Out and about early this morning to pick up a few caches while the geowife completes a course. Made my way to the south side and quickly made my way to ground zero, where it didnt take long to locate the prize.Log extracted and signed. Replaced safely and off on the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for the enjoyment of others.Cheers
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 158 - Logan Day 11. Wow, the Logan event is over. I have one more day in the area before I start heading home. I had one last county to visit, so it was off to the edge of the Gold Coast to get a few caches. It was not as far as I expected and not far past Beenleigh. Once I had the county dealt with I decided to have a go at few more of the LACH Wigs. I had managed to send my pole home early, so had to skip a few fishing caches I passed today. I spent the afternoon preparing the van for leaving tomorrow and cooked dinner at the van. It has been a great visit to Logan, and there is so much more to see and do here, alongside some future caching trip. Before I went shopping I made one more roadside stop to visit this cache. No trackables at home today. Time for a rest. Thanks for the cache RoddyC49560.9 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2018 Nov The Parkville Event A#388**Albida**
After starting the day with a paddle on the Albert River, we continued to search for couple of caches in the area - before heading to the Welcome to the Village event. This was one of our finds. We signed the log.Tftc RoddyC
GCLOGAN Day 4Out with TBU1BIKESU and Grumpy Bump on a sunny day.Found the cache and signed the log Thanks for the cache . RoddyC
While Mrs poolpool was paddling down the Albert River for the GCLOGAN event, I picked up some trads in the park with the TBU's and GrumpyBump, TFTC RoddyCSadly no TB's in the inn...
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - RoddyC [^]
Today I had the entire park to myself. It was a nice walk to GZ, but it took me a while to zero in on the cache. Nice, natural-looking camouflage, I do say. Signed the log and replaced as found.
Visiting from NZ and using the opportunity to find enough caches to earn the Cosmic souvenir.A nice quick find here in a relatively muggle proof hide, so long as they don't see you disappear into the bushes. Liked the jetty nearby. Wheelchair friendly and good fishing facilities. Don't usually have these in NZ .. TFTC
After searching a few caches with CanineCubby , Mr Riley and I went for a stroll to find a few more. Mr Riley is a bit old for the dog park so he basked in the sun while I signed to logbook and left a dinosaur. TFTC RoddyC
Wait for the flood waters to go down and then this will need you attention as its location is currently under flood waters
We walked over from the previous cache and had the whole park to ourselves. Once we entered the treed area, we soon saw the cache. Its all in good condition. Thanks RoddyC
I walked on from a previous cache to this one. Made the few steps into the bush area where the cache was found safe and dry. TFTC
We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Loving our time around Gold Coast and along the coast. I was out on the scooter today and loved the freedom to grab so many caches, without the worry of traffic and parking. This was one of the finds I made.
Stopped off here where the container was found after a short search, once at GZ.
Thanks RoddyC for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

A lovely park area on my way to work today. There were so many tiny birds in these trees today chirping away. Found it in good condition and added my stamp.
Geosis has talked about this one before and now whilst in the area we had to drop by as she forgot to drop the TB she logged the other day hahaha. what a lovely parkland. It was great to see a heap of kids ride by on their way fishing on the river
Found the Lucky little Leprechaun signed best Buds and replaced in hiding spot. We also found a lucky charm which might of been with the original hide so we place it back.
Thanks for the cache

Top little spot. Tftc I've visited before and just realised I had forgotten to log. Sorted.
Tftc! Thought we would pick this one up on our way back to Brisbane from the GC

A real shame this one has been removed, it had some real history inside on my last visit. I wanted to show off the good stuff to my geo niece. No joy.
Tftc RoddyC, made the find here, plenty of wet ground after recent rains
No bugs in residence

Today, the plan was the attendance of two CITOs on the southern side of Brisbane, which included a tree planting in Eagleby, and a litter clean-up in Ormiston. Between the CITOs, I took a stop a few stops around Carbrook and Mount Cotton, which involved the targeting of oldie geocaches. A brief stop in Bayview Conservation Park also allowed me to avenge a couple of DNFs. After the second CITO, I took the drive back home and made a few last stops along the way.
This geocache was where I parked whilst exploring the area. After meeting up with Beardman75, I returned back to the car, and made a quick find of this cache on the way back. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. The small themed symbol was a little buried, so I put that back upright. There sure was plenty of debris and rubbish around this small area, that may even warrant a CITO! Thanks Sewrainbow for the cache placement, and RoddyC for its ongoing maintenance.

