Found it but it took some time to retrieve from among the rocks. Eventually the shoeiiz and team trashy managed to get it out. This turns out to be the old cache. Tftc
It took a hot minute , the shoeiiiz and I worked it out of its hiding place . Upon opening the log I realised we found the old one! Tftc pic sent to cache owner.
Tftc - searched and searched. Finally TT found the cache however the difficulty was getting it out. Finally got it. We think we just dislodged and found the older cache.
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Had to be in Rooty Hill for a meeting, so left home early to leave some time for caching.TFTC Wilbert67
After the light but pleasant work of the new power trail nearby, it was decided we should tax ourselves a bit more with some harder caches. This certainly fit the bill, and we were thinking we might be in for a lengthy search. But many hands make light work, especially when strategy is employed. It was only a few minutes before Meritonnn saw a hint of a cache.Sadly for Meritonnn and I it was time to return to base. We said farewell to our friends and made our way to our vehicle, while they made their way to their final caches. I was amused to note we were leaving just before we could aim for the cache I failed to find on my last visit. I guess I'll try to come back another time.
This nearby Aussie icon series was talked about at a recent event and before I knew it, DanSue38 had organised a raid. The team I had with me today was Curliebunny666, Meritonnn, rassilon256, and our trusted guide DanSue38 of course. I had a wonderful day... the walk was enjoyable, the colourfull icons were fun to find and happily spent time chatting with each member of the team in turn. ThanksAfter the Aussie icon series we all decided on "just one more". Phew that could have taken us ages but many eyes make light work, even some swans came over to check us out. Thanks
In the area and headed over for a few more in the icon series. Arrived at GZ and had some ideas of which one proved correct for accurate coordinates. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
After the DNF at the Lakeside cache, was keen to grab this one to continue the streak.
Was in the first place I checked, just missed it the first time over!

Started down the bottom thinking I was searching through the middle of a plant only to find a dinner plate and snake skin interestingly. Almost gave up but decided to have one last look around the top and found it
Tftc. After finding the middle, it was a quick find. Some friendly locals walking their dog warned of snakes in the area.
Stunning weather for our last cache of the day. Log was wet but holding up! SL w my sis. TFTC!
We DNFed here nearly 6 years ago. I guess we had no idea what we were doing then. Now, we still have no idea what we are doing. However, we noticed what we had to notice and made a quick find today. TFTC Rainbow Spirit
Found It!
After working out what the hint meant and then a carefully search of the area, I finally spotted the little thing!

Looking for Geocaches in my local area. I came to this beautiful view and easily found this cache in less than 10 minutes! Great spot and amazing view!
Rainbow Spirit I found your cache Lake Outlook on 25/4/21, 4:20 pm. This is my find 3162 and find # 13 today. Took a bit of searching but found it in the end. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Ended today's search for geocaches with a stop by the lake. Thanks Rainbow Spirit!
Its Sunday morning and of course im going to be out taking advantage of the good weather to grab another cache.
The view out over the lake was a nice place to hide this one.
I had the area to myself while i was searching. Thanks to the clue it took me only about 5 to 10 minutes of searching to locate this one.
The container is in good condition and the log is dry.
Thanks.

Good hint! Didn't take me long to find after sitting down to enjoy the view! OCW Camicles. TFTC
And finally our day is over. We set out to find this cluster and ended it here with a page full of smileys. Thank you Ranbow Spirit for giving us a great day. Ocw LycieSki
Thank you for placing this cache in such a lovely place, would have not come here otherwise. First to sign new log
Gave it a go, couldn't find it given the limited light left and the amount of muggles around. Would love to come back, it's a great hidden gem in the open. Thanks for bringing us here!
9:55am.
After locating The Hill’s Hill, I thought to see if I could avenge my DNF on this RS hide. No dice today. Retraced my steps from my first attempt and tried some different approaches as well. I shall return.

