Logs
In the time I have placed this cache, it has been muggled four times. It defeats the purpose of placing them if, as a cache owner, I can not see the history of names who have visited, on the physical log. Thankyou
It took us 2 tries. Well hidden. My fellow geo saw me give up first time. But NO... we were determined to find it. It was well hidden.
Took some searching but got it. Unfortunately only after a few minutes after a fellow geocacher had to give up.
Away for the weekend with omegaman and Happy pants, signing the logs under the team name HHO. Up early and on the road, grabbing a few caches before leaving town. Another in this little series but a lot more rubbish around this area, than any of the other find. Maybe kids have been using it, as a hangout place. Eventually found and log signed. Visited a travel bug while here.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the start of 2018 my average was only 47 words per log, which seems a long way from the 100 target. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 7000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 50 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.
Thanks leaskye for placing the cache for us to find.

Found this morning while grabbing a few caches around town. This one was soon located after a short search, looks like the gz is a popular hangout for some local kids. Thanks leaskye for the hide.

We were visiting nearby and running a little early so headed across for a look. There were a few muggles about but were far enough away to go unnoticed.
Thanks leaskye for the cache.

Thankyou this was our first Geocache. Good hiding spot. We left you a colourful surprise. 19/5/2018
Was out in open so rehid behind curtain. Found this week's ago thought I'd log this time
Startled a muggle walking her dog as I emerged from the hiding place, so luckily she was predisposed in getting the dog back onto it's lead. Signed the log and onwards to number 4 in the series TFTC leaskye
I was going to have to travel to Drouin to collect my CWA branch's entries in the Craft exhibition (yay we won prizes!!), and as Kato Potato is not only a member of my CWA branch but also my bestest caching buddy, I asked if she wanted to tag along and cache after.
By now, we were cruising around Drouin, doing drive-bys, and once the path in to this one revealed itself, we were off! We heard voices, snuck around to the back and I used some native materials to finally locate the cache. Then a huge wiemaraner came bounding over so I'm glad we'd finished replacing the cache and could walk off nonchalantly. TFTC leaskye

On a lovely excursion to Drouin with Mummy Short Legs to visit the CWA Creative Arts Exhibition (and collect our prizes) this afternoon and of course we took the opportunity to pick up a few local caches too.
We couldn't believe how many muggles were around today and were grateful for the slight cover GZ offered. MSL found a TOTT to assist with the search and revealed the cache. Signed the cute log and escape before a giant bounding dog revealed our location too definitely to its owner. Thanks for the cache leaskye

Tftc. Grabbed the other one near the cricket ground then came over a bagged this one. First time at this lovely reserve. Fireworks looming tonight.
Geogirl found this one for us today. She is now good at treasure finding working out the hint.
Tookk a little with all the distracting junk. Find 1583 at 22 September 2017 1:36 pm with The Swaggies
Out with Yorsys today. Find 5593 at 1:36 pm. A lot of junk is dumped here which we had to get through. But success in the end.

Out and about enjoying some winter sunshine and finding some caches today. We've been meaning to finish this series for a while. When we arrived at gz we found the cache in good condition, but completely out in the open on the ground. We concealed the cache but maybe not in its intended location. Lots of cubby building in progress.
Thanks for placing this cache.
Thanks for placing this cache.
I am pleased to say that after a many number of months of construction work in the area, construction has finally finished. The cache has been replaced and the Family series of 4 is back together again. Enjoy.
Cache is still out of action, my apologies. I can not reach cache as it has been behind maintenance tape for a number of months. Thankyou for understanding. I would still like this to stay here as it is one of a series.
Site of geocache is currently being used for machinery storage so will temporarily be out of action
until work site is cleared. Thankyou for understanding that muggles have no idea that they are blocking the pathway to a great cache. Hoping they will be finished their work soon???

This took a bit of fossicking but eventually found behind the curtain. All in good condition. Track into park between houses was handy. TFTC
A quick and easy find in a place I spend lots of time. Even as I have a child that plays hockey not too far away from here. TFTC
Today was a fun day - the kids and I went on a "treasure hunt" for geocaches. After finding the first two in this series, we decided to go for number 3. Catching up with the CO leaskye near the GZ (it'd been all of 5 hours since I'd seen her at parkrun in the morning), it was great to search for the hide. After a short hunt and a hint for the kids, the cache was in hand and the kids went to play in the sand. Took a sticker each for the kids, and left a golf ball - it is a sporting ground after all. Thanks for the cache, and the adventurous day.
After parking on the street, a short walk down the walkway had us at GZ and after a search the cache was found.
Thanks for this cache placement leaskye.
Thanks for this cache placement leaskye.
Surprising how well hidden this was even though there wasn't much actually hiding it. Left a TB - ECGJ6N. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Found it retrieved it signed it and replaced it after a short stroll from the car park.
Needed a cache to fill in a gap for the month. Thanks leaskye FTC.

On a Saturday arvo trip with ceebee2013 to Drouin area to hopefully find eleven caches we had not previously logged. This was number 4. TFTC.
09/07/2016 - 3.25pm - No. 605 - 4th for the day - with dgfb33.
Another sunny winters day had us out & about enjoying the weather & a bit of geocaching, luckily the fog was only in the hills between home & here. I knew where I should be looking but it took a little longer than I had thought, obviously I wasn't doing it quite right for a start & dgfb had wandered off on a "fools/gps misdirection)" quest until the moment after I made the discovery. Only had one muggle being towed by a large dog to worry about & froze where I was in the hope I wasn't spotted in such an odd position. No eye or voice contact was made so I'm hoping I got away with that one! Phew! All signed, sealed & returned to its place. Thanks for the cache.
