mega!Tftc
We looked for a while but honestly was not a pleasant area to search. No rope spotted and no cache found.
In the area for a family wedding and had the time to sneak in a few bonus cache finds.Cheers
Found it. Some great jokes in there. A really great find.
The rope was broken, but we fixed it up. May need to be replaced as it was very frail.
Otherwise a great find.

Found it! Thanks for the cache, awesome little hide with plenty of swag.
Finally we found a cache big enough to add a trackable we’ve had for way too long.
This little trackable came with us from our last camping trip in Traralgon and has travelled almost as far north as he’s allowed on our latest camping trip to Mildura.

Nearly gave up on this one but the hunt for books is strong. Finally located it and was disappointed that it only catered to children. Oh well, books are important.

Today we travelled from Wedderburn to Mildura, stopping to look for some caches along the way. This was another of them.
It took a couple of minutes of hunting before we saw the tell-tale sign and were then able to find the good sized and well stocked cache. The cache and contents were in good condition although the major proportion of the rope was not attached to the cache container. Thanks Kelligula for an enjoyable cache.

Travelling from Perth to Canberra with lots of side tracks.TFTC.
Found the cache before the rope. Once seeing the rope, it was obvious along the ground out the back of the tree.

Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure, yes I know we have wandered over the border. Never mind, It is a wonderful day, perfect for geocaching so we are off to see what we can find. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.
Full time nomads visiting Mildura to finally tackle the Paddle Steamer with iluvtrekking. Of course we have to stop in town and find some caches here before we go 'bush'. Great weather and a fun day out today.

Team one eyed are staying at Red Cliffs CP In an ensuite powered site did a short in order to find the cache. All ok tugged on rope found the cache tftc from one-eyed
Spend 10 minutes looking for the rope and was excited and surprised to see the cache absolutely full of swapables
That took me longer than it should have. I looked at the hint and then spent 10 mins looking for the rope. Great cache this is. We used to have one but it was stolen. I must make and place a new one on our property now that we can keep an eye on it
Enjoyed our weekend in Mildura. On our way back home to Geelong and had to make a few stops for some caches first. Thank goodness for the hint or it might have taken us a little bit to find it.
After staying at the nearby caravan park, I walked to this cache. Appreciated the hint once I got there.

The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...

#12991 - 6:27:00 PM; Day 3 of the Wang Mega tour with Sol de lune. We didn't quite get to Echuca last night, but we did enjoy comfortable accommodation and a great meal at the Falcon Hotel on the highway right next door to the Downunder Dunny. After collecting that cache, we set off for Echuca and a spot of caching in and around the town, avenging a couple of GCA DNFs from our previous visit. We then hit the Murray Valley Highway again as we headed west before turning onto the Mallee Highway near Piangil, then the Calder Highway at Ouyen for our next overnight destination, Mildura. Last stop as we reached the outskirts. Spotted the cache pretty quickly and managed an injury free retrieval. Log signed, cache returned and the day's mission is complete. TFTC Kelligula
After a couple of great days in and around Wang at the Mega, followed by a drive to Echuca, LuckyL10n and I were now on the road from Echuca to Mildura. The plan today was to stop for a few selected caches...those that looked good, those with a few favourtie points..as well all the regular and large caches we could find.
Left Echuca around 9.30am, arriving in Mildura around 6.00pm. All caches we attempted were found, apart from the one that was completely burnt out, so all up a good road trip. Now home
and it's time to log.
Thanks to all owners the along the way, and apologies for the generic log.

After a few days in red cliffs we had some time to kill before we could check into our next accommodation so the geo kids requested we do a few caches.

Caching on my way from Mildura to Adelaide today. This was a quick find today, a great big cache with plenty of swaps. TFTC!
Replaced cache with new ammo box and tied to rope to make it easier for people to access this cache.
Planning to have these back in action on 27th-28th November. Thank you so much for your patience while I have been so unwell.
We will have this back on deck by 25 July 2021. Thank you for bearing with us. Kelligula & RamaTim
Went to put some new books into this cache last night and found that some thieving begger has taken the ammo box. What a disgrace. At least they had the decency to leave the internal plastic container before they pilfered all the books too. Shameful geocaching behaviour. Just shameful. Anyway, we also found the tree next to the GZ had fallen down during the last storm. We made the choice to disable this cache temporarily to replace the ammo box and consider moving to a safer location. As this themed cache is aimed at kids, we want to ensure kids are safe while caching. Thank you for your patience while we replace box and relocate.
Roaming around Red Cliffs, filling in the afternoon picking up a few caches.
A bit prickly here, but the cache was soon found, signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Kelligula, for us and others to find.

Epic adventures start with a single step. Into the unknown. And this is how I started planning our journey to Renmark HS camp. There were a few hiccups (um Covid) but we got here in the end. Using caching to break up our journey.
Being a big fan of books, we had to stop by this cache. It was a nice easy find in a quiet road. Swapped a mr men book for a grug book. That’ll keep the kiddos entertained for a little while longer.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find.

Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity.
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

I have seen a T shirt with Sleep Eat Cache Repeat [^] Well a four day trip to Mildura with caching friends Team Waldron, E.gregory and FeatherWaite certainly fit that bill. Logs were signed with initials only for the teams - BEFW
Up at daybreak, quick breakfast and cache all day stopping only to have a snack whilst out on the trails, rush to set up camp near dusk for a meal, then perhaps some night caching, early night and REPEAT!
Strategic camping at Kings Billabong, Rocket lake and The Common meant we were close by the Geoart and target night caches. Two previous trips in 2013 and 2016 by me and some by E.gregory meant we visited some (well quite a few actually) previous finds but that made it quick for the people that hadn't found them previously.
I can't thank the CO's of these caches enough as some were really very inventive. Even having solved most puzzles before we came we were confronted with field puzzles and gadgets that were just mind boggling. [:X][:X][:X]
***Thanks Kelligula for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Hi there Kelligula.
We found your cache **"The Book Nook"** at 12:20:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 24677).
We're staying in Mildura to hunker down over the current Victorian lockdown. to get our exercise today we decided to attempt some caches around the Red Cliffs area. We found 8 caches & DNF'd 0.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends. Thanks also for not placing a mint tin or a 200ml Sistema here. It made us feel really good to find this "special" cache here.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
**Note:** We didn't spot the listed trackable "Travel Ingot Geocoin Rotation Trailer-La Palma 2014" in the cache,** could Kelligula (or the Trackable owner) please "Mark the Item as Missing" so it can be removed from the cache inventory. This option is under Actions on the trackable's web page).
Thank you Kelligula for adding to our adventure.
Regards

Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks Kelligula for the cache.

TFTC kelligula,
Was hoping to trade a book, but nothing for my age group here
Here is a blurb about us
We are trying to get a badge ,the author ,from project GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to get badges for adding photos to our found logs .
We started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full-time, living in a caravan for almost 2 years now, caching fits in well with this lifestyle. It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone. When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there in order to get the caches we want.
We are in Mildura for a few days and will try to get some caches in town and surrounding areas. We are looking forward to the variety of hides we will encounter. Thank you for your work in placement and ongoing effort for maintenance of caches.

Well - contrary to the cache description, this wasn't a quick easy find We headed into the gap where the GPSr indicated was GZ, but nothing could be found - very dusty in there though!
So started to go around and spotted it in about the third lunge into the massive fronds - that is one big tree!
Thanks Kelligula
