Cache check- as it was very wet, I replaced the container, log and pencil. All good now.
Cache is very wet inside and needs a better sealed container. Loves the sign post and loving this countryside!TFTC!
Reperio 12:01Today I headed out towards Oberon, and with that came the chance to pick up a few caches, especially some of the TRLT series. Found the cache without the need for too much of a search, however the container broken.Gratias WaywardWomanAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

We are on a cachey 10 day holiday, starting off with 2 nights at Emu Plains to hopefully collect the new GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and some more of the Band caches north of Penrith. Then it’s 5 nights at Oberon to collect some of the many new & old puzzle caches that we have solved around the area, and also hoping to complete the Oberon Adventure Lab. After leaving Oberon we will be visiting Jenolan Caves, for both the caves and the Jenolan EarthCache, then heading to Katoomba for 2 nights to ride the Scenic World attractions (Railway, Cableway, & Skyway) and to do a few caches of various types plus an Adventure Lab. We will end the holiday with a stop-off at Wentworth Falls for some more caches and a couple of Adventure Labs.
Today we will be visiting the Oberon & District Museum in the morning (open 10:30am to 12:30pm), then after lunch we will be travelling some of "the roads less travelled" to collect some of the TRLT cache series, and also any other caches we come across along the way. This was our 21st find of the day (day 5), and 100th find of the holiday.
Continuing along the TRLT trail, and this was the next one we came to. And it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. And that's the last TRLT cache for us today, and we will now take Hazelgrove Road back to Oberon. TFTC WaywardWoman.

Thanks to everyone involved in creating caches and trails for us to enjoy.
Need some caches with alt above 1000m so Oberon is the target.

With the COVID19 restrictions lifting, we decided to head to the Bathurst area this long weekend on a Geomission with Rapidlywild.
We hit the road early and resisted the urge to stop along way. We decided to attack the TRLT trail and others around the area. We had a great four days, only a few DNF’s but mostly smiley's, and have left plenty for another adventure.
Lovely area to cache in and we look forward to coming back for some more fun and laughs.
Thanks for the hide WaywardWoman and thanks Rapidlywild for another great weekend away.

With COVID19 locking everyone down for so long, a MUCH overdue geocaching mission was welcomed. FurfacesLL #1 and myself decided to head towards Bathurst and attack some of the TRLT caches and see how far we can go. Spoke to a few of the CO's prior to heading up to see if we could assist with any maintenance that was required, so we went prepared with some camo containers and some fresh log books. We had a wonderful weekend stretching the legs and enjoying the country side.
This was the last TRLT cache for this evening, it was getting rather cold so we decided to make our way back towards Bathurst for some dinner and a hot shower. Will be back for more.
Thanks for the hide WaywardWoman And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

Since regional restrictions for Covid 19 are lifting tomorrow, I am re-enabling all my TRLT caches. Please remember to use sanitizer before and after handing caches and stay safe!
Happy caching.
Happy caching.
Today I planned my adventure tour along the TRLT Trail in Meadow Flat and head south.
On the way I search and find a lot of boxes.
Again and again I am happy about the beautiful landscape and the many animals on the pastures.
Thanks to all owners for this great tour

Greetings from DARKSIDEDAN.
This weekend I went on a caching trip and managed to get about 165 caches for the weekend. Your cache was one of the 165 caches that I signed CGG19 as part of our group signature for the five geocachers in our group. We saw loads of wildlife on our trip including 6 Wombats and loads of Roos. This was a fantastic series of caches. I cant wait to get back out and finish the rest of this series off. Thanks to the CO for the fun weekend.
Here is a little about me. At the time of this “Found It” log I have over 6750 finds and 350 Hides. I was the creator of the “Ducky Dip” Lab Cache that won 2nd Prize in the State Vs State Battle of the Labs during the OzGeoMuster – The Gong 2019. I am the owner of the largest GeoArt Series in the ACT and winner of countless Geocaching Prizes. I have got 200 plus caches in one day and I have also got 12 cache types in a day.
There is nothing that I love more than being out geocaching. I will geocache anytime, anywhere, with anyone.
I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it
Geocache Poem
By DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
* * * * I am currently writing very detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author". This Badge challenges geocachers to write logs with an average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the 20th of April 2019 my average is 110 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 200 words for a long period of time to get my average up. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After more than 5500 aches (which includes all cache finds up and including today I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task very soon. Progress has been better than anticipated. * * * * *

