Another cach on the way home from work to keep my daily streak going! I think it's day 52 today. Glad I can turn to drive out as I was worried about driving up! Inside container was wet but the log was only a bit damp and I was able to write on it. TFTC
Sodden sodden sodden. So much H2o in container, mosquitoes could breed in it. Logbook 2 was damp, but still scribable & T4TC:-)
totalube I found your cache Christmas Memories - Lemon Meringue Pie on 20/6/2023, 1:55 pm. This is my find 5643 and find # 7 today. A quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Today I made a plan to head towards Wingaap Drive for a milestone cache. Unfortunately I had some bad luck at a couple of bridge caches on the way and I came up 1 cache short. Which is how I ended up consuming lemon meringue pie in the middle of the bush. I’m sorry to say it wasn’t the best LMP I’ve had. It was a bit soggy. But it still made me smile.
After eating, I washed and dried the dishes and replaced the broken bag. Then I headed off to Walkabout Creek to wash that pie down with some coffee and a milestone cache.
Thanks totalube for the delicious cache!

Initially searched on the wrong side of the road but found it quickly when I moved to the other side. Both containers had water in them and the logbook was wet but I signed as best I could.
Quick drive by find after completing a few local adventure lab caches.
Another one bits the dust.

This evening, with the publication of the *Golden Boulder* Adventure Lab and the corresponding bonus cache, I decided to take a drive along Mount Nebo Road to Bellbird Grove. The Golden Boulder track night walk was a little sketchy, but it was then a nice drive back home.
This was a cache that I hadn't yet stopped at despite my frequent visits up Mount Nebo Road, so whilst returning back to civilisation, I took the back road to this cache. It was subsequently a quick find, and the cache container was in good shape, but the logbook was slightly damp. I recall someone talking to me about this *Christmas Memories* series and that it was a good idea, in theory, the bonus cache was never followed through, which was a shame. I did note the clue in any case though. Thanks Cake Baking Cache Hiding Monster aka totalube for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

In the area today for the public holiday and on our way to 800 caches found. This was 799. Quick find at gz. Had a chuckle at the container given the cache name. Emptied the water from the outside container, signed our name and returned as found. TFTC
#7 for this wet day. Found with Duppers. TFTC,TFTH & TFTSF
Now I feel like some lemon marange pie.
Now I feel like some lemon marange pie.
Recent weather ensured lots of ....er... lemon juice? Lovely secret road. Cool, damp and crisp . TFTC
My target cache today was a nearby puzzle one so I decided to continue my walk and find the Wingaap caches near the road, and this one across the road, doing a circuit. There were lots of ups and downs walking along the Nebo Road Fire Break but I avoided one by crossing the main road near Temptation and walking up a faint firetrail to this cache. Found in an obvious place. Tftc
Relatively quick find once I figured out that the cache was most definitely not on that side of the road.
As it often happens, a car pulled around the corner just as I had reached for the cache. Being along a dead end road, they were probably unsure as to what others were doing parked here.
TFTC.

With a litter of 2 week old puppies at home my opportunities to go caching are limited at the moment… so after finding my target old cache at Bellbird Grove and a handful of wingaap caches I decided to detour to collect this one…
Initially on the wrong side of the road, when I looked at Geepers again, all of a sudden it wanted me more over there… and that’s where I found this nicely themed container… mmmm… lemon meringue pie…
Tftc…

Todying up a handful of icons through this area, I was surprised to arrive at GZ and find a car within 10m. [?] I parked up, scanned said vehicle and found it empty. OK, good to move in... [^]
GZ was obvious on approach and the container came quickly to hand. I nipped back over to the car to sort out business with some level of privacy, then returned the cache as found.
Cheers Totalube.

