Another dry lake - the lack of water in the area is very pronounced. Despite accurate coordinates, it took a few minutes of hunting before locating this cache in an unusual hide. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Lisa.kenny13 for this and your other hides in the area.

While staying at the RV camp here, we went out this morning to do some caching with ilook4geo. It was a fun day and we found some interesting containers. All logs had two more names noted in the next space before the container was put back into place. Not sure that anyone would ever come here for a picnic or BBQ. Lake is still dry but there is at least a cache to be found. Thanks go to Lisa.kenny13 for this cache placement.

Staying at the RV camp nearby and picking up some caches with goingplaces2 around the Nyah district. Found all caches we looked for and signed the logs. TFTC.

Suscoe was out today enjoying another gloriously sunny Swan Hill day.
It had been near to zero overnight but today made up for that with beautiful sunshine, no wind to worry us and blue skies from one horizon to the other.
We headed to the north of Swan Hill today taking in Nyah and Tooleybuc and many places in between.

Thanks to Lisa.kenny13 for this hide, it is certainly dry in the lake and the cows in the distance were looking happy.

After lunch we did a circuit travelling into NSW & home again via Victoria.
Found quite a number of unloved caches today.
Thanks for placing this cache Lisa.kenny13

TFTC. We are camped at Tooleybuc Sports Club for a few nights. Today after a night of Thunder and rain, we used geocaching to do a bit of exploring around the area. Great day 25 finds and 2 DNFs. The overcast weather and the GPS on the iPhone made life a bit difficult as it took a lot longer to settle than usual. We got there in the end.
Heading back to Tooleybuc via the “back road” caching as we go.
Looked around and then read a previous log. That gave us a pointer.

Sometimes me bike rides around random areas,
results in a cache find like this one Smile
Who but locals know this place even exists Big Grin

I do now,
and while the neighbours tore off around their paddock in the paddock basher,
I found this cache unnoticed [^]

TFTC ...
... though I dow worry about its survival if somebody actually uses this spot for its intended purpose Wink

My last day of geocaching in the Swan Hill area for now. I am moving on to St Arnauds for a few days. A quickish find at this cache for me. TFTC.

With Fitzy_1965 we headed off towards the Murray River near Swan hill. Lots of driving with great river banks to be explored on four rivers along the way. Day 3. After a cockatoo filled night at Chah Singh Reserve we headed further towards Swan Hill, via the Wakool River and Toolybuc. We after a dash to the outskirts of Swan Hill we ended up camping near Nyah on the Murray River, no cockatoos this time. This spot looks a bit abandoned.

Thanks.

15,164. Found during a long weekend run down through the Lockhart, Jerilderie, Deniliquin, Moulamien, Tooleybuc and Nyah regions with Albida33.

After camping down by the river near the cache Chah Singh last night, we packed up and continued along our planned caching trail. This was the next find for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, returned the cache, and headed off to the next one.

Thanks to all the COs for putting out their caches !

Moneydork and Mrs Moneydork had very kindly invited me, last November, for a caching trip to Victoria over the Australia Day weekend [:X]
A massive trip with 13 DNFS Sad and 318 Smile finds over 7 days and many kilometers of travel Cool
My knees don't want to bend anymore after a massive ride on the Ballarat Skipton Rail Trail and then about 145 finds the next day while finishing the Dad's Mt. Disappointment Driving Lesson series [xx(] Wink Seems my driving lesson was about me keeping both feet on the ground as I broke my own record by doing the autumn leaf thing 4 times in one day SurprisedRed Face [xx(]
Still a fantastic trip with great sights and lots of cache finds [^]Cool

Today was the day we travelled back to Berri from Swan Hill and I think Swan Hill is going to be up there with Port Lincoln for one of the hardest places to caches and where the most DNFs get logged Sad Micro caches with no hints or hard to understand hints are not always fun Sad
Coords for me were about 6m off today however think like a geocacacher and you will find the cache .... just like I did even after Moneydork said that he had looked there Razz
