3rd of 16 found today.I approached this cache confidently given the D/T rating. Then I proceeded to make this a 5/2.5. Wow, I would have been embarrassed had anybody seen that search. The cache is in good condition and cute.TFTC Big Dad 57 and the blender.
Cute and exactly what it says it is. Plans for the day had been caboshed due to inclement weather but then it turned out nice enough to be outdoors, so I thought I would get in a caching wander around the Arboretum whilst it was nice. Then it stayed nice and as I was looking for a way to get out of what I *should* have been doing I continued on to some further caches around the Aranda Grassy Woodland reserve. Most found easily.
Got a nice picture of the cockatoos having a drink in the pond .
Cache was well hidden .
Thanks for the hide.

The frog has hopped off. I'll need a week or two for a tadpole to hatch, then I will bring it here and put it in a safe place!
After a bit of searching, we found a tether, but there is nothing attached to that.
Thanks

Today fitzy_1965 & I decided to head into Canberra to celebrate the commencement of CITO season.
After the first CITO we did a bit of caching inbetween. Fitzy had already found this one, so I diverted here before heading to the car.

Out on a (finally) sunny day for a walk and cache or two with runner5ive.
After a while looking I said “what’s that” to something on the ground a meter or two away. It was what we were looking for!
Log signed and cache returned to the correct spot.

Aramil found this one but it was definitely not where it was meant to be. I put it back where I think it should go. TFTC.
It's St Patrick's Day and since there weren't any snakes around I chose ro revisit a frog cache.
I was actually here on the 6tj of March with Joolay and Search 4 after the CITO, but then forgot to log the cache. Today, after work, I came back to add today's date next to my name and make it all official.
TFTC
You gotta love that we can get views like this 15 min after leaving work in the CBD.

An extra find with Turtle284 on the way back to the car after a walk in the Aranda bushland. Thanks for the fun!

This was one a few remaining for me in Aranda Bushland until the recent onslaught of new caches, but Injuryman and myself both took the opportunity for the find after completing the nearby Multi this afternoon. TFTC.
Earlier this year I joined the Friends of Aranda Bushland, after I saw a CITO for one of their monthly weeding parties. I’ve come along to a couple now, as I enjoy getting a bit muddy and doing some hands on conservation work. Today was the first weeding day after lockdown, it was very exciting to get back out to the snow gums area. This cache is only a 100m detour from the parking spot for the Snow Gums area, so I decided to finally come and find this cache. Did a quick lap, and found the container and its excellent friend. Easily signed and replaced in peace. A few muggles passed, but all on very speedy bikes, much too fast to question what I was doing. Thanks for the cache Big Dad 57!
We hoofed it over to this one from Rabbit's Retreat, a detour so GH Jnr could grab "In the Shadow Of" (walking around in some boggy ground), WP of the heritage site cache, then going cross county to this one. I couldn't help but think of the (Aussie?) phrase "Get your sh1t in a sock", meaning to get organised. 7 seconds of search were managed as muggle walkers approached. We out-waited them by taking in the views of the area, then for 2 cyclists to go past, the last of whom was pretty slow. Finally... I only had to step towards GZ and the cache was right there. After it was replaced, I poetically found an old brown sock on the ground. I didn't want to touch it, so jammed it in the tree near the cache with a stick
After riding around some nearby caches, we popped under the parkway to get this one! Certainly an interesting camouflage design...! Thanks for the cache!
Too cute! Frog in a soggy sock given the rain. FYI there’s a dead kangaroo very near this cache at the mo so be careful.
I was wondering what inspired the name of this cache. Once I found it all was revealed!
Decided to go for a walk in the Cork Forest this morning so on the way, I decided to grab this nearby cache before heading in. A lovely walk along the bikepath and a quick find at GZ. There was a sock on the ground which I can only assume was part of the hide but I couldn't be 100% sure! I've left the sock on the ground for the CO to check on but nevertheless, a very fun hide. Lovely location as well; with a great view of Telstra Tower. TNLNSL. TFTC Big Dad 57!
Found with G and La_Shee. I needed a quick find tonight and this one fit the bill. We parked about 400m away and made our way to the gz. Cache was quickly spotted. TFTC.
Out for my daily exercise and this was a great one to find! Unfortunately the sock was missing off the frog, but I located it not far away. So its now back to Frog in a sock! TFTG Big Dad 57
I could have saved muself some stairs if I had read the hint! A nice little cache. TFTC.
Found this nice Cache together with Dino and Flintstones. Thank you for putting it out and maintaining it Big Dad 57.
We had a nice cache walk with the family and The Heister in Aranda Bushlands. We had keept this local gem till now so there was lots to do on the cache front and we were happy to have a new cacher join us for the fun.
We had to take cover here at GZ for a moment as a shower came through.
Thank you Big Dad 57 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

A quick stop and grab after work. I’ve been trying to knock off a few find dates that I haven’t filled. This was a quick find.

8 of 11 today.
The guy who sprays the paddock next to it, was out again (I think each time I come past - he's there).. but with his head down, I wasn't observed and a very mint looking cache was spotted
TFTC BD57!