Found this after 2 DNF's in the area. I will say it was easy enough to find but be warned that I picked up a tick either from here or on the search from the other 2 in the area. Only knew about it when I put on my mask and it ended up in my cheeky. Was a baby one but thought to warn future cachers.
I stumbled around in the dark looking for a suitable hide but eventually found it. Thanks for the cache
My last chance for a find in Qld before heading home to NT. This was a nice TB hotel to finish with. TFTC. Ill write note about a Tb soon.
Just confirming that I finally logged my prior TB now dropped off here.

We were finally leaving Queensland and heading south! We have enjoyed being in Queensland and will be back later in the year. Heading south, we are trying to hit as many LGAs as we possibly can. We drove almost an hour and decided that we needed to give the geodogs Mini Michi, Teeny Treek and Gypsy Girl a stretch of the legs. We stopped here as there were three caches reasonably close together. We picked up a couple of trackable and left a pathtag. The cache is in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache Sewrainbow and for RoddyC for maintaining it.
Came down this way for a friend's party. Had some time to kill before I could head home today (fun party last night) as part of route home closed for a big fun run.
Quick easy find and log signed on, fingers crossed, correct log due to a 2nd cache container very close. That one was quickly drained of water and hidden under leaf debris.

On our way to the goldie for the weekend and we decided to stop in and grab a few caches. I dipped my trackables in today but there were none in the inn. Tftc
Heading for a sneaky weekend away down the Gold Coast with jodsta83 and one of my geokids!
We decided to just pull off the highway and do some random caches along the way.
This was the first stop. We had it pop up on the gps and quickly pulled in. Well I am not sure we probably should have parked where we did. Oops. With our hazard lights on we soon had it found, signed and put back in its place. TFTF

Quiet day in the park. Busy day on the road.
A nice slice of nature between the park and the road. Made my way around the protective horseshoe and signed the log.

A nice quick find. Sadly lid is damaged. Also there are no TB’s in the cache but perhaps most recent finder has not logged their find and pick up yet. Thanks for another find of a cache of yours. We’ve found quite a few today.
Cheers and happy caching!

Caching has never really been about the numbers. I drive generally over a thousand km's a week (some for work, some to explore, some for the kids, and some just because I have to) so there's always a cache or two to break up the drive. Having said that, I also enjoy numbers, fulfilling challenges, and quirky statistics. It's for this reason, I'm going to aim to fill my dates found and dates hidden this year, and a few other challenges in the local area.
Needed one for todays date and was very excited to find a TB Hotel. Was really good to find a big cache in a relatively busy and urban area. Lots of muggles around but this was safe and secure.
Thanks for the cache **RoddyC - original placement by Sewrainbow**

Great cache. Thanks for putting a large geocache in a relatively urban setting.
Continuing my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day I was back in this neighbourhood sort of again. Having just come back from a caching trip it was nice to just get a couple today, just to keep my challenges alive. This was one of the three finds for today.
The cache was in good condition, an easy find and in a great position. While it was suggested on the page there were 3 other trackables in the cache it seems when we arrived there was zero. We dropped in two trackables today for the next finder. A nice collection of key rings inside the cache and with the log signed and the cache replaced as found we were off to the next one for the day. Thanks for placing this one here.

Quick find despite my cosearchers pointing me in the wrong direction. Always follow your instinct! Tftc!
Quick easy find. Big but a little damp. Log book is dry. Only saw one trackable so left it be. X.
Great hide love these ones I enjoy leaving goodies and being able to swap. Thank you
I made that a lot harder than it should have been.... should have trusted my instincts...

Checked out our Eagleby caches today. Happy to say we found this one in good order.
It's my last week in Australia for a while, unless I'm stranded here, so what better way to cram in the caches than to join RoddyC for another maintenance run. Today we went round lots of hides in the Eagleby area, not just Rod's and got quite a haul.
Yet another spidey den. Ironically, as I escaped from the undergrowth unscathed, I walked between two road signs and got webbed big time. I naturally did what anyone would do, and freaked out. Rod was impressed by my apparent urge to demonstrate my kung-fu skills. Tftc and UTV

Came back on our way to work today. Turned this one from a frown to a smileuy thanks for replacing roddy
All good here. Took a little while until I noticed something suspicious. All but 1 of the TBs are missing. On my way home from the airport. Took my time though so I could find a few cache along the way.
