I was on a mission to grab some traditional numbers for a challenge I am actively working on - with a deadline. So a morning was organised with Gcoven to catch up and hunt some numbers. I did a search for caches that neither of us had found and werent too far away and we landed up in this area. Without too much of a plan we headed up picking of the caches as we came across them on the map. Had success with all bar one and even managed to find a few that had the last find was a DNF - normally on a numbers run I would have excluded those, so it was pleasing that we were able to find them. Also managed to find two rock wall caches - I should buy my lotto ticket now. All in all a very good and successful morning that reduces my needed numbers by a decent amount
Out Geocaching with the Buderim Rover Crew for the afternoon. This area had a few different types of caches and a park to play in as well which made for a great afternoon out and a good spot to introduce some new people to Geocaching. Cool camouflaged cache!
There are lots of log options, and we found the best one in the end and signed it.
Find 16 of 40 on a full day of caching, driving down from Maleny on the old road into Landsborough, then getting the bikes out for a 30km ride around Landsborough and down to Beerwah and back, then driving back up via Peachester picking off as many caches as we could on the way. An excellent day out with some brilliantly constructed caches to enjoy.
Thinking this looks like a criterium circuit - we dived off in one of the corners for Mrs O to make the find.

Found after a long search with the CO, Unsure whether it had floated down the bank or not replaced to the original location?

After pulling up in the carpark and walking the extra 200m to GZ I was scratching my head initially but after approaching from a different angle it was an easy find for me. Nicely crafted container! Thanks for the cache dickbev!
Shockingly fast find here! Great little container. Thanks for sharing this park with us
Ruffled around in the long grass, within 2m off the mark, cool canister lots of logs and busted trees, they actually threw my attention in the other direction, bit cheeky, fun none the less
love the cache camo, very cool! we were on a roll with this type today. was a little daunting at first (spiders), but eventually the cache was ours. TFTC
Alyce and I decided to venture north to the Sunny Coast to grab some caches. The plan was to get the remaining tree fishing caches/tool caches so we could qualify for the August challenge while grabbing a few others while in the area.
We finished grabbing the two other caches further afield and started making our way back to the car, we then decided to grab this cache so we wandered past the playground where a rather large birthday party was taking place.
We arrived near GZ and sussed out the best approach and followed the geotrail in and checked out the most obvious spot and sure enough the cache was there.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Today, the plan was a kayak paddle on Lake Baroon to attend the *Leisurely Obi Obi Paddle* event. The weather turned out great (quite eerie in the morning), and we had a friendly group of 15 kayakers who paddled Lake Baroon and down Obi Obi Creek.
Following the event/paddle, I took a walk around Maleny before grabbing lunch at its award-winning bakery. I then spent the last few hours of my afternoon visiting a few oldies in the area and darting around a few lookout spots, before then returning home via Mount Mellum, Skippy Park, and Beerwah where I completed the *Beerwah.* Adventure Lab.
With my last remaining light of the day, I thought I would take my fishing TOTT, and go for a walk around Skippy Park. There were still a few people about, using the playground, cyclists and joggers going for laps around the track, so quite the nice late afternoon. I proceeded towards this cache, thinking the nearby playground would be a good one to return with my young daughter (maybe when she's a little older), and after arriving at GZ, the cache was a reasonably quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks dickbev for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

There was quite a bit of activity in the area today so I had to watch that I was nor in view as I disappeared from view. I spotted the hide on my second inspection of the spot. Love the construction of the cache container.

Looking for a few caches this morning after visiting Maleny.
Walked in to GZ.
Geo-dad (Cliff 5009) who was with me, spotted this one first.
Pulled out - love the container.
Even had instructions for how to open.
Signed and returned to hiding spot.
This is my 2,000th Queensland cache. So special cache container for my special moment. Cheers!

Came to this park, to do some Tree Fishing, sadly I forgot to bring the hook required, so have to grab a trad on this date to fulfil a challenge, Thanks for a well disguised hide, a favourite point for construction, log sheet is damp, but still could place my name on it, Thanks again, dickbev
dickbev I found your cache Almost Log Log Log on 12/6/2022, 11:25 am. This is my find 3503 and find # 4 today. No problems locating this one. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Willis007 and I had the opportunity to head up to the sunshine coast for the day and collect a few caches before the night time event and the GIFF presentation. We were looking at targeting the Landsborough area and then the pelican waters caches before heading to Coolum. We were pretty much on track all day with just a few targets that will have to wait until next time. Overall we got in a few labs finished off and a fun few caches. It was a long but profitable day, and a lot of chats and fun along the way, thanks to all the CO’s for the hides.
Working our way north we came across this little section of caches. The mozzies here were fierce so we did not waste too much time. Managed to find this one quickly and the hint helped. Willis007 enjoyed finding this one. All good and with it signed and replaced we were off to the next ones in the area, thanks. Gets a favourite point from me for the nicely designed cache.

Lovely walk around here. I was just standing there working out where I was going to go to get down to GZ when I looked down and there was the cache tucked away. Sometimes you get lucky.

What an odd name for a geocache.
Reminds me of the log lady and her pet log from twin peaks forever ago.
Seeing as i just so happened to discover this cool park for the first time, i figured why not roll the tredley over to gz here to see what i could spy.
I got very lucky and spied it immediately upon arrival at the scene.
Another fantastic cache container.
Thanks so much dickbev for showing us how it's done.

Today we arrived into Bewah to spen a couple of days before heading towards Dayboro.
We teamed up with the Snakepitters to look for a few caches not far from where we are camped.
This is a wonderful park area. Only about 2 other cars parked here today.
A nice cache contsiner, goes well with the cache name.
Thankyou dickbev for placing this cache.

What a beautiful park and general area this is. We are visiting for the day from Brisbane and are loving exploring this area. We wondered if the container may now have been buried under some recent lawn clippings, however all was good and we found and replaced in its hiding spot.
Thanks

I have headed north today to meet a few friends, Grand_Poobah, Eskies5, Kestal, HippyDonna, and Jess&Caro (Well only Caro). Today we aimed to find a couple of caches that fill spots on our D/T grids.
With that done we headed home. Grand_Poobah and I headed a different way home.
Found after a quick search.

Clue put us off course as we went looking for 3 logs or 3 logs stuck to the container. Eventually found it. With a little bush bashing.
