Quick find!!! There is water in the bucket and the logs are completely wet. TFTC
Spotted this one from the car! We followed the super obvious geotrail into GZ and yep we were right. There was a fair amount of water in the cache which we tipped out and the log books are all damp. We spotted the banana tb but didn’t take, and dropped in a TB which I collected last month in Europe. Found with rumpuslabs, tftc
Not even going to try to retrieve this one with all the brown snakes being seen.
Found it! Good hiding spot - unfortunately the recent heavy rains must have flooded it as it was all wet inside and the log book and items all soggy sadly. Was a great find regardless - just needs maintenance
With rain expected tomorrow, we headed out with iluvtrekking to do dry weather caching. Now that is a big cache - what a surprise. Thanks Fair_Dinkum
Another cache found with richlink on a beautiful sunny day.
WOW that is a small cache
Thank you so much to the CO’s who have placed and maintained caches for the enjoyment of all.

Hanging out in Port Lincoln today and managed to find a few caches.
Why does Big Cache smell so good?
Picked up the TB
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!
Fair_Dinkum, I found Big Cache today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Not sure where i found this is where it should have been. With recent rains i feel it may have drifted off course. Great to have a large hide where i could place a travel bug. Tftc
We found this cache. But someone had dumped a large tuna fish head on the track in. We were not willing to deal with the millions of flies and the extremely bad smell so we did not go the last few feet to open the cache and sign the log.
So technically this is a DNF for us.

What a ripper! This is one of the larger caches I have seen but not the biggest. I understand the frustration of mislabelled cache sizes as I have experienced that quite a bit in the last few days.
Haha I got very wet (feet and shoes only) if you have to walk thru a drain you are in the wrong spot. TFTC

Wow what more could you ask for, it is big,it is dry and it smells great tftcdefinitely a favourite ️
Didn’t sadly find the geocache because the app was changing the location of the cache quite a bit. It was very hard to find it. We had a look at some of the photos on other logs but still could not find it Probably needs some maintenance.
This weekend, I joined gridge98 on a trip to Eyre Peninsula, primarily visiting Port Lincoln and its surroundings. We saw its famous marina full of trawlers, and we also ended up visiting Coffin Bay and enjoyed fresh oysters. A nice weekend with weather, and certainly a great vicinity to see.
After having a successful day yesterday, we awoke with motivation and optimism for the day that was ahead of us. However after having our first geocache find, a rock had hit the vehicle's oil sump, leaving the car inoperable and requiring the car to be towed to a mechanic in Port Lincoln. The morning was then spent addressing the vehicle's repair plan, and then trying to salvage the remainder of our weekend's plans. We walked around the centre of Port Lincoln, before finding a hire vehicle for us, and then the afternoon was spent driving around the area. It was interesting seeing Port Lincoln's marinas and also caught glimpse of the shark cages. We ended up drowning our sorrows in the evening (whilst celebrating gridge98's birthday) at the craft brewery, which was probably a highlight of the day.
Wow, this was one of the biggest caches that I've come across in my geocaching career! The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and even had a good whiff of volcanic cherry, due to someone's (or the CO's?) air freshener swag placed in the cache. Thanks Fair_Dinkum for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Well this cache sure does smell like cherries.
Quick find on this large cache
Well what a day it was, a day filled with more downs than ups and but overall a few caches were found in and around port Lincoln. Davidwazza and I headed to the Eyre Peninsula for a weekend away to clean up as much as we could and collect a few new LGAs for Davidwazza. This morning 2nd cache in we ended up cracking the oil sump in the car and having to sort out what to do and how to fix the issue. Lucky a mechanic was at hand and a prolonged trip was soon scheduled and a hire car was in hand. I guess things happen when you use a car for things that it’s not made to do.
Other than that a great day out.
Thanks for the cache

A visit to Port Lincoln to see relatives, we had planned on going home yesterday but stayed for another night.
A quick find and a decent cache in the countryside. A fav for the effort.
Cache was safe and sound, signed and replaced. TFTC

Yay we found it, it was very big at first we thought it was a snake bucket, lucky we didn’t have thongs on
Today my car was booked in for a service in town, so I tried a couple of local caches before my batteries ran flat. Once I had the car back, I headed out of town. I just picked a cache randomly, and this was it. A nice big and quick cache find. From here, I just headed further up the road and kept caching.
My thanks to Fair_Dinkum for the cache.

