School holidays, best time to get these types of caches. Easy parking and retrieval..Cheers
JDScout and I are spending 15 days traveling up to the Coromandel from our home in Christchurch. We are taking our camper van and E bikes. Our journey up and back will include a few stops. We spent 4.5 days driving up. Then we will spend 8.5 in The Coromandel district. Today is day 5 it was our first and last physical find. We completed 3 lab caches in Morrinsville, admiring their cow sculptures. We parked our camper van near gz and had lunch before I searched for it.
lovely little school . A quiet spot on a Saturday afternoon. Thanks for hiding and maintaining
Mr NZT put the call out for who would like to join him for a walk and potentially some park and grabs afterwards. So, Mr HeMaLuDy contacted him and a plan was formed. Having completed the walk and with the afternoon free we made a plan to pick up some park and grabs. This is genuine a park and grab. With it being school holidays we were a little naughty and parked in the school bus parking spot. Then a super quick search following the hint for the find. TFTC
Am in need of some walking time to prepare for an upcoming tramp around Stewart Island. Was suggested to attempt the Mt Williamson walk just after the Bombay Hills. This walk would be a good starter and as there were several caches on the walk it all made sense. So headed out with Mr HeMaLuDy for an attempt. Having completed this relatively easily and with most of the afternoon free we decided to attempt a few more caches. Eventually ending up as far south as Morrinsville... Mad cachers... NAH!A quick find here after we parked in the school bus spot..... we are rebels!!!!TFTC
Over from Adelaide Australia as an expat kiwi, catching up with friends and revisiting areas Ive lived in before and of course picking up the odd cache along the wayA quick find, stamp and return here todayTFTC
The gps bounced around here, but it was soon located thanks to the hint.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find

Hah! Always have a food stop at the school and never thought to check for a cache. Too hungry! But not this time. Gotcha
We can imagine how busy it would be here on a weekday so a Saturday afternoon was perfect as the area was completely deserted.
We soon located the cache, not quite as the hint suggested but an awesome hide.

#8796. I have been up in Auckland for the past week and now its time to drive back home to Wellington. The trip home is never a quick or straight one when you have geocaches to locate and bird watching places to explore. I was diverting here to look at the shorebirds at Miranda and picking up some caches on the way. After the bird watching it was time to head south and Tahuna was the next port of call. Some muggles were parked in cars near the school but after looking at me initially they soon lost interest so had time to find the cache. Soon spotted it. Signed the log and replaced where found. Thanks eyespyben for hiding it here.
We were on the way back from Te Aroha and sun was almost down when we arrived at Tahuna, I said to Mrs B, I wonder how many caches are in the town, turns out to be 4 of them so we decided to clear the town and we were on our way again about 15 minutes later. All good here, TFTC.
Today I'm starting my road trip home from Auckland to Nelson with my newly acquired convertible cachemobile. I'm going to be finding a few caches along the way. School holidays meant I could park fairly close to the cache. Found the cache, signed the log and replaced as found. Then I had to take a work call before carrying on my way. TFTC, Biggles.
The car navigation told us to go this way, which meant a few caches that we had not found before
I assume that the other road was more busy, so time wise this was going to be the shorter route in theory? I guess the navigation system does not include caching time
Once I was on the right side of the road, this was a quick find. Thanks for the hide eyespyben, a fun find for rebel98 and myself today

Spotted where I thought this one would be as well arrived at GZ and sure enough there is was. Another great spot to stop for a cache. TFTC
Nice and quiet at this location with only the odd passing car, a small child provided good cover and credit to him as the Little One located the cache, again Mrs and Little One left Mr in rain to sign and return. TFTc
Husband away so out caching. Fav point for the cache container, even if it took a bit to open with wet hands. TFTC
Never been here before.Travelling a few of the back roads. Had a good day today. Nicely placed cache. Tftc
. On a small road trip with Mcjandals over to the Waikato. Lots of fun and good weather until the end and then it was time for home. Enjoyed some roads off the beaten track as the main ones were very busy. Think the farmers in the area will be glad of some rain. Thanks to all the COs for some great caches TFTC
On a roadie with NZ Flossy. I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers
Stopped here to stretch the legs on the way back from the BOP to Auckland after visiting family. Very warm day to be caching around in the afternoon. Pretty straight forward find and cache is in good condition
One of ten located, mostly on the Tahuna-Ohinewai Road, as we headed towards SH1 on our way to Auckland. Reasonably quick find. #2130. TFTC.
When I came by before, there was construction right at GZ, so I couldn't get close enough to search. It was late in the day so everybody was gone from the school. This made searching a piece of cake. Still, I looked at the usual places first before I spotted where the cache was actually hiding. TFTC.
With my afternoon largely free I decided to head out of the Auckland urban limit and take a drive in the country. The weather started off fine enough, but I have now encountered a patch of gentle rain. With the school day at a close I had no issue nabbing a park at the school car park before making the short walk over to GZ. Spotted this one straight away for a super quick find. Cheers for the cache placement!
On my way to the airport in the very early hours and decided I had enough time to finally do this cache. All was intact and log is nice and dry. Great clues, TFTC
Bit of a blonde moment there, yippee for the clue! Very clever little hide! TFTC!
Final road trip with my mom and this time we are off to Te Aroha. Easy find during our travels. TFTC
Tftc. Found easily with the help of the hint. The three juniors enjoyed a bit of a play at the school playground before continuing on our journey.

**8.25am**
**daily find #2**
The weather looked to be bad in the BOP so a decision was made to head to the brighter skies of the Waikato (for a change...)to knock off "The Eyes Have It" series and a few more to bring our tally up to 99 for the day.
Glad its the school holidays, as this one could have been a tough one to find otherwise!!
Thanks Ben for the hide!!

Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Stopping for a few more finds on the way home after returning from a caching weekend in the deep south of the mainland.
Nice easy find here with very little passing traffic despite the holiday weekend TFTC.

Coming from Auckland towards taupo, I have my sister-in-law with me, who visits this great country first time
Best: she doesn't mind the stops to do a bit of caching
