No luck for us. The lady across the road was taking an interest so we moved on.
The hardest part about this cache was finding a safe spot to park! As for the cache, it was an easy find and all in good order. Thanks The Booos.
would you believe we had to PAF?!? yeah well watch for the landmines while you are searching!

The Rats have had a slow caching start to 2019 but today we set about rectifying that. The Camden/Campbelltown had seen a plethora of caches published since I was out this way last time, so on a beautiful Autumns day I had a great day caching through the burbs.
A quick find right where the hint indicated.
Thanks

We’re staying in temporary accommodation in Campbelltown whilst we wait for our new home to become available. We moved to QLD a couple of years back & are pleasantly surprised with all the new green dots in the area for us to find. TFTC The Booos xo
So I found the cache and all which was great, but I couldn’t manage to open it so I didn’t manage to write in it.
So I did find it and managed to retrieve it but I wasn’t able to open it, I’m not sure if there is a special way to open it or if I’m just stupid.
TFTC
Drove up to the area for a nice lunch, and a quick cache of course.
Cheers Boos

Out doing some night caches with Lucky Cricket and Little Cricket so we can gain our next Hidden Creatures Souvenir. A nice quick find on a nice winter night. TFTC
Found with Little Cricket and 007Mushu. The log was very very full so I replaced it with a spare one that I had with me. Great hide TFTC:)
Quick find in the usual spot- lovely house. Don't often get to see the historic homes up close like this. TFTC
Found a spider. Accidentally stepped on a snail. Didn't find the cache.
I was hoping to find some older history in the area. This cache led me to an example of that. I had no pen, so please accept a photo of the cache held in front of the old home. Thanks for the cache.
Got this one while out and about. Originally looked in the wrong location, but just behind us was option 2 and we had success! TFTC
Whilst visiting Campbelltown, there is nothing better that an early morning walk on New Years Day to find a couple of caches and get a new souvenir.
I normally despise nanos but this was a quick, easy find. SL TFTC

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Log seems full.
Aiming for an end of year tally, had hoped to get more on my run home today after a weekend away. With a few I’d intended listing too many dnfs to bother going out of my way, quickly checked the app rather than my PQ for any quick detours. Phone co-ords not as accurate and searched wrong indicated GZ initially before spotting another option a few meters away.

Thanks for bringing us here to this location The Booos.
**The Cache**
A big fence and locked gates surround this gorgeous property. I had my car gps guide me here and it implied GZ was a fair distance in from the road and with the hint combined I made assumptions that this did not look promising. As a result I didn't stop and check things out. [:o)][:o)] Hindsight is lovely ! Oh well, lesson learnt. There will be more return occassions and an opportunity to redeem myself.
**The Day**
Saturday, ah yes, it's Caching day. Decided on a trip to Campbelltown as I wanted to visit the phone shop to exchange my sim and change my plans, plus I had an outstanding reward to *Smiggle* owing to Sprout One for a special school award. I had planned on moving around the Campbelltown area and down to Wedderburn but that went out the window when I mistakenly took Appin Road. With practically nowhere to uturn I decided to keep on going to find a Macarthur Panther cache. That done we darted all over the countryside from Appin to Picton to Tahmoor before darkness descended and chased us home. Another great day was had.

Thanks for bringing me here. I have not seen Englorie House before and have only been familiar with it from the name of the suburb.
Spectacular views over Campbelltown from here. It was filling in a hole in my days logged. The GPS went quite crazy for a bit but settled down and there it was.
Thanks again The Booos

We looked for at least half an hour. Could not find it at all, went through every comment on here. Any extra hints would be appreciated!
Visiting Campbelltown for another game of bowls. With the 3,000,000 milestone souvenir this weekend, it seemed logical to grab one while I was in the area.
Decided to check this one out before heading back to the highway. Nice easy park and grab in a residential area. The hint was deceiving, however the cache was hidden in a logical place! Thanks for the cache

TFTC. Wasnt planning on this one, but remembered one was near here, no pen so couldnt write on log.
Was slightly difficult in the dark . Lucky I walked here , wouldn't be able to park the.car
The lady across the road came out to clean her car and was interested as to what I was up to, as she had seen a few people here, I explained caching to her and even showed her the container.
It wasn't the easiest find because I concentrated the search initially in the wrong area, when it turned UP elsewhere.

Found today after movie with Pitman Clan watching on and having a giggle.
Dated & returned to spot..

Easy find. Then back to to Geocache Mobile to get an extraction tool. Did my duties. Then only six attempts to get the log back where it belonged. TFTC
Found on my way home after an appointment with Kool kid. GPS made it harder than it needed to be, Geo senses kicked in eventually ! My tool came in handy too. Put back just in time for a car to stop and it was a lady showing a Japanese tourist around, she asked me all about the house! having just read the info off the cache description I sprouted off my knowledge to them like a boss!!!!! TFTC
Looked everywhere along fence line. GPS was all over the place even put new cords in and still no find.

23 September is another of the calendar days that I need to beef up so I will have at least 5 finds by the end of next year - my fifth year of caching.
So, as usual, I will do a bit of overkill and head somewhere I can make a number of finds - ie nowhere within 15km of home...
So down the M7 to the Campbelltown area seemed a good idea. And so it proved. Went for 9 and found 8 - but to be fair the no find was expected due to the series of DNFs recently logged.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
And another quick park and grab... except I'd walked from my last find nearby. [:p]
No one nearby made for a nice easy cache. Completed signing duties in the park, then back for the replace.
And only a short walk back to *The Hademobile*.
