As people had been struggling to find this one, I thought I should check it out. It had got a little obscure but still there reasonable condition. I've made it more obvious now so don't give up...keep looking!

Oh, and even in summer I got leeches on me. It may be summer (albeit a wet one) but they're still keen for blood!

Think we might know where this one used to be, but after some searching, could not locate the cache.

13:30We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!Checked via a PAF - still no luck. Perhaps a 'Micro' in this location is deserving of a higher DR, but that won't help us find it.Unfortunately this DR2.0/TR1.5 didn't want to show itself to us today! Thanks for the hunt anyway sixy2sue.

Another DNF ?? I felt very disheartened. I did try, i searched for about 20min but no joy.

17-Jul-22
We spent a good 20mins look in, under, around the GZ but no luck today. Will revisit this one in better weather.

Swear it’s more than a two rating. Like a piece of straw in a haystack. Thanks sue for help on Mother’s Day, my first Mother’s Day without my girls, and giving me hints to soften the blow. Ps put on mozzie spray -they were relentless. Favorite for picking a lovely spot, great conservation info and for your help

27-Aug-20
No luck today, but we're amateur explorers so we'll try again soon. Kids loved the mossy scenery

Find #11031

I was off work for a week due to COVID-19, so I decided it would be a good day to go caching. I headed out to the Churchill area with beckNmonts for a fun day of caching. I must admit to not having my caching eyes on and after checking where bNm recommended,I moved on and eventually beck made the find.

Thanks to sixy2sue for the cache. TNLN.

Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2020?*

ahomburg and I headed out this way today to see if we could find some previously solved puzzles and other trads between. Overall it was a successful day with no DNF’s. The variety of hides was great. Thanks for placing the cache sixy2sue, this one was right where I suggested ahomburg look...

We have around a 5 day gap in our caching calendar in March where we have found no caches, so with the likelihood of us being stuck at home for winter this year we decided to use some of our local as yet unfound caches to try and fill the gaps.
This was today's cache in our efforts.
Again another drive into the Yinnar South area. We often used this road as an alternative route to head into the Valley when we were first married and lived at Budgeree.
We parked in a safe place and headed off to find GZ. A few stinging nettles about but we managed to negotiate the scrubby terrain. The route e took was certainly more than a T1.5!
It took quite some time before we finally found the well-concealed cache.
And then we discovered our good mate Rebel Acts had also found it just a few days ago!

Not sure what all the fuss on this one is about, it really was a quick straight forward hide, I will take the unloved. Thanks for the cache.

I couldn't find anything. Seems I'm not the only one. Might be worth checking. My search area was mostly around the huge tree lying on the forrest floor. Its a beautiful area. Tftc

Hi, I went and checked out this cache and as I suspected, it was just the "Did not find" flow on effect. It was still there waiting to be found, but you know how it goes... one person doesn't find it, so the next person suspects it isn't there and looks a bit less diligently, and then the third person spends even less time and by the fifth person, it might be a cursory glance - and then a call for maintenance by Geocaching.com. Sigh.

Well I can happily say that the cache is there, where it has always been and in fairly good condition given its time in the bush.

Go and find! And look hard!

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there sixy2sue,

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.

You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.

- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Found what I assume *was* the sycamore tree, uprooted with limbs chopped off and searched in the various nooks and crannies looking for the cache but was unable to find any sign of it. Maybe the cache is hiding nearby but as I was flip-flopping around almost bare-footed in thongs (foot type thongs, not a bum-floss thong!) I wasn't keen to be stomping around the undergrowth tempting whatever bitey things were lurking to sink their fangs into my lower extremities!

No luck from me either.

Despite a thorough search, no luck here today. Too clever for us, sixy2sue

Couldn’t find it so many trees down

When we arrived near GZ there was a fire truck with a team of fire fighters doing some practice on a training night. Actually getting to GZ through the bush was was quite adventurous as there were quite a few fallen trees blocking the route we took , as well as a few holes in the ground we managed to avoid falling into and twisting ankles.

Tftc 62sue. Keep coming across your caches! Fortunately no sign of dastardly sycamores as I looked hard and long for this beast. Checked a few logs and read the description before thinking like a cacher had the nicely concealed micro in hand. I was very lucky though as some sentinel bulldog ants came out to investigate the ruckus

18-Dec-17
A lovely little wander through some light scrub and a climb over a couple fallen trees had me at GZ, the cache was soon in hand, it was very well hidden and I liked this one alot, thanks for the hide Smile

GPS was a little out, but we found this one after 10 minutes or so of searching. Fantastic hide.

Found with taurus1955 and BentleyTB. Well, there must have been an easier way to get to this one, but we didn't find it. Located after crawling on my hands and knees to get close to GZ. TFTC

I think that I made this a lot harder than it should have been as I was poking my hand into all sorts of places filled with mud and gunk when misschief18 ambled over and picked up the cache immediately. BAH!!! Bentley TB visited

Out loving the freedom of a morning caching with mummy short legs today and this was or second pit stop. Taking the title into consideration we made a beeline for a likely suspect up hill and down dale and thru bush... then spotted the easy going entrance we could've taken! Ah well! I examined the impressive water works then back tracked to find MSL acting all nimble and athletic above my head. Then I heard the welcome words "I've got it!" Hoorah! Another nifty container, very glad MSL managed to put her hands on it so quickly! TFTC sixty2sue!

Second on our trail for the day, Kato and I parked in the recommended place and ventured into the reserve. I clambered over the interesting fungi while Kato circled on the ground, noting that 0m was in a huge puddle at the base of the fallen tree. In the end, I poked around with a stick, got courageous and put my hand on the cache to extract it. Well done, TFTC sixy2sue and for the lesson on the weed eradication.

Found easily in this beautiful little reserve. I could see a couple of the distinctive yellow sycamore seedlings, but gladly not too many Smile found the cache easily once i got the courage to put my hand there, I'm always terrified I'm going to wake a sleeping huntsman. Absolutely loved the cache container. Thanks for a great find.

14/05/2016 - 2.25pm - No. 591 - 3rd for the day - with dgfb33. Finding devices had us heading in the right direction & were directed to an interesting place which turned out to be where we needed to be. Signed the replacement page & replaced cache as found.
Thanks for the cache & the great fun to be able to sign such a nice new log. Big Grin

200km trip for six caches this afternoon (yeah we managed to do some double backs because we altered our planned route a couple of times Sad ). Cool

After having a joint FTF on the last cache, kmps & I headed off to find this one.
After a short search, one half of the cache was found. We search around for the other half with no luck.
We left a temporary log which we both had signed.

I saw the email notification, so watched this cache for the rest of the day hoping to knock off from work early. No luck. So after singing I picked up N and he agreed to come and help me look in the dark.
After parking we quickly reached GZ, to be confronted with a hive of possible hiding places. Fortunately the GZ co-ords were spot on, so after about 15 minutes searching N had it in his hot hands.
Great cammo. A nice cache .. and a container that fits the cache name, however I only realised this once we'd found it.