We had trouble with a similar one recently, and expected the same. But after narrowing down the search region, The Bebes and I used our heads literally, when we bumped them together as I spotted something a little different. Well hidden! TFTC
Out today with Brewmaker and The Bebes finding some caches in the Fruit Trail series and other nearby caches in Elizabeth Hills and Cecil Hills. After the trail, we continued on to this cache. Parked the car at near gz and then it was just a short walk across.
Read the hint, followed the gps, and we soon saw what was required. After a long search we finally saw something odd mentioned in a previous log, and soon had the cache in hand, though a little off middle. Signed the log and replaced it all as found. All up it was a successful and fun day out. TFTC

Returning to the car after completing The Fruit Trail and a couple of others we did a slight diversion to try and bag this one.
We had previously bumped into the CO doing a maintenance run and he gave us a hint on this one. Even with the hint it took us a number of minutes until Mrs A spotted it with her eagle eyes.
We did the signing and I put it back. TFTC Rainbow Spirit.

Parking near GZ, marj01, oldmorty and I walked up the pathway to some seats overlooking a lovely little lake. Having a good idea of what we were looking for, we set to work searching all the little hidey holes. Marj01 was successful in spotting the cache. After a very gentle extraction, he soon had CIH. TFTC Rainbow Spirit
After successffully completing the CO's fruit trail series it was off with frazeydaze and marj01 to attemp to find ten other caches owned by the CO. Of the ten caches we attempted, we found five and had five dnfs. After parking near to GZ we wandered up to the nearby seating and read the cache description etc. before beginning our search. One searched above and two below, all the time each of us making suggestions. Eventually one of the suggestions worked and it was CIH. The views of the lake and surrounding countryside were admired by all. TFTC Rainbow Spirit.
I was able to have a day away from the place of employment so I thought I'd head out and grab a few caches. As luck would have it I targeted a few hotspots and quickly watched my numbers climb for the day.
This one took me a while to find as the clever hide was well hidden. It was nice to stop and chat with crash2079 who was just leaving GZ as I got there.
Thanks to all the CO's for the finds today

I made the drive to this area to target the Happy Halloween cache on Halloween. My intention was just to grab the one but then I noticed this series and as it was a nice day for a walk, couldn't resist. About half way around I spotted a higher D/T cache so went for a quick detour across the M7.
On arriving at GZ I thought this could be a lengthy search and I had to be home in time for school pickup. But I figured I might as well give it a shot. I thought the obvious area might be too obvious and investigated a couple of nearby options that sort of matched the hint. But these were quickly dismissed and I couldn't avoid searching the place with lots of hidey-holes. I had a certain hide in mind and couldn't believe my luck when I spotted it quite quickly. After signing the log and replacing, I saw a car pull up nearby and a familiar person walking my way. This time I knew it was The Rats so I took the opportunity to introduce myself and have a quick geoChat. Nice to meet you. Got a tip that I would enjoy 50 Cubed, so I headed back to finish the fruit series and make another detour for that one.

15 min of searching was enough to drive me a little crazy, so I called the CO for help. A hint put me right to the cache! Nasty but very well hidden. Tftc.
It is just over a year since we logged a DNF on this one. Today we finally spotted a tell tale sign, and with a small amount of manipulation we had the cache in hand, and log signed, thanks.
Arrived at GZ and took in the hint. What could it mean???? So I went about searching as per hint and after about 20 minutes something catches my eye. Ahhh Cache. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

After completing my tasks for "She Who Must Be Obeyed" (nothing arduous to be honest) I fled south west to look for a few **Rainbow Spirit** hides. I bypassed ones I knew required searching wet areas or high D/T climbing due to the recent weather.
That left me with two likely higher "D" caches. Got both, and then looked at one of the climbing caches nearby, but... well I've messaged the CO about that one.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parked nearby and made my way to GZ.
aah, one of these. Checked the listing and logs which left me with two likely types of hide and a smaller area on which to concentrate.
20 minutes later I still had nothing. Tricky.
Then I spotted something, could be nothing, or could be... Gotcha!
Well, at least one of my ideas was right, but not implemented the way I expected - which was why the search took longer. Sneaky.
Completed signing duties and replaced.
Now off to my second target.