Heading out with Mr and Mrs SP today with one mission - to find as many Wingaap caches as we could. This was the eighth cache for the day. Wingaap, your caches have entertained and inspired geocachers for decades, and I sincerely hope I have not found your last cache. You're appreciated. I have run out of FPs today, but each and every cache certainly deserves one.
Mmmm, lemon meringue pie, one of my favorites. Cache was found nice and safely tucked away but it was full of water and the log container was also wet but the log was still dry. I emptied the water and gave it all a dry out and replaced it upright in the hopes that it will not suffer the same fate again. TFTC totalube
Out on a long bushwalk to find some caches and get in hill training for Brisbane Trail Ultra 110km in July. The bush bash from Nebo Break to this cache was fun. I am now hungry for LMP. TFTC
After a a Celebration Event at Lake Wivenhoe i headed off in search of a few caches. Parked at a bend in the road at the cache was very close to park. I thought it was going to be hard to get at but after having a good look it didn't take long to have the cache in hand and I was signing log. Replaced as found. TFTC
Was on the way back down the mountain from an easier than expected walk this morning and was keen to tick off another before I headed home. Had a look on the app to see if there were any en-route. This cache popped up in a familiar spot from a previous find. I knew exactly how to het here and within a few minutes was pulling up at GZ. The “parking area” in now blocked off so puled up on edge of road. Can see that this spot is still a little bit of a dumping area.
Began search and after a couple of spots were checked, I headed to the middle of the road, as my GPS was bouncing around a little. Turns out I was closer to cache in the middle of the road than I had ben earlier. I read some previous logs and noted similar results about searching the wrong side of the road. Changed attack and spotted a likely hide. On first approach no luck, but from a different angle, cache was spotted.
Back to the car pouring water out of the container on the way to get the repair kit. The inner container was a bit slimy but all containers dried with paper towel. The log book was fine and was quickly signed. The inner container reminds me of camping trips, with a similar container being the default match receptacle.
Containers closed and cache secreted away for the next finder. Thanks Cake Baking Cache Hiding Monster

After visiting some friends at The Gap, I headed out this way to grab some information for another cache I am working on, and thought I would grab this one as it was just up the road.
Arriving at gz, my phone was pointing in the other direction, I thought I would have to go 'down there'. I had a look around and found a place which looked like a good hiding spot for a cache, and as luck would have it, I found a delicious Lemon Meringue Pie!
After signing the log, I replaced the cache as found and made my way.
Thanks Cake Baking Cache Hiding Monster for placing the cache here.

This one had us searching the wrong side of the road for ages, I was dreaming of lemon meringue pie while I was hunting. Funnily enough found the cache in the first spot we looked, just needed to use our eyes.
Another one I went straight to but didn’t find. The gps was all over the shop and we scrabbled around for ages. Eventually I did something I had never done before: asked the CO for a hint! But before they could reply, catastrophic claire looked a bit more diligently at the first spot and came up with the goods. A lovely cache and a favourite point from me. Thanks very much!
We were struggling with this one as all of our GPSs were leading us to the wrong side of the road. I finally found it, but it was filled with water, so we couldn’t write on it. TFTC love the container!!
Quick little drive this afternoon with a buddy! Cute container.
Tipped water out. Logbook wet but still easy to write on. Thanks for the tour

I was out this way on my way to a friends house and thought I would get a few smileys on the way. I was lucky at gz to spot the cache quickly. there was no one around so I enjoyed the view and signed the cache in the cool of my car. what a apt cache this was. thankyou for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC totalube ¥264 days. #1705 finds
Went for a walk to Palm Gully.
After that, we had a lovely cake at the Elm Haus then picking up a few caches on our way down the mountain.
A drive by, that works after a morning on the trails
Thank you very much for hiding this cache

Great first find of the day, out hunting with the whole Shutterbug crew. This took a little longer than it should due to some false readings on the trusty iPhone finally put our geoheads on and it was a quick easy find
Out and about with Snickersallan to pick up some caches with lots of favourite points for a challenge cache, this one was included in the map.

Out again today still trying to round up enough points for the Cache Carnival.
I was heading up the road to collect the only two other caches I have out here, so it seemed sensible to stop at this one too.
Should have paid more attention to the terrain rating. [B)]

I was in the area as there were a number of caches that I could find that would help me accumulate points for the Cache Carnival. I decided to check on this one while I was here.
I took a hazardous route on the wrong side of the road and didn't find the cache there so I decided to look in the obvious place and that was where I found the cache.

On my way to knock over a bunch of wingaap caches on the road up to Nebo, I stopped by to grab this one. There was a bit of lemon juice collecting in the bottom of the bright and cheerful container, so I emptied it and dried it. All good here, and such a quiet and pretty part of the world. Thanks, CBCHM!
this lovely geocache container put a smile on our face is when we found it. As a kid growing up, lemon meringue pie was a favourite in our family and since we had a lemon tree and chickens it was not too uncommon.
Thanks for the lovely surprise on a quiet road.

