Had a crack at this one ages ago, pafed amd was on the right pathway to locating it. It's all about timing I think. I just completed the nearby AL and elected to give this a nudge again, even though it's the school holidays I think I managed this easily and with no prying eyes.

The puzzle was straightforward, but we failed to find the cache on a previous visit in 2016 when it was missing. Today we relied on trifolia argentea's log to find the cache, which took a wee while as we found some ambiguity in their description of the location. TFTC
Given the recent finds and a new hint from a recent finder we returned today and located the cache before too long. As there was just a bag, with no cache, it is not surprising we missed it last time, if it was lying in the open! We did our civic duty and added a small container (micro). It should be easier to locate now, in a hollow near the base of a tree. TFTC!
Had lots of free time this afternoon so spent ages searching the area. Finally located in an area I had searched on a previous visit. Did hope the find would give some meaning to the hint, but none the wiser; TFTC
Found bag and dry log on ground. Signed and popped in base of tree under some sticks.
Had solved this a while ago. No luck today. We have no idea what the "odd one out" is. It is totally unclear. Spent a while looking for obvious places nests might be, as well as checking the entire perimeter ledge around the monument. No luck and no idea.
Had fun with this puzzle and made it really difficult when I had a thought. Maybe try using X item and see what happens. Goodness ended up with some numbers that looked promising. Try again with next lot and again looked good. Put into geo checker and it was right yeh.
Came out with busy paws saw the title item and laughed. We found the nest but the log was missing. We have put in a replacement log and returned to nest in hint item.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache Sevren.

Another solve by coconuts3 which is just SO easy once you know what to do! Found the nested bit ok but sadly no log. We have put in a replacement and returned a sad looking nest to it's spot - we think. Hope this is OK. TFTC
Had solved this a long time ago and was in the area so called in to have a nudge. Found the hint item then the rotted remains of the nest and then the rotted remains of the cache. This cache definitely needs maintenance. Thanks for the effort that goes into a puzzle and of course placing and maintaining a cache.
Took quite a while to get my hands on this hide trudged around left and right quite often not an easy find it all but managed to get there in the end the puzzle it was a different story needed a hand with that yet again thanks very much for this one I'm getting the favourite Point as well

JDSCOUT and I were on our way to the Port Hills Scout mudslide. I had solved this puzzle recently. And it was on the way. So we stopped and I found it.

Just noticed this puzzle when I was driving to work today. Slow day so allowed myself some spreadsheet time. A quick solve then a very straightforward find at gz. Thanks for both puzzle and cache.
I've spotted a couple of North Island challenge caches requiring 10 day streaks: one with 10 days of puzzle caches and one with 10 days of multi caches. I don't have too many multis still to find so a wee drive to Prebbleton was in order today!
This was a puzzle I was glad to see replaced- it's the closest to our friends' house and we pass it every time we visit! Nice to see I was looking in the right spot when it was missing.

When this cache was published I took a look and immediately got eyestrain and a headache and promptly put the puzzle aside. Then one rainy day recently I noticed that I still hadn't solved it so I sent it on to my brother so that he could test out his new glasses. Whilst waiting for his reply, a thought came to me as how I could maybe solve the coordinates fairly easy without taxing either my eyesight or my brain. It was a good thought. [^]
Made this my first stop on today's 2 hour, 39.5 kilometer, 9 geocache cyclocache ride. Thanks for the cache Sevren.

I noticed that KM had found this recently, so some maintenance had been done. Arrived here last saturday to find a couple of kids all over the area, having a ball, and no chance to had a hunt. Went back today ang=d I had GZ all to myself, and made a quick find.
Third time lucky! Cheers.
Another nice Saturday for a wee drive, and a few plastic boxes.
Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Wee hee, replaced cache. On a trip to town so took an eggciting side trip to this most eggcellent hiding spot. Kinda odd, well done the architect for thinking "What a spot for, ahh, something". Cheers
Hah loved GZ, not at all what I was expecting. However no luck in the obvious spot.
Next time.
Next time.
Add me to the list of DNFs I'm afraid. Of course it's possible that the most obvious hint item isn't the spot with the cache, but I didn't see anywhere else that fit.
The puzzle was straightforward, although you had to take care. However, although we immediately spotted something consistent with the hint, we were unable to find the cache.
Daughter twisted my arm, and I decided to ditch work for the day and go caching with her instead! Unfortunately I could not disappear for the whole day, as there was a night class to be taught, but we had an amazing day and found heaps of caches before I had to head back. I climbed under so many hedges that even halfway through class, I was removing vegetation from myself. Still better than when I brought a spider into the yoga room and cause a small upheaval... One of the funniest experiences of the day? When I managed to climb out of the hedge well before the muggle walked past, but I was sitting there on the ground by the path, with an open semi-ripe plastic tomato, pretending like it was just another day Thank you to all the CO's for the placements!!

