A night of shenanigans and adventures with my mate n0w0rries along with nirgalagrin, LetThemEatCache and SteMicMitSar. It was a special night for n0w0rries celebrating his #9000 find milestone starting at 9pm here, moving through the night in the Dandenongs and finishing up at 3am at the flash mob event in Officer.
I remember forgetting to stop here last year when I attended the flash mob event on the other side of the highway. Today I made sure we didn't forget to stop and grab this one.
Thank you for the cache here don55

It's 2.35am, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
LOL, not really. But we are headed to the WWFM XX event at the macca's across the road scheduled for ridiculous o'clock, so we may as well stop here and grab this one.
Luckily previous finders were with me, so it was a quick find. Thanks don55 for placing and maintaining for our enjoyment. Nice one.

Looked long and Hard. As I am not the only DNF can you please check cache to see if it is not lost.
There have been many DNF can you assess the cache to see if it is still there.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.

No luck for LittleBoss2 and I today despite extending the search. Thanks anyway
Had a look for this one whilst the others were getting maccas. Couldn’t find in the time allocated
Partner stopped in for a bit of fuel and out of curiosity checked for nearby geos. You wouldn't believe it but there was one a stones throw away. After a bit of hunting found it. Great cache
Stopped for a bite to eat, then to find the cache. Good co-ords led me straight to it. Cigc. Tftc
On a road trip today & happened to notice a nearby cache here at a loo stop. Good chance to stretch the legs & activate the caching brain. Thanks!
Found this one last weekend
Nice cache but who knows if there was any truck drivers who saw

It was hard to tell if the truck drivers were watching or not but after a short search, we found it safely tucked inside.

We found this cache today on our Officer to Pakenham Morning Caching Run. Actually, we found this one in February on our way to Drouin and only just realised as we were passing, that we had forgotten to log it at that time. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Was so ready to log the dnf, even wrote the comment. Geokid is a little determined than me!! She came up with the goods. Our go’s had us in the wrong place to start with, moved about 10m down to the next suss looking area. We were in the right area but still it eluded us for a while. Thanks for a fun hide.
Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the longest word in the English language. It is a medical condition, called Pneumoconiosis that is specifically caused by inhalation of very fine silicate or quartz dust. The challenge today was to find a cache with the first letter of each cache title to match each letter in this word. Why would I do this? Well, because there is a challenge of course (see GC5EWGV, Scrabble Challenge-Beckworth Beckons).
So, a LOT of planning went into this day. You see, there are 45 letters in this word alone, which meant identifying 45 different caches that I would have to find, one each starting with each of these letters, aacccccceiiiiiilllmmnnnnooooooooopprrsssstuuv. That’s 14 different letters and just for good measure, I identified a bonus cache for each letter, for when the inevitable DNFs were to happen. Which means there were now 59 caches on my list for the day, spread out from Maryknoll, to Berwick, Cranbourne, Lysterfield, Lilydale, Woori Yallock and then into the Dandenongs. I expected it to take me most of the day but in the end, because of 9 DNFs and a number of times where I had to hastily look for other options, I only finished it with minutes to spare before midnight.
The letter O was a difficult one to find, thankfully there is a glut of them around Lilydale, and with some others here and there, I was able to find the numbers I needed and with no DNFs on any of them I didn’t need to resort to my back up cache today.
It took a bit of organizing to find both of these ones in a day. Making sure I was going the right direction, back and forth to different caches. Thankfully, this one was a much easier find than the other, spotted it in the first place I looked. TFTC!

Heading to Yarram for a week. Mr 80 pulled in here for a van check and we quickly discovered this cache only 50m away. After a short walk cache was quickly located and log signed. Cache in good condition TFTC
Today we were out in the Cranbourne/Officer area on our first sizeable caching day in quite a number of months now that travel restrictions have been significantly eased, allowing us to finally roam around and find a wide variety of caches in a region we don't often explore.
Quite a number of trucks parked here today but thankfully all of the drivers seemed to be elsewhere which made searching that little bit easier.
The search took a little while with the obvious places being checked but a different angle eventually brought forth the goods.
Thanks to don55 for hiding this cache!

Nice cheeky little grab on the way home. Big weekend of geocaching wrapped up with an easy one
Bored in a house......in a house bored.
Decided to grab a couple of caches and some Macca's. Nice day out for it. Knew what I was looking for after finding westbound cache so easier to find. Found, signed and replacedNice to be the first even if it is a new log.
BTW in this time of Covid 19 I have been wearing disposable gloves, so no problems there

On our way to Cape Patterson. Have travelled to Cape many times and I always say I should drop in here and find this cache. Needed to drop some rubbish off. Looked beyond the obvious places and found quickly. TFTC
Stopped for some fuel today then decided to stretch the legs before continuing our journey. Made the find after a bit of searching. TFTC
I've always saved these ones closer to home ... for when we "needed" one, it was also a nice excuse for a large frozen coke too I had an idea where this one maybe, given we've done the one across the road but to my surprise the hint read a little differently. I knew if I parked the car in the right spot it would give us some cover, which it did. Looking at the obvious spot, our geoson decided to venture with with gut feel & retrieved the log to sign. It's always a relief to ink the find when you know ... home is the next stop. Thank you for this hide. I good spot for those who need a stop and rest from all the travelling
Caching in the area we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks don55 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Working towards a weekly steak for a souvenir. My son Aaron found it quickly while I kept an eye out for speeding muggles. Thanks kindly
Found desperately needing a walk after the drive from Geelong. Closer now to my final destination I decided to grab a cache to mark my way. Cache was found quickly and in good condition. Tftc

