Ok so our gps was a little off, widened the search, found the cache with a good stock of minties at hand.
A warm morning for a hike in the hills of Warramate, searching for BonnyBlack's WW series.
I'm glad I searched for this one early on after that strenuous climb.
Very peaceful here today, I think I had the place to myself.
Neatly tucked away container with an amusing very simple field puzzle inside. No magnets in sight today though

We were reminded of a few things in hunting for this cache …
Walking through the trees after rain means you get wet.
Following the Cache Owner’s recommended path in is easier than the alternative. Thanks
There are many items that match the hit - so check them all, rather than just a few, multiple times.
definitely stop to appreciate the view after you emerge to the GZ.
AND … hand sanitizer really hurts when you’ve got blackberry scratches all over your hands.
Thanks for the adventure and the cache.

Out on the electric bike today checking out Warramate Reserve. Great views from the cache.
Thank you Bonnie black for a cache
with a view. I'm now on to the summit.

One of my favourite places, had to come back to get this. What a gorgeous view. Will come back with a pen next time
The first big adventure since second lockdown with day1976. This area is at the top of our joined 25km zones, and I knew it wouldn't be super busy! My partner came along for the hike to get out of the house.
Gawd what a hill. Bush bashed up, first cache since 30th of June. I was so out of breath, the mask didn't help!

Pretty tough up the hill, but got to GZ and after a breather and a small hunt around, we found the cache.
Out for a family walk, enjoying being more than 5 kays from home on grand final eve. Quet, beautiful spot. 2nd stop, gps had us going in circles but got there, fabulous view
We went the wrong way for this I think - the moss on the way down was pretty and springy underfoot. Got there in the end, TFTC.
I feel like a mountain goat, although a lot sweatier! That view though makes the climb worth it! I tackled this cache last of the bunch today as to be honest, the name scared me. Great way to end the adventure!
GPS took me to the wrong log, then put me on the right location. That is a steep incline! Great view from up here though. Tftc
Decided to do this one as I was heading back to my car, so the incline wasnt as bad as climbing up to steel hill. Still a bit of a challenge though! Easy find once I got to the gz
Starting to really enjoy the walk through this nature reserve and sucking in the scerenity .
Yes , I do like mint tins . Thanks BB

This is going to be our last I think. The rain is about to catch us. Thanks for a great day out.
Found it, Our last find of the day as the storm clouds, wind, thunder and rain rolled in so we were pretty desperate to be getting somewhere else fast. We dropped in on this one from further up the hill, luckily our search was a quick one thanks to Papi4506 having been here before and have a vague memory of what we were looking for...TFTC...

Out on an adventure today with Papi4506, Geoturtle37 & Mark&Kelly.
The thunder and black clouds were really beginning to threaten us, so we made a quick detour off track to find this last one for the day. Will be back another time for the remaining few.
Cheers BonnyBlack

Today the plan was to hit some mountains caching, however the weather and way to much traffic quickly changed my plans. Looking for another hill area to explore, this area appeared in my pre-saved offline cache list.
I certainly worked up a sweat on this 'incline'. The area is starting to get over grown, but with a bit of bush bashing was abke to get to where I needed to be.
Found at 1pm, the last find of the day in this area, to bring todays total up to 13 finds, 3 DNFs and 4 I ran out of time to attempt.
Thanks for the cache Bonny Black

I made it to the top and searched. Cracka1 came up with the goods after I read the hint in a previous log. Not the big tree.
MontsII and myself finished some work around the yard this morning and decided it was time to go for a walk. I suggested we head here to collect some puzzles I had solved, and some of the trads. He obliged, and off we headed. Hmm, he said “I’ve been here before”. He had been, to collect another puzzle. I was hoping he wouldn’t notice I was making him come to the same place twice. We started the multi but got side tracked on other caches, we will get it when we come back to finish the area off. Thank you for a great puzzle series and for bringing us to this nice area BonnyBlack
Found @14:59 #6676
This reserve has been on my list for years. Many a time glancing over the map this area was mostly void of caches, but now an epic puzzle series and trads where in play. A great series with a mixture of terrian both on and off track. With all puzzles solved sometime back between myself and ahomburg it was just a matter of when. Well finally today it was. A total of 6 hours was spent meandering around the park and upto the trig point and back. All caches found, some with very effective camo that made the discovery take longer then expected. Big thanks to the CO for showing me around this impressive flora and fauna reseve with ahomburg today. Total of about 16km and over 25,000 steps according to fitbit. Good stuff. [^]
Nicely hidden this one and not where expected. The last found in the WW series today. Favorite for the series. Big thanks to the CO for all the effort in setting this up. Great area to use.

Find #9467
After having finally having made my way through the WW puzzles with confirmed coordinates for all, finally my caching partner in crime sedgwickDave and I finally had a free day to hit the hills of Warramate and more. We had a big day with over 15km of walking and over 600m of vertical ascent, we certainly worked hard for our terrain stars. The weather was mainly pretty good, overcast with the sun occasionally showing itself and also a couple of very quick showers. It was a great day.
Last one for the day, all caches in this beaut little park are now found
Many thanks to BonnyBlack for the cache. TNLN.

Easy find once I picked my way through the rapidly growing vegetation. Beautiful view up here if a little smoggy today. Thanks.
And so the incline begins...walking and walking and we arrive at GZ spread out and begin our search. SP made the find for this one, log signed and off we go.
Thanks BonnyBlack
Thanks BonnyBlack
After initially taking another path we crossed over and proceeded up the incline. It was a nice view, of which we would discover others as we made our way around.
This was found with abl973 while exploring this great park that we hadn't visited before. Thanks to BonnyBlack for the cache.