A plan was hatched, for a group of Canberra (and one Goulburn) Geocachers to stay overnight in Bathurst on a Saturday night and cache our way there and back - mainly doing some of The Road Less Travelled series, and anything else interesting that we were near. So, on Friday afternoon All7 and I met up with Cosmonaut97, who drove us out to Goulburn where we stayed the night with MinnieK (thanks for the hospitality), and then DarkSideDan arrived in the morning and we crammed all our gear into the back of the Cosmonaut Geomobile, all 5 of us climbed in, and we embarked upon our adventure - and what a fun weekend we had! Lots of laughs, some interesting terrain to drive through, and a whole lot of cache finds - so, sorry - most of these logs will be rather generic ... (and also rather late, because I am only just catching up with all the logging now - oops)
Logs were signed as CGG19 by at least a couple of people, or possibly CGC19 by me, because that is what I have written in my notebook (except for the first one I signed, which I think I signed GGC19) ... so I guess our group name was Canberra Goulburn Geocachers, or Canberra Goulburn Cachers, or whatever else anyone else signed - lol)
TFTC - I didn't write draft logs for any of these, because it was too difficult to keep up with that as we went ... and with all the caches we found this weekend - in most cases I don't remember which bit of fun was which particular cache. I did write a few words in my note book for some of them, so I will include those below if I did.
(Unfortunately, if I don't just copy and paste the same log for all these, and try to go through my photos or something, or read the listing and get creative, to figure out different things to write, I will never be able to catch up with my logging, and I don't like being behind).
There were lots of (what the hint says) ... LOL (but still easy to find anyway

This was find #86 for day one of our geocaching adventure weekend. I had Darksidedan, ALL7, minniek and AyKayEm with me for the entire weekend. We had four wheel driving (some not planned) and had a pretty good time throughout. Thanks to all of the COs who initiated and maintain this track. TFTC.
Signed CGG19 with Group.. We enjoy drive everywhere and good Laugh... She is very good drive with 4WD.... thanks
Out caching with Cosmonaut97, ALL7, DARKSIDEDAN & Aykayem with an aim to do as many as we could on TRLT series. Signed logs as CGG19 to save space (Canberra Goulburn Group 2019).
Had a long and tiring day finding everything on our list for the day. Thank you to all CO's for their efforts in placing and maintaining the caches for others to find.
Look forward to continuing the trail when I can.

Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching.
Today we journey around TRLT caches from Taralga south, picking up others on the way.
Saw a geotrail as we pulled up. Unfortunately the container is broken and needs to be replaced. Log book is moist and could go mouldy in winter. Sorry to bear bad news.
Log signed and replaced on June 12, 2019 at 1:21 PM. TFTC, WaywardWoman.

On my way to Bathurst with oldmorty and thought we'd grab a few more of the TRLT Series. Didn't find as many as we wanted to, but there's always another day.
(The container top is cracked and needs replacing - sorry I didn't have a spare one but I did place the slightly damp log inside another plastic bag)
Thanks WaywardWoman for placing this cache here for us to find.

