Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a few days in Grafton. It was after lunch before we set off to explore using Geocaching as our guide.TFTC Baby Birt
TftcOut and about for an afternoon of caching up near Grafton for a bit of a change. An easy corner find. Snug and dry in its hidey hole
Quick find on the way to wooli for 7 days camping. Tftcsl all in good order
With a long weekend in front of me and a challenge cache in Brisbane on the radar it seemed a perfect opportunity to good to miss to not head south and chase the caches i need to successfully claim the cache. After spending the night in Grafton at the Crown Hotel I woke early and started the hunt for local caches with a view of working my way towards Coffs Habour.I found a safe place to park the car and made my way to ground zero where the cache was quickly located. The log was removed and signed and replaced the cache safely in its hiding place.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Quick stop off the highway from Coffs to Brunswick heads. Wasn't quite where I was expecting but an easy find once you look around. Tftc
Were staying in Grafton overnight, so decided to spend the afternoon doing this series. TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it

Now this is weird. I've been here before and I knew where the cache was! I'm sure I signed this one a while back when my wife and I were in visiting as she was doing family heritage stuff. I guess I just forgot to log it. Well, it's now done. Thanks for the geo-fun.

I saw on my geo-map that it was easy to get off and then back onto the highway here, so figured it would be a good place to get out of the driver's seat and stretch my legs. It proved to be just that and quick find followed.
Thanks for placing this cache Baby Birt. Hopefully, I can complete the trail sometime when I'm back in the area with time on my hands.

We pulled off the highway and ducked off the road to grab this cache. We had a fair idea of what we were looking for, but we had to search a few places before finding it.
The old and new structures had us second guessing ourselves and it was in a slightly more secure location than we were expecting, although it isn't exactly hidden away.
Thanks for the cache!

We've been holidaying down in Coffs Harbour for the week. When we've been able to get to geomonsters out of the pool at the resort, we've been out and about exploring this beautiful part of the world.
Now it's time to head off back home. But first we're staying with family at Ballina for a few days, so why not pick up a cache or two on the way north?
This was a nice quick find in the drizzle.
This was number 57 for our trip.
Thanks!!

Found lots of stuff to catch the fingers but nothing hanging around. Very busy intersection got lots of looks from locals passing by.
Fantastic trail on the back roads i love to take.
This time i am bike touring south and decided to see how long it would take to ride and search for 17 geocaches. It was only about 40kms but took me 7hrs and almost all my phone battery. Experiment complete, i will now be more conservative with my geocaching, while touring.

First for the day
This intersection was always the sign that we we’re almost in Grafton.
Or heading out for a surf at Minni.

Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, jesswrigley and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, jesswrigley and I travelled from Coffs Harbour to Robina, Gold Coast. We started out the day with breakfast in Coffs Harbour, and then visited Richmond Valley Council LGA driving through Woodburn, Rileys Hill, Broadwater and Wardell. Lunch was had in Ballina, exploring some of the coastline, and then we proceeded north across the Qld/NSW border and stopping in Tweed Heads and Coolangatta to complete an Adventure Lab there. A final drive was then made to Robina. Weather appeared to be mixed today, with a number of intermittent heavy rain showers and dry window durations.
We made a stop here just off the Pacific Highway in order to visit this LGA. After stopping and jogging out to GZ, we made the cache find, but it wasn't exactly where the hint showed us. The cache wasn't hanging, but in fact it was more **post**. The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook was very full, and is in need for a replacement soon. Thanks Baby Birt for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

After a morning riding ferries and bikes, we returned for another lot of caches and exploring this area, one I've driven through a lot, but never ventured off the Pacific Highway. Our main target this afternoon was to finish off the Glenugie-Tyndale Trail, which we did (with one pesky DNF)....
Last one - Samuel nailed it as I checked somewhere else. Some more of the snake heebees here!
Only then did we realise how far down we had come, time to head back.... Thanks for a fun series! FP her for the trail....
