This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

If you are scared of spiders I recommend bringing someone who isn’t couldn’t stay long enough to find
Searched the area for about 15 minutes with no luck gave up and went to the beach.
with the rain getting heavier, i didn't want to spend too long here. will be coming back on a drier day to find this and finish the mystery code
Left the track to come and find this one, after 2 mins of poking around I soon saw something which looked out of place, and yep there it was! Thanks
OK though my job I know quite a bit about Sir Joseph Banks so I decided to do this cache in his honour as I was in the area.
Even this far from La Perouse parking was at a premium. How do people who live here have friends come and visit?
I found somewhere for the geomobile and walked what appeared to be the most direct route. The track wound around through a nice bushland area. Eventually I was heading in the correct direction and realised I was actually not far from where the geomobile was resting.
I had an idea of what the cache might be considering the cache name. Once the GPS said <10m I began carefully looking at things. A muggle came along and began training her puppy to sit and stay on the nearby track, obviously thinking it was a quiet area. She hadn't noticed me and I hoped the puppy didn't spot me and spoil its training. All good!
I couldn't find anything matching my ideas and slithering things in the grass and leaves put me off quite a bit and I thought of messaging the CO. Then I spotted it!!
Definitely where the CO had placed it in my opinion but the container needs some TLC as does the log which was all torn up so I couldn't get the clue.

Phew! Found on my second attempt after some help from the CO. Do reason why I should’ve found it the first time...I think I got psyched out by the previous DNF’s and assumed it was missing. It’s perhaps not in its original state, but still well hidden. TFTC!
Found it thanks to and additional owner hint, many thanks marj01!
Probablu one of our favourite caches!

Had a good long look for this one with no luck. Will definitely keep my eye on this one and return in the near future.
Hi, I think this cache needs maintenance. We found it on the ground and were unsure where it should live. The log was saturated unfortunately. It looks like the area was slashed recently so maybe that cause the damage. We placed it at the base of the tree with a discarded beer bottle. Hope it can be restored
Found this one but I’m not sure we found it where it was meant to be. Have messaged the owner for maintenance.
This was fun. Great location along the bush tucker track, and very ingenious hide! Took a little to find, but that is all part of the fun. Not too many muggles this afternoon, so made searching easier. TFTC
Being in the area for work this was very close so decided it was daily exercise time. After leaving the boat shed we headed over to this one. Some many webs and spiders we almost decided to give up but we suspected want we were looking for so kept looking. In the end we found part of the hide with the log on the ground so after signing the log spotted the camo to try and put it back together but suspect it needs some TLC. TFTC

Came out here for Kamay parkrun this morning, and looked for a few caches before heading home. This one was the closest to the start/finish area for parkrun, so an obvious one to look for first.
We carefully dodged the huge spiders and their webs, and made it safely to GZ. Took a few minutes of looking, but eventually bikerbuddy spotted the hide.

Quick check with geoson Superdog9, and found part of it on the ground, quick fix and all good to go
Found the cache however it seems that it needs to be looked at. The cache in the Camo was gone
Another find while on a geocaching holiday with tmann421

*Thanks for helping make our tour around fun!*
Stamped logs as TM/WW NZ or our full user names or tm421/ww9 in pen.
Nice walk and cache hide - took us a while but ww9 spotted it.

What a great pocket of bush land. The further you get away from the main part of town the less people. This one had me scratching my head and I think I wore a track, walking back and forth in the same area. I just couldn't spot it and just as I was going to try a new method, I spied the odd one out. I really do like your style. Awesome hide.
What an adventure this series was. Found this arvo and into the sunset to nightfall with [@geoket](http://coord.info/PRGGGM1) and @cache_me_if_you_cam .
Geoket really early on guessed what the cache could be but even with that said it took us 20mins to find this cache. Lots of spiders with one even going down the bra. (#facepalm)

Another well crafted cache and excellent camo. No need to venture too far up the path and disturb our big 8 legged friends. TFTC!
Found at 12:34 PM GAFF3.
Gosh - is this golden orb town! There were hundreds of them! Couldn't pass between 2 trees without brushing away a heap of web and spiders
Cache was very well disguised and you really had to focus and spot the difference.
Thanks marj01
Feedback: The log sheet was just a scrap of paper and there was no clue for the "La Perouse mystery code".

Had to be at La Perouse this morning for some sporting activities and took the opportunity to collect some caches after that. First the series to solve the Perouse mystery and then a great walk through the national park to pick up a few more. Good craft on the camo!

I had an opportunity to search for caches while waiting for my father-in-law to fly in from Tassie. I parked at the Yacht club and headed down the path. Once at GZ I searched some of the nearby objects, unsuccessfully, so headed down to Bob before returning. This time I did a bit of research that allowed me to be more specific in where to search, and this time I spotted the camo - CIH! TNLNSL, TFTC

Yesterday the coords were jumping and I didn't 'come to the right place, although I knew what I was looking for (thanks to wikipedia...). Today was more successful! Thanks a lot for this nice cache!

Found with sesblocker. We have ventured out of Sutherlnd Shire to do some caching around the Eastern suburbs today, despite the yuck weather.
Good coords and nice sneaky hide! Took 3mins to find.