My first thought was that the cache has been thrown away as I saw a plastic container laying next to the road but fortunately, it‘s still there. Tftc.
The first of a little run today while waiting for a concert nearby. An easy enough find of the bright container while the eldest mooseling marvelled at the car below which had sometime gone over the edge. All is good with this one, and now I'm hankering for some pie... TFTC
Back here again for a find with tm x 4 jemilucy and mnance101 and lisylou. After dawn walk.
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Jemillalucy, Bennyboppers and Lisylou). TFTC!
On the way back from Indiana cache and saw this one had been found today so thought we would pop by. Tftc

Friday. After collecting the nearby Christmas Bells, I wanted to collect this cache. I came across a gentleman who was getting back into his car and as I pulled up behind him (in a no through road), he took another look at me. I pretended to get something out the back of my car and then when he drove off, I made a hasty walk across the road and picked up the very interesting cache container. For a no through road in the middle of nowhere, there sure are a lot of people who come up this way! After signing the log (away from the container), I made a hasty retreat back to my car and drove off to just down the road and then to collect more caches. Code retrieved from underneath the lid
This was the 2nd of 11 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***totalube***, for showing us this place.

After spending the day with two of my grandchildren, I decided to head out and find this cache. I had been here before, but the cache was missing on that occasion. Today, it was a quick find. TFTC
Awesome cache out with silverlizard after a swim at the reservoir. Tftc and pathtag
11/10/17, 12:51 pm Find #1206
A day off! Yay! About time I got another one of these! And with a still unclaimed Earthcache nearby, this became the target location for the day. Having got that out the way with NyssaFlutterby, we went our separate ways as she and Jelly took off home to cool down, but I couldn't resist grabbing one or two more caches before I finished for the day.
So collecting one other cache along the main road back to here I then took a very tight turn up this road to stop for this cache, my final for the day.
Pulling the car up safely as far in on the bend as possible I headed out and.... downwards but then realised this couldn't be right. Heading back roadside my compass was telling me I was virtually on the cache but no, definitely not. Then I looked over the road and was certain I knew where I needed to be. Charging across I was pleased to see it was exactly where I needed to be and found the new lemon tree that totalube had planted. Log signed I also grabbed one of the pathtags - love the verse on it.
Thanks for the cache and the pathtag totalube, must catch (or rather cache) up again soon!

Thanks for the cache and the pathtag and the clue. Hopefully I'll get to use it one day. For future finders, don't take a direct route from Temptation. TFTC
As a newbie, this one beat me.
Stopped by quickly after dropping my daughter to a friend's, but with fading light, mist and damp conditions, it wasn't ideal. There was also heaps of dumped rubbish as well. Next time!
Spent a good half hour with 2 others searching for this cache and nothing! Looked inside & all around the tree stump with the wire around it where the gps lead me, and the trees & drains surrounding. Then checked the other side of the road inside the big tree which was in a photo from a previous cacher.
Quick find whilst doing an afternoon of geocaching on my birthday with arch monkey.
After a big week-end in Brissy it is time to head back to Toowoomba.
And I have time for a few detours to find a few geocaches.
A quick find. Got the clue ... though not too sure what to use it for.
Thanks for the cache.

We decided it was time to clean up a few random caches that were leaving green smudges on our map.
This is the beginning ... LOL
A nice quick find to start our afternoon's caching run.
My mind wasn't on the details though & I think I may have dated some of the logs today as 20/10/2016 instead of 15/10/2016.
Oops!
Don't ask, it's a long story! LOL ...
Made our mark & replaced as found.
All good here.

Out for a morning of bushwalking and caching along Wingaap Drive today, on a glorious Spring day. This was the first stop, and after taking a moment to orient myself, was an easy find. Clue noted for later, and container returned as found.
This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #2818 for us. Thanks **Cake Baking Cache Hiding Monster** for showing us this spot. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

Needing some numbers before the weekend - thought I would grab this one on the way down...TFTC, loved the container......looking forward to the final for Christmas Memories...heheheh
I was in the area working at The Gap when I decided to grab this cache - especially since it was a Totalube one!
I parked up at a very familiar area. My instinct told me to go one way but my smartphone (eventually) told me to go another direction. I was soon at GZ with a cache in hand.
I noted the clue and signed the log and re-hid the cache as found. That is a pretty good hide - and I can't think many people will look there. TFTC Cake Baking Cache Hiding Monst... I mean Totalube

Easy peasy lemon squeezey (GPS took us right to it in an area I would not have guessed). TFTC. Now I'm craving lemon meringue pie
Was on the wrong side of the road when PTJ91 found it . It is a cute cache. TFTC
Mrs Just a Trifle was out for a day of caching with barbbowman and Raynersinoz and we couldn't miss the opportunity for some Christmas memories. Once at ground zero, we didn't have any difficulties locating the cache. With our names added to the log book, we headed off to the next cache.
Thank you totalube for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy.