Still so glad to be able to use this place. The Gruyere community fought so hard to stop this place from being subdivided
Found with Lissy78 on her first geo expedition...beeded the hint from a previous log tho
31/3/17 4:13 pm #2341 After a day off work today and some daily chores completed i grabbed my stepdaughter Tia_2306 and hit the lovey area for a little walk up the countryside...
Amazing views and great easy little hike....
Will be back when we have some more time to finish this series....

We found this cache today at 12:35pm as number 2 of 13 on our Warramate Wander. Looking at this one on the map, we thought that we could more easily access this one from the above track. Although it was about a 60m walk down from the track, we were able to soon get to the cache area. The hides that met the hint closer to where we were being pointed, which were up near the big tree but wandering about 10m downhill,we found the hide. Thanks from D and H B-A.
Today I had a plan. A carefully crafted plan. A plan that had be forged by a week of solving puzzles for caches in the area, by grossly underestimating the terrain, and by grossly overestimating my fitness level. Anyway I had a plan.
As I was parking the car in preparation for a casual day of geocaching through the Warramate Nature Conservation Reserve another car pulled up and fellow geocachers stepped out and introduced themselves. My plan had stepped on a Banana skin before I had stepped foot in the reserve.
I was pleased to have the company as we made our way to the GZ. Once again I was lagging behind however my lack of speed meant that I had more opportunity to scan the area for the cache. I soon spotted the cache and we had the log signed. After taking in the view we headed back down to the track. At this stage we parted company and I proceeded solo for a day of further caching. TNLN. TFTC.

Sometimes it is just great to have a few extra eyes.
If the bananas offer any advice in this game. Don't buy the equipment we have.
Get a friend.
Pay good money.
And
Don't rely on us.
Here we walked 25 meters past it and were in the process of stripping down a tree before the frilking thing was found.
Thanks.

Second find for the day, climbing up the steep incline, pretty slushie and wet in most places. Saw a lot of deer prints but no deer, they would be hiding with all the noise my two kids make.
These caches are well worth the walk, we've been here before (years ago) but was nice to be able to get off the beaten track and see things that we didn't even know were here (such as the dam and quarry). The kids had a ball and sadly we didn't get to finish the series (ran out of time) but we will be back.
A note prob a good idea to wear boots or hiking shoes as our feet were very wet, some very slushy and slippery areas but so much fun.
Saw an area where one cache was with over 30 lizards (yes the kids sat there and counted them all), a echidna skeleton, some turtle shells to name a few things. Thanks BonnyBlack for the caches.. one reason why l love caching as it takes you to places you never knew were even there. And away from the ratrace... so peaceful here today

After WW The Introduction Cache Off I headed for this one. It really got these not so fit legs working but the View is worth it. Thanks for the series BonnyBlack.
I don't know if this was intended as the second of the series, but it became so for me. The nice gentle slope became a little less gentle on the approach, but I found myself at GZ in good time and started shining my torch into various crevices. I was definitely feeling like time was not on my side, as the sun was already drooping in the sky by this stage. I was worried for a bit that I was going to be defeated here, but the cache soon revealed itself, though all was not quite as it seemed. Thanks BonnyBlack!
Hi Bonnyblack, thanks for bringing me here once again. Trailstevo and I headed out late tonight with half a plan. Initially stumbled at the bridge works blocking our access, so went the really long way round and parked the car. Set off from the car at 9.15pm, first wombat took 100m to spot, then the first cache, second cache with some creative night time path making, then across the boggy grass, over the hill to the damn. Spotted a few Roos, another wombat, and what we thought could be a dragon, nope.... Turned out to be a deer. Saw 3 deer in total. Picked up the last of the cache and back into car after 2 hrs. Bit fresh and windy out tonight, but as I tell my friends (who think I'm made going out at night), you don't see much wildlife in you front room! TFTC
Fun trek in the dark to pick up the WW series. Cross country through puddles. Tftc
While in the company of the McLookers and Tomstash we thought we would drop by and get this cache.
Now that's what I call a view, what a spectacular area, that view is just amazing.
Thanks for the cache and the view BonnyBlack

A nice challenging walk to GZ and a stunning view when we got there. Thanks BonnyBlack. Took TB.
Boy this was getting tough, terrain wise. I worked my wat to the provided waypoint and headed up hill. By the time I reached GZ I was already dripping sweat.... that is wasn't even 15 degrees today! So after signing the log the stripping of layers began and I moved on to the next cache.
I have never seen purple mushrooms before, but I did here. As well as some almost fluorescent yellow ones.
Once again we enjoyed the view before moving on.
Thank you for bringing me out to this beautiful part of the world. And thank you for the cache.

I was *inclined* to think you're trying to break me here. Not so!
Sore ... *everything* ... by now, but on the home stretch.
We saw some gold tops and blue meanies, a unicorn and a heap of faeries wearing clowns masks floating from fishing sinkers and...
Ahhh, where were we?
Nearly trod in some fresh fox doo doo.
Left my dog, Annie the peg here to enjoy the view, well, her spirit anyway.

Onya BB and thanks for all the effort you have gone to here in this great reserve.

FTF I saw this cache come up a few days ago, but I wasn't able to get out for a look for a couple of days so I forgot all about it. I was lounging around this morning when 2 more WW series caches were published, and a quick check revealed that this one and "The Dam" were still unloved 3 days after they were published. Well that's no way to treat a shiny new cache thinks I, so I had better see what I can do about the situation. This cache required a lot more huffing and puffing than the first one I had found, but it was worth the effort to see a shiny new log book waiting for my entree. Signing the log and returning the cache to it's resting place gave me a chance to catch my breath and see where to head for my next target. At least the first bit is downhill from here. [:-)] Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