I was down in Pt Lincoln with Laighside Legends for the long weekend and our plan was to head out and cache our way towards Coffin Bay and the surrounding area. It was a warm and pleasant day to be out and all caches that were found were in reasonably good condition. As it got close to the midday event we bumped into Mr Tardis and one of the nearby caches. The nearby event was an enjoyable affair, joined my Aussie M&M, Mogni and Mr Tardis, food was eaten and stories were swapped. At the close of the event, we continued to cache around the area before finally heading back to Lincoln for an evening event. It was an enjoyable evening at the pub to end the days caching before heading back to our accommodation in preparation for our next days caching.

Exploring the country side around Port Lincoln as part of our 4 day visit to the city. Lots of interesting roads to travel, views to see and caches to find. Thanks to the COs who have placed them for our enjoyment.
Have cached with 3LG many times
Always happy to help cachers out
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find today

Caching out in the rural areas today, and wow....that is one BIG cache. Don't see too many of them around, so it was pretty special. TFTC
Bloody micros on the peninsula lol, damn that is one big cache lol, that one is bigger than anything we have hidden, can you hide some more like that one TFTC
We've taken back the trackable as we're leaving Port Lincoln and thought it would enjoy the journey.
Found on my last day in Port Lincoln between rain showers. A quick find. TFTC.
Hi there Fair_Dinkum.
We found your cache **"Big Cache"** at 3:09:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 15732).
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around Port Lincoln today. On our journey we found a wide variety of container types amongst our 19 caches (& 7 DNF's) today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
###Thanks for placing a large cache here. It is really sad to note that the trend of placing small caches (without swaps) is increasing. While nanos and eclipse tins sometimes have their place in an urban environment these, along with 200ml Sistemas, seem to be the norm these days even out in more remote areas. It made us feel really glad to find a large, kid friendly cache here.###
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

CPwanderer, GoodLook and I headed off for a weekend in Port Lincoln via an overnight stop in Whyalla
Our weekend was unexpectedly extended by a day due to illness and so my tally at the end of the 'weekend' was 168 cache finds
Sadly this was marred by a massive 28 DNFs
Port Lincoln, despite being virgin caching territory for all 3 of us, did not provide us with the pleasure that we had anticipated
So many of the caches were bison tubes and those that we did find, quite often were in places where a larger cache could have been hidden The other issue was the lack of maintenance on many caches
There are people trying their best to maintain the 'wheres wolly' cache hides however their resources are stretched thinly..... so if you are heading over, please pack heaps of cache maintenance containers, bags and log books and help out where you can. [^]
That being said, the trip was still a blast and some great caches were found and great views were seen!
Roaming Wendy very kindly came out with us for the rest of today and as a result, our find count increased as did the laughter in the car
Thank you for your company [^]
The container is huge however there's not much fun climbing into prickle bushes
At least this wasn't yet another DNF

Woo hoo, we found it! Soooooo nice to find a big cache in this area.
After messaging Roaming Wendy, she graciously joined us and jumped in our car in order to cache around Lincoln with us (as we'd not been having much fun with all of the DNFs).
Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache, with the aim of the weekend to cache in and around Port Lincoln - fresh territory for us all. We certainly had a great time, however with a DNF rate of about 40% [:(!], it was tough going! We did however thoroughly enjoy the beautiful locations and scenery.
After joking all day on the Sunday we should spend another night in Pt Lincoln, circumstances presented that meant we needed to extend our time away! We took it slowly on the way home which enabled us to once again visit some terrific places
Thanks for the cache

We know how 3LG felt!!!!! Countless micros .... lots of very rusty tins ....... lots of dnfs!!!! We just had to grab this cache ..... methinks you could fit a lot of the caches of the town inside this one hide!! A definite favourite!!!! thanks FairDinkum for the hide!!
This was one of the caches found on a three day odyssey on the Eyre Peninsula! Myself, GoodLook and locuscache had never cached south of the Cowell/Cleve area so we had high hopes of some great caching. We worked our way down through Port Neil and Tumby Bay and grabbed those along the highway plus a few a little further afield.
Our time in and around Port Lincoln was frustrating. Lots very small micros, lots of very rusty tins and more dnfs than ive ever had in a day before this. We were very fortunate that local cacher , Roaming Wendy joined as. Her expert knowledge of the town certainly helped. A medical issue had us stay a third day. This worked out very well as we could do some relaxed caching on our way home.
A special thanks to Roaming wendy for her help and to those who hid caches in the area … particularly the Geo-Ambos, Wheres Wolly and Viper231. Special thanks also to my “mildly obsessive” caching buddies on this trip …………………………… amazing fun!!

Found by Mary & David at 1440. After multiple oysters at Coffin Bay, caching was back on the agenda. Now THAT is what we call a cache container. The little one has separated from the big one though. Our thanks to Fair_Dinkum.
FTF with Vase22, Pp30 and Calamari78 good day to spend time with friends and to find a cache
