I was surprised at how close to this area I was just last week as I continued along Homestead Road to the sharp bend and looked for somewhere suitable to park the geomobile. I didn't want to have too much of a hike up the hill!
It was a bit tricky on this blind corner finding a suitable place.

Once again I was more than a little concerned about the possibility of slithery sticks in the long grass surrounding GZ.
I stomped over and fortunately the cache was a quick find and I didn't find anything else.

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Emu Plains for a short 4 day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore the areas around Emu Plains, Penrith, Glenmore Park, Cranebrook, Castlereagh, Lapstone, Glenbrook, and Blaxland. Will be concentrating our efforts on collecting the Glenmore Park Puzzle GeoArt and the Puzzled Hearts GeoArt caches, all of which we had solved before leaving home, and also hoping to complete the local Adventure Labs along the way. This was our 21st (last) find of the day, and 121st (last) find of the holiday.

A nice quick roadside "park & grab" on our way to the Motorway, and our very last cache find of the holiday. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Nice district views from GZ. TFTC Ev4d.

OCW The Bebes today with Glenmore Park being our main focus. Perfect caching weather allowed us to keep going all day.

This took waaaay longer than it should have for this type of cache. Reading past logs helped, which really shouldn’t have been necessary but sometimes even obvious hides can turn tricky. Thanks Ev4d.

Out for another epic days caching with marj01; this time around Erskine Park, Orchard Hills, Kingswood, St Marys and Ropes Creek, suburbs that I would never have visited if I wasn't for geocaching. We found lots of caches; mainly nanos, minties and a few small sistemas plus a good old ammo can.

A big thank you to all the CO's who placed and maintain these caches.

This was the only unfound cache in this area so it was on the to do list today to be converted to a smiley.
I have been all over this area in past years but had not been to this location before.
This guy took me longer to find than it should have but then that is good hiding.
The GPS would not settle here so I hunted where it was eventually found and along the fence line as well.
Thanks to Ev4d for placing this cache for us to find.

Second cache for the evening. I'm glad I did this one at night, I really enjoyed looking out over the lights in the distance.

I've always wanted to hide a cache around here because the view to the south west is intriguing. Looking over the properties out to the back end of the Liverpool area is a sight. I just would have Heiden the cache in a more interesting hide. TFTC

Nice way to finish the week. TFTC

09-Aug-16
The last time I was in Penrith I knocked over most of the caches in this series, including the one just over the M4 at Orchard Hills, but I missed out doing the two here as they didn't show up on my app's map at the right time. So today I made them the first stop on the caching run I was doing while waiting to pick up my geo-widow. As the cache names promise, both were quick park & grabs ... though this one wasn't where I expected it to be so needed a second look before I had the cache in hand. Thanks Ev4d ... just what I needed to start mt caching run.

03-Aug-16
Out on a morning cache run with JJCC around St Clair and Penrith. In total we picked up nine caches with another two DNFs.

Parking near the dirt road we walked over to GZ and started search...and searching. Finally made the discovery in a spot we had looked at previously...but obviously not in that exact spot. With the cache safely in hand we both signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition.

The following TBs came through for the mileage - Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling.

Out on with Team Merlin for a few caches..

Parking near by we walked towards to GZ. Looking at Gz not making a find until we rechecked an area we had already searched and found it. With cache in hand we both signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Cache 7 of 9

After picking up our first in this series two days ago, we thought we'd take another pleasant lunchtime drive to attempt a couple more. It's quite a nice spot but a real pity that people seem to think it's somewhere to dump rubbish.

Thanks Ev4d.

We parked off the road at GZ and ate our lunch rolls whilst enjoying the lovely view. Thanks for the cache, Ev4d.

I found it quick smart, it was in the first spot I checked.

After an attempted walk (cut short due to drizzle) and coffee in Riverview shopping centre Windsor I decided to brave the elements with a drive to Penrith driving through more rain on the way over before a break in the weather presented itself. I managed to pick of six drive byes in clear weather.

My third find for the morning. Found a park 10mtrs from the cache, a quick grab from a familiar hide. Replaced as found after signing the log. tftc

Streak Day #1091 - Out early this morning so made a find before heading to work. Quick find again. TFTC

05-Jul-16
After going to a 6 year old tenpin bowling party I realised at 9pm I still needed to find my cache for the day. I parked on the dirt road and made a quick find SL #2596 on streak day #1461 I was curious as to where the dirt road went to and so I headed on, had to give up when there was a giant hole in the road and the ground was a bit soft from the rain, so turned around and nearly got bogged. That would have been an interesting conversation if I needed to call for help as to why I was down this road. Alls well that ends well.

03-Jul-16
Found this one and really enjoyed the view on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Thanks for placing the cache at such a beautiful spot.

30-Jun-16
We found this cache in the obvious place so it was very quickly retrieved. The log was then duly signed and all was replaced where it had come from. It was then back to the geo vehicle to continue the hunt. Thank you Ev4d for the series of caches that you have placed to be found and enjoyed by us as well as our fellow cachers.

23/6/16. 11:14 AM. Cache #3944.
4th of 14 finds today in Orchard Hills, Caddens & Jordan Springs.

All my finds today were very quick & easy - most of them park and grabs but a couple of them needing a short walk of under 200m. Zero DNFs. Not much more I can say about them, individually. TFTC.

From #14 headed to this one. Pulled up nearby and had a look at the obvious. Felt around and nothing. Stepped away and started to look again. Another car pulled up. It was Gatherer Hade. I had met him at the GCNSW event on Sunday. He took a look and spotted it quickly. I just didn't look close enough obviously. I appreciated the help though. TFTC

#3130 (11 of 12 today) (Streak day 400)

So finally the streak hits 400! I'm not planning on keeping it going much longer - and the new challenge cache guidelines limit streak caches to 365 (I do wonder why not 366 to include the occasional leap year).

To celebrate I thought I'd grab a good swag of finds, and then I remembered I still needed to "Catch Them All"!
So headed out west, with #9 on my mind - and grabbing the respawned #3 as well.

Got 12 out of 13 - including a previous DNF. I'll take that.
Then ran into another cacher at my final three finds.
Top day.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Arrived to see the car I'd spotted at *#14* parked near GZ.
And a familiar face, having met **thomo31** at the Geocaching NSW event just two days ago.
Small caching world!

The cache hadn't been located yet, so I made my way to where I thought it was and didn't immediately see it.
We both pondered and then I made the find in its ridiculously obvious placement. Facepalm!

We completed signing duties and had a small chat. **thomo31** mentioned *#16* was also nearby.
Will I or won't I? Silly question really.

I spent the morning packing my car ready for a weekend out caving. But once that was done, i still had to find some caches before heading off to work. With a recent bunch of new caches around Penrith, this was the ideal hunting ground.
A quick park and grab.
Thanks for the cache.

12-Jun-16
An early start to the morning gave me easy and muggle free access. Geodog was in no mood to cache today as she wasn't allowed out of the car so luckily these PnG series means only a few minutes are need to find and sign.
Thanks Ev4d for this series.
