Logs
A loose plan was hatched for a 3-week road trip with RoamingHowie to explore locations in Country NSW wed not been to before and of course, find a cache here and there.DAY THIRTEEN: We turned TEX around and began our southward journey, passing through Gulargambone, Warren, Trangie, Condobolin to Parkes. A nice stroll to gz to find the cache safely tucked away. A new LGA for us. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Team Trangie ~~
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 13: After staring at the stars for hours last night in the Dark Sky Park, it is time to make the trek south again, via some LGAs and ending up somewhere between Condobolin and Parkes.Took a walk and stamped the new log in this cache. Thanks Team Trangie for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. The [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) is on 18 February 2024.Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? Why not check out the geocaching lists available on the [Geocaching Victoria Website](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/). There are plenty to choose from including all of the previous nominees and winners of the Victorian Cache of the Year Awards.
Needing this county , we stopped for this cache, it was a little harder terrain than I thought and I assumed it was going to be elsewhere so took a bit of searching to make the find .. thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
Found It!
Interesting little spot and a nice little walk to GZ. Luckily it is mostly dry here so I didn't need to get wet feet!

Went for a quick run from town while visiting family over Easter to grab to only remaining cache with in easy reach of town. Drove into the dam and had an easy walk to GZ. Cache is best approached for the fence side as there are a few nasty cache guarding spiky plants on the road side. Sadly log sheet has seen better days having been wet, stick together and then dried out again.signed on a washed out section of log. If a following cache could pop in a new log sheet that would be awesome.
Keep an eye out for a new Lab cache in town. I’m hoping to get one down before I leave although there will be no Bonus puzzle cache to go with it.

But there are no geocaches hidden in Gin Gin and this was the closest.
A map of Gin Gin shows a Cobb & Co outpost, therefore I have added a link to some,

A super easy find this morning with Mum after spending the night in Narromine. We visited the Wungunja cultural centre and had a yarn with the beautiful volunteer. It was a bit daunting driving down the track to get this one but we made it!
Next stop- Peak Hill again and then Forbes.

Day 10 of our NSW road trip and making our way from Parkes to Gigandra via Tullamore, Tottenham, Trangie and Warren. Variety of small towns visited, driven through interesting country side and quite a few caches discovered. Many thanks to the CO's for placing these caches.
Out and about caching today from Parkes to Gilgandra via Trundle, Tottenham, Albert, Trangie and Warren. Due to the number of logs found, I have done a generic log. Thank you to all CO's for placing the cache in the locations where found. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
A very hot day to be out walking in a paddock! But the cache was calling so we had to commit. Found the cache without too much trouble, only being harassed by a few pesky flies. So grateful to be able to retreat to the car and pump the air con.
Stopped in here as part of our Great Western County Hunt. It has been a truly incredible trip, as I managed to pick up the last four counties to fill in my NSW county map. A super exciting thing to complete. Thanks for enabling our crazy adventures. Thanks for the cache.

Cairns trip 2019. Day 31. The last day ! Today my final leg was from Nevertire to Canberra via Narromine and Parkes.
Outside of Trangie I visited two outback road caches. This one was in a great spot. Plenty of evidence from past stock visits, but today no one was about and it could be a great place to stop for a night.
Thanks.

TFTC,
Loved this one.
After caching on Fraser Island, attending the first QOGM at Barcaldine and tripping to Broken Hill to prepare for the 2020 National Riley Rally, it's time to head home and cache some of the Council areas that we still need to cache in.
Visited trackables and added a favourite.

A great place to visit, a little muddy today, after the rain. Quuck find, signed log and replaced. Thanks to Team Trangie. Left a trackable to travel.
Traveling home via Snowtown, Broken Hill, Cobar, Dubbo, Forbes, West Wyalong &Temora, finding a good variety of cache types and hides. I visited some interesting historical towns and bush locations, which made the round trip well worth the drive.
I did as much maintenance as I could, replacing damaged containers and full or wet logs.
Signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Team Trangie, for us and others to find.

TFTC Yay, had to find this one today being the closest to where we live to celebrate the 17 years of caching to pick up the souvenir to celebrate the event.
Checked log, all good... although can we please remember if you take something out of the cache remember to replace it with something else.
Caching the surrounding area while staying in the beautiful Gulargambone Caravan Park for a few days over the Easter break.
We drove 440km today caching the surrounding district.
The track in is getting a little hard to see as the vegetation is reclaiming the area, but we did manage to find the cache
Many thanks for the hide Trangie[^]

More like No_Tomorrow's Run! I came at this from McLeods Lane but couldn't drive down the path as it was still too boggy. So out I jumped and started the +800m walk, however the Sun was sinking faster than I was walking and I still had 2 more geocaches to get before dark. So run I did. Took me back to the good old days of Cross Country Running and being fit. Thankfully I did not slide down any muddy slopes today - just got a bit on my shoes at GZ. So it appears it has ONLY JUST dried up enough for people to access without getting their feet and cars bogged.
So many tracks on the trail - kangaroos, goats, lots and different sized pigs, birds, worms, 4WDs, and a very sunken human boot print. And now you can add my Converses to to the list.
Beautiful place! TFTC

First off we chose the wrong approach for this one and were soon confronted by an extensive area of low lying water so we had to retrace our steps and go around the other way. this way was much drier and enabled us to reach GZ fairly easily. The co-ords were good and took us to the right place to make the find. The log was duly signed and replaced. Thank you to Team Trangie for placing this cache.
