We continued today our tour of Queensland and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to Waz and Vik for the generation of this nice cache Jack's Express 1 (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. Quick find on our way through from Sydney to Gladstone. A good chance to stretch our legs after so long in the car.

Today I ventured north to CITO up a storm on the northern end of Bribie with Seffnjarah and Deznjez. We left a few hours early with the intention of collecting some interesting caches along the way.It would be a really hot day in hell for Seff to drive past a virtual cache on any Bromance road trip. With the relatively new virtual at Wildhorse mountain a "must do" , we were driving past this one and took the opportunity for a quick park and grab find. Thanks for the cache, Waz and VikPete#8,107 @ [11:21]
Nice quick find. The area where people used to pull in is now closed off and it is a construction site, but parking not an issue. I even found 50c for my troubles, courtesy of the construction workers no doubt. As its a Sunday theres no one around. Thanks for the nifty little cache.
I made a stop here on the COs suggestion for some lunch and took the short walk to collect this cache. The container was quickly spotted and the log signed. With everything returned as found I was soon on my way. TFTC
We visited this cache on our tour today. Many thanks for the cacheTeam sissifalke
Quick find today while heading back to Brisbane Airport. TNLNSLTFTCTTFNBeaker DGS
A quick find after a rest stop on our way the coast. Thanks for placing.
Out and about for a few hours to grab a few caches to increase our monthly count as the last few months have been a bit quiet due to bub. We decided to head up to the coast as theres a large swathe of caches that are easy to access plus theres a challenge were working on in the areaWe had a good idea where this cache was when we drove past it to park, after a short walk back our suspicions were bang on and the cache was in hand. We collected a couple of bottles that were around GZ, every 10c matters! Now to make our way north. Thanks for bringing us here.#4263 - TFTC
Driving past with Chamad and this is one that I had not yet stopped for. Quick stop and sign. I have often stopped at the service station here on travels north and have never thought to check if there was a cache nearby.
Final cache for the day, it was a short stroll from the servo over to GZ, where I pretended to be a roadside botanist until the muggle vehicles passed on by. Another quick and easy find to wrap up my day, thanks for the cache Waz and Vik!
My first cache find for the day and trip, and it was one that I could have easily stopped at during weekend day trips from Brisbane. I had skipped lunch, so I stopped at the nearby McDonald's for lunch-dinner ("linner"), and then thought I'd grab this geocache before returning to the highway. The cache was found reasonably quickly, and a nice sized (little) container for this nook. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [Waz and Vik](https://coord.info/PRJB8H1) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This 1.5 week trip, the purpose was the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster (QOGM) in Longreach, with its aim to encourage tourism and support in rural towns. Departing from Brisbane on Friday 15/09/2023, I travelled solo taking the northern route through Gayndah, Emerald and Jericho on my way to the event, and then returned through Blackall, Morven, St George, Goondiwindi, and Toowoomba arriving back on Monday 25/09/2023.My Longreach highlights included the two QOGM muster/rally days visiting Muttaburra and Isisford; the Qantas Founders Museum; Stockmans Hall of Fame; Silver Tails Rail Sunset Tour; and the general historical town vibe. Other highlights to/from Longreach included climbing Mt Scoria; Barcaldine's Tree of Knowledge and kayaking in the water park; Blackall woolshed scour; and the smaller intriguing and historical towns that I passed through.During my travel days when I was time-poor, I targeted geocaches that were older in age, high D-T, puzzles/challenges, and rare cache types. In addition, I added 7-8 visited LGAs to my statistics. The scenery was memorable with picturesque sunsets, and a diversity of flora and fauna. There were plenty of kangaroos and wallabies, emus, goannas/lizards, brolgas, hawks, and alas wild hogs, and goats. This afternoon, I departed Brisbane to reach Gayndah for the night. I was able to make a few stops whilst passing through / visiting Gympie and Kilkivan, and it was quite late once I arrived in the cute and charming town of Gayndah.
Quick stop here on our way from Hervey Bay to Brisbane ans a quick find as well .
Thanks for the cache!

Out for a day of caching. Didnt' take too long to find what I was looking for, sign the log and replace it. Thanks for bringing me here.
First find for today as we head north on a geocaching adventure! An easy park and grab on a beautiful Wednesday morning.
Reading Harves4556’s post i think this has disappeared when the post was replaced.
Not sure how long this will be here for as someone has run into the GZ and I’m sure council (or whoever) will be repairing/replacing it soon. The cache is still here at the moment. TFTC.
It’s been a few years between caches for me so I decided to stop and find a few on a drive up to the coast. A quick and easy find, though there were plenty of muggles around!
#8, late start due to a change of plans and caching areas. Quick find. TFTC, TFTH, TNLNSL & TFT.

Needing a particular attribute for a Paroo Challenge Cache, this was a must find for us…
A nice quick find from the seat of the car… it was the signing that introduced water into the car…

Found with Peppa on this lovely rainy morning. Definitely a jump back in the car and sign the log type of day
Working up on Sunny Coast with late start so check of map and a quick stop here later. Great timing as Semi pulled into area, blocking view of most of the muggles nearby. Tanks blocked another facing directly at gz, almost. Have found this type before so had good idea what to look for.
Healthy crop of pineapples in the fields behind gz.

On a little road trip and we stopped in here to use the cearby facilities. Before hitting the road again I thought I better check to see if there was a cache near. What do you know there is, after a short stroll all muggles cleared out and I was able to make the grab. Tftc Waz and Vik

With my Saturday morning chores done and a Sunday morning planned bike ride around Ewen Maddock Dam, I saw the perfect opportunity to knock off a few more of those sunshine coast caches, giving me time to add to that challenge in the area. A drive north saw me stuck in a 3 hr traffic jam, hmmm this is not helping. I had contacted triple turmoil and she too was happy to grab a few on the coast.
I decided to grab a few around Sippy downs area before heading towards Little Mountain and Caloundra to meet with Triple turmoil. We collected a few trads, multi’s, puzzles and labs on the afternoon before camping out. It was a fun and time did get away on us very quickly.
I did this one on the way up and after sitting in that traffic, I needed to stretch my legs. A quick find here, with log signed and cache replaced as found I was off to continue my journey. Thanks for the hide.

Pretty sure I could have parked closer, but made our way across and quickly spotted.

Found today after looking for brumbies but finding mountain views. Interesting for us to see a pineapple field!
Driving up to the Sunny Coast for the weekend. Stopped to buy some dinner for the omnivores. I’d already eaten at home so took a few moments to stretch my legs. A simple find even at night without a torch. TFTC
Having just found #2, had to come across and find #1.

Last cache of the day and we were lucky that there were no muggles around except for the odd passing car. MrsWallaby played tourist - pretending to take a photo of a kookaburra perched on the powerline just above the cache. TFTC
