Now that the sun has come out it is time to go for a walk. Our second find along the track and once again a spot of maintenance was required. We gave it a tidy up by removing old wet logs and inserting a nice new log and bag. Should be all go now for quite a while. tftc#9895
TFTC found with Maedchenhabenspass. Log book is a bit damp. My GPs was 8m out Cool hide though
Wouldnt have found it without reading other peoples logs but made sense afterwards
Headed over to Picton for a long evening of caching around Victoria Domain and Snout track. Managed 14 finds, 1 DNF, a swim and a few hours of walking. This took a while. So many potential spots and my GPS had me about 10m out. Spotted once I read previous logs and approached from the lower track. Cache other all fine. Thanks for the smiley
During our trip around NZ we also visited this place. We found several caches here. Thank you. Greetings from the Czech republick.
Such a nice little walk to pick up this one. Log is pretty much destroyed, and unfortunately didnt have any paper on me, but managed to sign. Picked up the TB there and will move that on. TFTC

Petit run de dcouverte de Picton ce soir avec une srie de cache, a donne envie dy retourner vlo! Tftc
Missed it on the way out to the Snout today, but after stopping to rest at the top lookout, we decided to head home without going the whole way north. While searching for the cache on the way back to the car, we met a couple of Schnauzers who told me quite loudly that I was in their walking spot. I didn't tell them about the cache, which was safe and sound.
Cool cache. Bring a pen, needs a new log soon. Found once we read the description a bit more. Little one enjoyed seeing the treasure inside. Thank you!
Spending the weekend in the top of the South, so found a few caches on our wanders.

In the area for a couple of days and decided to take in some walks. In looking for this hide we realised that there was another path and the hint made more sense from there! After that realisation it wasn't long before the hide was found, log signed and all replaced as found. Thanks for adding to our adventure and another smile on the geomap Raisinpig!
Logged a dnf a year or so ago, but luck today. Branched out further and bingo! GPS was out or tree disturbance. Tftc

Back in Germany I now want to log my Finds in this beautiful country also log. Thanks to the owners for their work and care. With some cans remains of course also a favorite point.
Found on our hike today above Picton.

We had a nice walk around Picton and Bazi was the lucky one

I spent a lot of time too far up until I read a log about it being reachable from the MTB track. TFTC.
We made this one more difficult than it really was and had to return to basic's and what the other logs said. Once we were a little more focused on the task at hand it soon all fell into place
Had a good look but no luck for me this time. Many brunches down after cyclone a few days ago.
Found it. Took us a wee while to locate but made it in the end. Was closer to the mbt than originally thought...TFTC
Went out today with some of the whanau to look for geocaches along the snout track before the rain set it. TFTC
Good find, and had a nice chat with a piwakawaka while I was signing the log.
Thanks for the cache Band W. Figured where the cache was and yeap there it is. Break in the bad weather and on my bike for a few caches up here.
Hmmm . . . With about a million possible places here and my GPSr reading accurate to +/- 25m near the GZ I almost didn't even bother with this cache. Luckily it was much bigger than I expected and I spotted it out of the corner of my eye just a couple of metres from the wee shortcut. TNLNSL TFTC
We thought we stood no chance to find it, but very shortly afterwards it was in hand. We started on the big path from the road and then used shortcut onto MTB path. TFTC
Was enjoying this track so much went right passed. Lol. Back tracked and soon was found.
Was walking the Snout Track with Jan ( nette ) on the first full day of our Cachecation .
We really enjoyed walking on the bike track as it was a fairly flat elevation and in the shade.
Thanks!

Found but the native fauna is rotting so some broke away today. Maybe consider a new spot
Family holiday time...a couple nights Kaikoura, a couple Picton & finish off in Nelson.....
After a couple nights in Kaikoura its time for Pictons couple of nights...
Family bike ride time...pretty hot dy so the bike/walk up from the mariner was pretty harsh! Nice views up here though & the bike along the top a bit easier! Nice wee detour to this stop. Cheers.

Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to visit!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on wet or plastic logs)
*Another good cache located - now onto the next one!*
Last day of our 3 week geocaching trip in the South Island, picked this one up on the way to the ferry. Good walk to cache.

Not near coords. Off by about 5m. May be trees putting off the GPS. Found anyway. TFTC
Yes, didn't notice this mtb track until dragged in here by the gps thanks for doing that to us.
Had this entered in my GPS for 3 years! Finally, thanks to Covid-19 restrictions and NO bike activity, I explored a couple of the Snout MTB tracks. A qef as coordinates were spot on. All in good shape though log has absorbed a bit of dampness - still writable.
Great camouflage. My phone was 15 metres ‘out’ but not many ‘in’ places anyway! Great clue
As the coords were quite accurate and especially because of the hint not to step from the path we found this box quite quick.
Thank you for leading us to this beautiful area!

A quick find on the way out to the snout once I realised there was another track close by. Thanks Raisinpig

Found after negotiating some blackberry to get onto bike track from walking track. Gave a large spider a fright when removing the cache. Good camo container. TFTC
I decided to try for a few caches along the Snout Tracks to see how far my knee would hold out.
In: TB.
Cheers for the cache.