Cache found to be all in good order. Now to move off to pakenham. Thanks for the cache!
I was on my way back from an event in Melbourne, and stopped off here to get some petrol. Then I saw that there was a cache nearby. Read the hint, which helped, and I had a good idea what to look out for. Then I realised that I had left my pen back in the car. Doh! Soon I was back in the car to continue on with my journey. TFTH [;D]
Found in the early morning on the way to find some more caches in the Officer/Pakenham area. Cache in good condition.
Whilst we waited for some other caching teams to meet us here, to head further afield, we took the time to find this well hidden cache. A certain triton made the find! Thanks so much for placing this cache don55
Off on holiday. Fuelled up the car, fuelled up the bodies, fuelled up the geocache finds. Thanks so much! TFTC
I found this one a few weeks ago but did not have a pen on me. Finally got back to it before work today. TFTC
With the Mega now over it was time for one of the FurfacesLL team to return home for work and the other one to soldier on with Rapidlywild. Also visiting friends around the area on the down days when RW was busy.
Quick find while in transit here.
Thanks for the hide don55 and thanks to Rapidlywild for the company and caching adventure.

The Mega had been and gone however myself and FFLL#1 were staying on for another week with some other commitments. I had a charity Gala dinner to attend to on the Saturday following the Mega so it only made sense to stay on in Victoria. We were staying out Gippsland way so we had targeted Robot Charli and a couple other series to do, however the weather decided to go against us and we did not get all that were planned. It doesnt matter, we still got a fair few done in the time we were here. Once it was time to start heading home, we went via Albury to pick up some more puzzles of which we had solved.
Quick find while travelling through.
Thanks for the cache hide don55 and the ladies of FurfacesLL for another great caching adventure away from home

My good Mate Roostaman was down from Wagga Wagga for the Mega and staying at My place, A plan was hatched to meet up with Ski Pair and ride some of the trails today. This cache was found on route to the Mega Event, not sure why I have not found it before this time always in a rush when I pull in here. Thanks don55 for the cache.

On my way to Phillip Island to marshal at the MotoGP this weekend and I made a pit stop here on the way. I hadn't realised there was a cache here until I'd stopped and started to check on a cache I had targeted earlier. Nothing for it but to go for a short walk and a hopefully quick hunt.
Off for the walk I went and, being the careful cacher I am (sometimes) I had read the description and was wary of potentially alert truckies as I approached GZ. As luck (Murphy's Law type luck) would have it a truck pulled up, pointing pretty much straight at GZ as I got close. While I was trying to look nonchalant and not stand too close to where my iPhone indicated GZ was, I idly placed my hand on something and realised it felt familiar. A quick glance to check that the truckie was looking elsewhere and I had the cache in my hand, log signed and cache replaced.
The cache is in good condition.

Tried a few times. Another stop on way home. About to give up and look to my right and bingo. Tftc
We’ve stopped a few times now to scope this one out, but never had quite the right coverage from peering eyes. Today we were lugging the caravan, which gave us the perfect shield to have a poke around out of view. Checked a couple of spots before having another idea which proved correct. Nice hide! SL TFTC

After multiple visits here when it was always too busy or the spectating trucks were lined up making it nearly impossible. Tonight I stopped for fuel expecting it would be lined with trucks but I could not see any so drive around and there were none. So a search of a few spots I had previously left had the cache in hand and log signed. Tftc
The gps had me all over the place whilst searching for this, I had to resort to a photo in a previous finders log to get me in the right area. Once there it was an easy find with no truckers around TFTC

Nice find with Crank1 and Kangas11 on our way to Moe Cito Event. TFTC and bringing us here.
First time in ages that I planned (and carried out) a decent early morning caching run. Up at 5am and out towards Pakenham so I could try some in the Pretzel series and a few assorted others nearby. A lovely mild morning for it and not too much traffic once I got off the beaten track. This was my first stop and I thought it would be easy to pull off the freeway and grab this one. A lot of trucks around but a parked a little way off and walked back to this one. Took me a little while searching a few different spots until I came back to the right spot and grabbed this one. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache don55.

As I'd started off being 3 months behind in my logging I am desperately trying to catch up and am mass logging to do so.
I'd come to Melbourne for the 2017 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards day and ended up staying for about 5 days
Most of the nights were spent at the kindly kmace's place although the last couple I decided to spend in the car due to unforeseen caching circumstances that had me in strange areas
Today was a very unusual day in that we did not start caching until after 2pm and then I DNFd my last cache attempt at 4.21am the following morning [)][)]
Overall I had 3 DNFs and 21 cache finds between Melbourne and Sale and back again!
Let's just quickly grab this servo cache then we'll be on the road again!
That was NOT what happened but I do now have a smiley here so I am now very pleased! [^]

Found this one today with locus cache while on a road trip to Sale to get information for the Victorian Premiers Challenge. The plan for this one was a quick easy find - yeah right. This was a sneaky one that had both of us looking and tools involved before locus cache located the sneaky thing just as we were about to quit or PAF. Signed log with great relief and re hid it.