Took its time to reveal itself but eventually it gave itself up. Okay stop looking, here I am. Number taken and onto the next, thanks marj01
Quick and easy but well hidden. Cache and logbook are dry. SL TFTH TFTC Thanks marj01 for the series.
Based on the name, I knew what I’d be looking for here as I’d tried to make one of these caches in the past but failed. At GZ I stood still and let my eyes do the work and it only took a few moments to spot this fella. Nicely done marj01.
Very clever container. Well camoflaged. We did not have to hang around. Tftc MattyH from Tassie
Awesome disguise. Log had fallen out and was wet. I replaced it in the disguise but didn't have dry paper on me
marj01 I found your cache Hanging around with Sir Joseph Banks on 24/6/18, 1:41 pm. This is my find 2016 and find # 3 today. No need to go up and battle the spiders in their web, there's a lot of them. Clever idea. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
Nicely made cache. The container with the log had come out and was lying below, but I put it back in after signing the log and it seemed to go back in tightly. TFTC. Well done.
Last cache for the walk with BabyJMan
Got to GZ easily, parked the bike on the trail and locked it. Saw the cacher trail and followed the GPS. Could see where cachers had searched so looked there without luck. Expanded the search and with the clue had an idea of what we were looking for.
Was about to give up and then looked in a new area and made the sneaky find - another really well constructed cache. You're draining all my Favourite Points
I think coordinates may need adjusting - you don't have to go as far off the main track as they suggest.

Have seen one like this before on the Bondi to Coogee walk ;p They can often be quite hard to spot... took us a little bit but we found it in the end. TFTC!
Find 2 of 2 while out walking from Phillip Bay to La Perouse collecting clues for the La Perouse mystery code.
What a sneaky hide, well done! Loved the camo and was nearly about to give up on finding this one when I spied the clever hide. Signed the log and noted the clue.
Thanks for another great cache in this series marj01, looking forward to coming back and completing more of these.

Relatively quick find. Had an idea of what we were looking for and it paid off. tftc
We had an idea of what we were looking for but mmmmm which one. Just used our geo aense and wasnt long before CIH TFTC
Fantastic camo.
Favourite for that alone.
It almost eluded me, but for a glint of something out of place and the fairly defined geo-track.
Log was very damp, but still sign-able.

I headed up to Sydney with Pacgirl to visit Snoopy for a few days. Sightseeing, socializing, and maybe even a 'little' caching .
Up early to do the local parkrun here in Kamay and there was just time for 1 cache the 7am start. I didn't hang around for long before locating the clever camo .
Thanks, marj01.

So clever, great work!!! Don’t rely too much on exact coordinates, just use your intuition
Continued on from Bob. Lovely walking track. Saw lots of birds with crow heads and magpie tails. I wonder what they are? Took us a white to pinpoint GZ for this one but once at the right angle we found what we were expecting to find. Again a great job on the camo. TFTC!
Last December I spent ages here for a DNF when the cache was MIA, today it was a quick find, thanks.
#4409 (3 of 4 today)
I needed to pay a bill - one of the few I prefer to pay in person. And that put me near Anzac Parade - which meant I could head south for some cachey goodness.
While this date meets my target of five finds, it only just meets it, soooooo... OK, I found four.
Then on the way home I made two stops to firm up GZ on a multi - and didn't have to go too far out of my way for either.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Decided on one more before returning to my first target of the day.
Familiar car park, then a walk along a familiar path. Spotted a track towards GZ so took it.
A hunt around resulted in nothing. I'd assumed one of two types of camo, and soon realised which of the two it would really be. But no sign of it.
Checked a few logs - OK, coordinates are out. So pushing my assumption to the max I checked around and found one, then another possible spot... Ah, there you are.
Well, all I'll say is that it is closer to the main track then GZ suggests.
Completed signing duties and replaced. Also grabbed the clue.
Now let's see if I can get that first target.

We wasted a lot of time in the wrong place! Almost give up! What a great camouflage! TFTC!
After following others note we realised that it was definitely a lot harder than expected. VERY well camo-ed so keep a very close eye. Matches its clues very well! Found with myself, Ant and Jade

Man...this was a VERY sneaky cache. Excellent, excellent camo. We kind of knew what we were looking for but still had to PAF who'd previously found the cache. Thanks GeoSoccerKids! Friend confirmed what we suspected which was that the coordinates are a bit out (probably 8-10m) but we got there in the end. Thanks for this fabulous trail....we've had a blast
TFTC,
Now there is one of the most famous Botanists.
Our target for today was to complete a couple of small series in the area.
Parked near the Tower and ignored it till we returned from an enjoyable walk.
After a great morning, the sun left us when we arrived but came back when we were reaching the final.
Visited trackables.

After dropping off my better half at the airport I took the opportunity to do a bit of geocaching around La Perouse.
A nice stroll along the waterside and some interesting art work brought me to the next cache. I am not sure who Sir Joseph Banks is, but I am sure he was a keen geocacher. He left a very cleverly hidden cache at this spot.
Thanks for the cache.

Today I spent on the other side of Botany Bay. It was good for 16 finds and two DNFs.
First of six, found it the second attempt.

Locating GZ for this cache involved a certain amount of walking about in circles. Having located the area, it became clear that we had an abundance of possibilities. However, as always Ms Atalanta (bless her) noticed something anomalous that at first glance I would have missed, and so we soon had CIH.
Another favourite. Thanks to marj01 for the four well thought out caches we found today.