Planned to go out with mum for a whole bunch of caching for the day - try clear out a bit of the south side of town to help with the kind of sky high goal of getting my caches within 80km of home down to within 1 pocket query - required about 231 more finds as of this morning, but looks like the final find count for today was 53!! And that was over the course of about 7 hours. So made a bit of a dent in that number!! Good to clear the map and some more of the solved & unfound puzzles out!
After clearing almost all of old Tai Tap Rd out, mum & I had some solved and unfound caches on the list between us that were semi nearby, so we decided to make a dent in them, finding other caches in the area while we were at it - but letting the solved & unfound dictate our route!!
I sent mum out to find it while plotting our next plan of attack in the car.
When she didn't return, I went out to help - and I had the cache in seconds! Haha yay!

Found on a lunch time jaunt with StreetWalker to look for some caches on a gorgeous spring day.
No worries with the nested eggs as I used a spreadsheet, but the hardest part was transcribing the puzzle.
Not an instant find for us. After thrashing around in the undergrowth without success, I thought that this didn't feel like a Sevren hide, so stepped back and soon spotted a likely place. The fourth and final cache find and good to turn another puzzle into a smile. TFTC.

#12954. All those parentheses brought back memories of writing lisp programs back in the day. Troodles sorted out the puzzle, and today we were in the area. Initially we thrashed round in the shrubbery, trying to make sense of the hint. Eventually Troodles thought we had the wrong end of the stick, and soon located the cache. TFTC.
TFTF. Out in Prebbleton for other reasons and thought it would be rude not to check for nearby caches. This jumped out as a solved puzzle. Lot so paper utilised in the solving process, then moved on to more advanced form of paper. I had great fun playing with this.
GZ is a wee treasure location that you just don't expect and was so appropriate to the theme.
A favourite point from me.

Thank heavens for calculators is all I can say. Son has a flashy graphics one so I read out the operations and he typed them in. Let's just say we were both relieved to get the green tick from the geochecker on our first go!
Got to GZ and couldn't think what the hint meant. I had a sit and a think and it dawned on me. And there was the cache. TFTC.

In the area and had to stop by and do the paper work. Parked up nearby and a cachelet #3 and I made a quick find at GZ. Fun puzzle. Now to find a playground.
Thanks for the cache Sevren.

{*FTF*} [06:34] I did the maths during down time on my night shift... finished up and came straight out here this morning still hoping no one had been out earlier... spent a bit of time looking around, dodged a couple of early morning exercisers, still couldn't find it... then I clicked and grabbed it... but oh no! Someone called Kylo has already signed the log... hang on... dated 3 months before it was placed??? I don't think so... I'm claiming FTF! Now home to bed! TFTC (2995)
Well done Dan. The cache log and container were grabbed from gracie7 & Mum's cache and I never even thought to look inside the book. Wonder if they signed it back when it was still in the Cache laying cache.
What a cross eye inducing puzzle! Great fun but soon under control and green tick in hand. Stopped off on the way home. Fancy wee subdivision...approached gz and had a sit down...felt a bit exposed...surveyed my options and scratched my head. Hmmmmm. Stood up; surveyed the surrounds wondering what the hang i was looking for & trying not to look like a neighbourhood robber.....scratched my head again.....then laughed....and sat directly down again. Cache in hand and signed lickity split. Awesome puzzle and a good hide. Cheers!
PS 'kyloyoung' signed the Chelsea Cache 23.03.....lol...clearly not the 'correct' log though!