OCW with frazeydaze who had suggested that we grab a few more of the TRLT series on our way to visit family at Bathurst. We targeted the area between Duckmaloi and Tarana although we didn't quite reach Tarana as time ran out. All the caches found turned out to be park and grabs and were in good condition. TFTC WaywardWoman and thanks for showing us some lovely countryside.
This was our fourth day on this super long geocaching trail, and so first thing this morning we set off to where we had pulled out of the trail yesterday evening. The weather was perfect and once again we found ourselves travelling through some truly beautiful scenic countryside on interesting roads. This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero at this very attractive signpost. Unfortunately the lid of the container was broken and so the box was full of water. We emptied it out but it does need to be replaced. We signed the very damp log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Found! Needs a maw lid have closed it with the plastic on top to keep it as dry as I can
I keep crossing Cox's Road on me wanderings around the area
Here I was again !!
This cache took a few laps of the hiding spot to locate.
The grass grows well out this way and covers everything including geocaches
Needs a new box this one !!

This area pretty today with lots of orange flowers around, brightening up the grey day.
After a night in a motel in Blayney, we decided today to head home via some unfound TRLT caches and complete the hidden creatures souvenir challenge for the month. We had a great time enjoying the quiet roads, taking in the scenery, and finding the caches. TFTC!

Went up from Sydney to Newnes for the weekend. Camped at Newnes Ruins Campground, surrounded by kangaroos, possums and a wealth of birds. On Saturday we headed out for some caching, and came up to this section of the TRLT series.
Agree with previous log, the CO has done lots of effort to put these in place.

Back today to do more of this fun series. We love the rural areas so this sort of caching suits us just fine. A lot of work has gone into putting out these caches and we are grateful to the co. Thanks to WaywardWoman for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

A quick and easy drive by while we were in the area. See GC6MKZQ TRLT - No Ducks Here for our master log for this series. The grass was super long at this stop, but it didn't slow us down for long. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Day 2 of our trip away. Stayed in oberon last night and thought we would head out here to collect a few extra smiley faces. Thankyou for the cache .
The Road Less traveled weekend two around Oberon. Day 2. After a great night at Bummeroo ford, I went on the TRLT trail for the day, ending up just past Oberon and spending the night there.

Hi there WaywardWoman.
We found your cache **"TRLT - Cox's Road"** today. (This makes our find count 17719).
Today we headed out from Oberon so we could attempt some more of the "TRLT" series, plus any others we came across on our travels. We started at "Pine Cone Corner" & from there we proceeded to log caches up to "Stumpy" before heading back to camp. We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds, but please excuse our boilerplate logs - we know it's not really a good excuse, but it is really difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]
We found 26 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** Most containers and log books were in good shape but some require a little "maintenance".
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

We went out for a few caches for the second pirate challenge. It was nice to be out and about even in the wintry wind. The lid of the container is cracked and the log is damp but still usable. Sorry that we did not have anything with us to replace it. Many thanks for the caches.
It is good to have caches so close to home when they are needed for a souvenir. We enjoyed out short drive and are grateful for COs who place and maintain caches. Thanks WaywardWoman.
Three geocachers (mizmaz, envirogirl86, and myself) embarked on a monumental long weekend to complete as much of TRLT series as we could. (Apologies for the generic log). Awesome series!! TFTC!
3 girls (Mizmaz, StumbleTrip and myself), a car, a gps and a sense of adventure resulted in 198 caches over 3 days. And, of course, we decided to go on our adventure on the coldest weekend in 110 years.
Sorry for the generic log, however most of the caches we found (162/165 in total) were in good condition and were quick, easy finds. Thank you for placing these caches in such a beautiful and interesting area.

Having completed the northern end of TRLT nearly two years ago with the Rats, was now time to tackle the southern end during a three day roadtrip with StumbleTrip and Envirogirl86. Smilies gained on 162/165 (with the other 3 either disabled or several dnf logs before us) plus a number of bonus trads/puzzle finds along the way. Though reported as the coldest weekend in 110 years, daylight hours were thankfully quite pleasant and made for a fun girl’s weekend. Apologies for generic logs but all were fairly easy finds with mostly good co-ords or obvious camo.