Found whilst out with Team CCRuDSS. Took a while finding this one. Cheeky little find.
Team CCRuDSS had a belated Christmas lunch catch up and we decided we needed to do a spot of caching to make use of our newly acquired team stamp and personalised caching pen. We had just completed half of the nearby fruit series and as we were returning to our cars, we decided to (re)visit this cache, hoping 6 sets of eyes might bring us luck. In the end we ended up calling the CO to get some help on what we should be looking for and it was during the call that SPY79 spotted the cache appendage, it is a very sneaky hide. Out with Team CCRuDSS (Contactpete, Cry05, RIS768, Dave8153, Snoopy1976 and Spy79) Today and we decided to do some of this series. TFTC
Took a while but got there. Beware a large black snake not far from geo...geowife nearly stepped on, however it really focused us on the task at hand...tftc...
We all had a long long look here. A PAF did not help either, though from what they said I suspect that this one may be gone.
**DNF..... Delloro & I looked for this one for over 30min, even after a phone a friend, it couldn't be located. It may be missing?..**
Had a quick look as I thought I had an idea, but to no luuck today. As it was getting late and cooling down, I decided to first finish the nearby trail I came for and see if I had time left after that, but I didn't.

Looked & looked & looked & looked, not for me today. Got a bit wet from the rain. Heaps of croaking frogs. Thanks for the hunt RS. I'll be back.
We had just completed the fruit trail, & as we ditched the geokids bikes 3/4's the way through, we had to return the long way, going back past all the caches along the trail. We really didn't think that through very well. Luckily for us it was a lovely winter afternoon, a beautiful walk & mostly downhill. We noted the difficulty rating here & suspected what we may be looking for. We had a thorough search, explored other ideas & then sat to read some past logs. Seeing that others commented that co ords were good, we focused our attention solely on GZ. We had two theories in mind here. This took us ages. Looking in the right spot, we eventually found the cache. Definitely our longest hunt of the day!! Don't give up, it's there. But goodluck it's hard to spot!! Tftc Rainbow Spirit, we like these challenging ones. xo
TRICKY! Still can't believe we found this one. Echoing past logs, the clue and the coords are spot on, you just need very keen eyes. Definitely took us a while before we finally spotted something mentioned in previous logs and sure enough there was the cache. A very devious hide and aptly rated. Thanks for the challenging end to our caching morning and for bringing us to this peaceful spot.
After the recent logs, I thought I had a better idea of what to look for. So worry the area clear of muggles i got down and dirty for a thorough search. It wasn't easy. But eventually I found something. Something that looked awkward to get to from my approach angle. Eventually I found an easier way to get it.
Very clever and nasty. What else should we expect from the Rainbow Spirit?
Thanks for the cache.

Previous logs and the clue helped in the search area and a flash of bright green from the right angle identified the hide.

12th of 12 finds (& 1 DNF) - Len Waters Estate & Elizabeth Hills
I came here after finding the other recent hide, "Keep Me Posted". A quick check of past logs showed that a whole bunch of folks DNFd this on the first day before The Booos finally got it. And with TC after that needing the CO's help, I knew this would probably be a tricky one.
I gave it a red hot go. The hint suggested an area to narrow down the search, but try as I might, I saw and felt nothing. I texted the CO and seeing as he wasn't far away, he offered to come over to GZ and "laugh at me for a bit". I kept trying while I waited and before long, the CO turned up. I showed where I had been looking, but I was off track slightly. Finally, he told me the same thing as he'd told TC, and I soon got that tiny glimpse... like TC says not of the usual colour. It does match with one of the theories I had earlier guessed at but dismissed. Quite sneaky.
After signing (as 3TF) and replacing, we discussed a few other caches, including my earlier DNF this morning of "Baa Baa Brown Sheep". I have an idea what to do next time I'm back there, but no time today. I also got an exclusive glimpse of RS's latest contraption - it will provide plenty of frustration for people once it makes an appearance, that's for sure! I had to get going so we said our goodbyes. I didn't find this cache - I didn't even look for this cache as I didn't know it was here. I had found keep me posted and went back to the car to log and just clicked the first cache in the list and accidentally logged a found on this cache. I have deleted the log, will be back another time to look for this one as I only find 1 a day to keep the streak going.
As I was walking back from the other new one the owner took pity on me and narrowed down my search area. It was still a few minutes till I saw s hint of couloir and made the find.

Appears to have been a few before me with geo tell tale signs....no find for us today im afraid
As I walked towards GZ I wondered what devious hide RS had installed. After some searching I decided to walk to the other new nearby cache. I returned here and continued to poke and prod, and then was joined by Dave8153. Alas I will have to return soon.
