Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a few days in Grafton. It was after lunch before we set off to explore using Geocaching as our guide.TFTC Baby Birt
TftcOut and about for an afternoon of caching up near Grafton for a bit of a change. Another nice easy find. The container is becoming brittle but the log was still dry.
With a long weekend in front of me and a challenge cache in Brisbane on the radar it seemed a perfect opportunity to good to miss to not head south and chase the caches i need to successfully claim the cache. After spending the night in Grafton at the Crown Hotel I woke early and started the hunt for local caches with a view of working my way towards Coffs Habour.I found a safe place to park the car and made my way to ground zero where the cache was quickly located. The log was removed and signed and replaced the cache safely in its hiding place.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers

Rolling north and breaking up the trip with a few caches.

I saw on my geo-map that it was easy to get off and then back onto the highway here, so figured it would be a good place to get out of the driver's seat and stretch my legs. It proved to be just that and a quick find followed.
Thanks for placing this cache Baby Birt. Hopefully, I can complete the trail sometime when I'm back in the area with time on my hands.

When we looked at the map we realised we were on the wrong side of the road, so we used the gravel trap to turn around. Once we got over the road we decided to try and see how close we could get before getting out of the car. Turns out, very close. If Dad had slightly longer arms we probably could have gotten the cache without even taking our seatbelts off.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
We've been holidaying down in Coffs Harbour for the week. When we've been able to get to geomonsters out of the pool at the resort, we've been out and about exploring this beautiful part of the world.
Now it's time to head off back home. But first we're staying with family at Ballina for a few days, so why not pick up a cache or two on the way north?
This was a nice quick find, although get covered in cobwebs. Yuck.
That's it I think as the geomonsters are getting hungry, so we need to find somewhere for lunch.
This was number 58 for our trip.
Thanks!!

Pulled over to swap drivers and thought ‘this looks like a prime spot for a cache’. Great park and grab! TFTC
Found a suitable park and walked back for this one. It was not where we speculated, but still found easily.
It was only a short trip today as we moved from Grafton to Woolgoolga. Couldn't get a site on the way up, so decided to take the short trip back to spend some time at the beach!
As usual we made some short diversions and some stops to pick up some caches along the way. Once in town we set up and looked for some caches nearby and completed the Adventure Lab. The place has changed a bit since we were here last. Biggest loss is the local Indian Restaurant with the elephants. What a shame!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Baby Birt.

Nice find. Good spot although watch for traffic. Lovely outback roads make for an enjoyable drive
Fantastic trail on the back roads i love to take.
This time i am bike touring south and decided to see how long it would take to ride and search for 17 geocaches. It was only about 40kms but took me 7hrs and almost all my phone battery. Experiment complete, i will now be more conservative with my geocaching, while touring.

The junior Pitman Clan member wanted to keep his streak going with a second find but his mum came along and found it for him after he spent a few minutes having a good old stare at it without realising it was the cache! TFTC
#3668 A quick find. Cache in good form. Interesting tree formation in this area. TFTC.
Found tyftc. Having a week caching our way from newcastle to brisbane. Find #1/1680
A good hint lead to a quick find it. We signed the log and can see that there is just one to go along this road. It has been a pleasant diversion to leave the bigger freeways today and take our time meandering along some of the quieter roads, although this one still has a reasonable amount of traffic on it.
Thanks Baby Birt!

On the way back to Brisbane from our holidays in port maquarie we decided to pick up some smileys . On the way to port macquarie we picked up the cache near the corner of the highway and we saw this would be a nice cut through on the way home. I liked the hint for this one. Thanks for showing us the way home. We enjoyed this drive. Thankyou
Today we are travelling from Casino to Angourie and grabbing some caches along the way. We have completed the trail in reverse lol TFTC Baby Birt
First cache for the day and the last in this series. Did number one a few days ago and would have done the rest of the series except we had to go from our overnight stay at MacLean to Grafton this morning to get fuel before we could head south.
Maybe next time we're up this way.
Thanks, a quick find at GZ.

one muggle watching nearby but far enough away to have no real clue what I was doing, realistically he was probably answering a phone call or text. tftc
Nice quick find, Travelling home to Brisbane from Coffs Harbour completing the mystery at the museum as I go. TFTC Baby Birt!
