On a senior's Metro trip to Chatswood. While Mrs Brew shops, I caught the train to a few local stations to grab a few caches.I followed the path downhill, then stopped within 5m of GZ. Without a hint, I wasn't sure where it might be, but the instincts kicked in, and it was CIH. Another one ticked off on the map. TFTC
On a side rail journey up here after work. Somewhere far from my home, never mind the drizzling weather. Quick find. TFTC BindiGuider
Got it easy. Another LGA.Walked a bit of the path over the bridge.Who knew! With kiwisteve2 and drobbonz. Tftc
An easy drive by find that took a bit longer than expected when my gps wasn't working. This was a really cool idea. TFTC!!!!!
I alighted from the train at Roseville Station and took the short walk to this cache. Cache and log are good. Then I walked back to the station and caught the next train to my next cache. TFTC BindiGuider.
Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers BindiGuider! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
The Cockburn Crew are on tour at the Capital Geobash in Canberra - travelling from Perth to Sydney, Canberra, Sydney and finally back to Perth.Today was day 8. We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. Logs signed as part of team WA/WAC (WA Crew)

#717 12:01 pmCanberra capital geobash mega event trip Ive been to sydney several times since I became a geocacher but have never been able to find a cache. This one was there and didnt take any longer then 10 seconds. Thanks for placing this cache BindiGuider
Nice walk from the station to a like spot as the bush turkeys were busy nearby . TFTC
Decided on a public transport trip today with goingplaces2 and picked up a few caches close to train stations. It was a quick find here and there were very few muggles around. Log was signed and replaced. Job done! TFTC.
Went for a bus and train ride this morning with ilook4geo and this was a cache near a station to look for today. It is not really a 1 terrain as it would be very difficult for a person in a wheelchair to access this cache. Both names were soon added to the log and it was then time to head back towards home. Thanks for the cache go to BindiGuider.
a muggle def saw me signing the log but hopefully thought nothing of it she didnt see me replace the cache so we should be good TFTC!
Im back visiting from Brisbane for a few days while my husband is working here. I had a coffee with my cousin in Lindfield, then came the one stop to Roseville. I used to live in Roseville in 1986, so it was nice to visit again. After finding the multi on the other side of the railway, I walked down to this cache. Coordinates were pretty good so I soon found, not one but two caches. The original, a bit bent and the new one. I signed the log in the new one. Tftc
No luck here, and it prevented me from making my first find in Ku-ring-gai. 4 for 6 today....
This looked like it was somewhere according to the logs and my coords but I didnt see it. No hint to confirm.
Found, with shaneo58, We came down from Newcastle to do some easy caches on the northern line. near Lindfield and Roseville.
Signed log and Cache replaced as found.
**Thanks For The Cache** BindiGuider.
This makes the 11th cache of 12 for today making a grand total of 4187 at 12:56PM on this Thursday the 7th of September in the Year 2023

Those steps were a nice workout on the legs. My phone had me no where near the GZ. I looked at previous logs and saw a spoiler photo which made a quick find. TFTC BindGuider.
Started looking on the wrong level, once at the right level it was a quick grab
An easy find.
As i was there i walked through the rifleway afterwards. Seems like a popular little shortcut.
Thanks.

I am on a mission today to collect 16 lgas from the Sydney surrounds. I chose which caches to do, and the Elf in the car garmin is teling me where to go. Boy what a day. It started out really well, but around No. 12, the elf had a few to many eggnoggs, and glitched, and sent me back 2 previous caches, Which amounted to 2 tolls not needed to be paid, had about an hour of time. Anyhow, have a ....... I got it back on track, but somehow we have missed one, and the last one on Sout Head was just not going to hapen, due to the vry long walk to find a parking spot.
This cache was first cab off the rank, and took a little too long to find, as i was searcing the actual laneway. So after eliminating a lot of places, i looked in the general locaion, and figured, its probably stuck to that, and i was right. TFTC.

This was my first geocache that I found and it was a lot of fun. A clue is look at the bottom of the letter.
Cmkoe3 and I went to get bread at a nearby bakery and decided to grab this cache while we were there.

I dropped off my car to get serviced at the local dealer this morning and waiting for the job to be done, I was enjoying a nice brunch at a nearby cafe. But then I received a phone call from the service advisor telling me a couple of other things needed fixing and that they'd now need my car for the whole day. OMG!!
So how to kill 6 hours when I don't have a car. Caching came to mind but I've got all the ones nearby! Then a brainwave ... I remembered there were some caches near stations along the North Shore line. So, I hopped on a train from Gosford and spent the day jumping from station to station ... and getting sidetracked along the way.
A straightforward find here but I'd suggest that the cache is not really a T1, given that people have to get down low to retrieve it ... T1 is reserved for wheelchair friendly hides. Not sure that the hide location is legal either ... indeed, I think you'll find that attaching something to Ausralia Post property is actually a crime under the Crimes Act ... https://wiki.groundspeak.com/plugins/servlet/mobile?contentId=4915952#content/view/4915952
Thanks for this smiley bindiguider.

I was dropping my cat Penny off at the grooming centre near here and realised I needed a cache for the day before going in to work. Luckily this one was a terrain and difficulty of 1 and also a park and grab as the weather is rather wild and I wasn't dressed for caching. TFTC
Very convenient spot for me! Can’t believe I’ve walked past it almost every day.
Tftc, had to do a drop off at the airport , so taking the opportunity to collect a few new LGA's.
Nice spot to visit

Streak Day #3001 - Out with Dave8153 for a quick find after waiting out muggles, whilst in the area. TFTC
Thank you, no items inside (and I dropped my pen on the way so no physical log from me sorry...) nice easy spot!
Lots of muggles out for a morning walk during "Lockdown"
Then had to wait a smoker who took up residence right next to GZ.
Found signed and returned log finally.
Thanks for the cache.

This cache was cleverly hidden!
I took me some time to locate it because the GPS was bouncing around a lot. There were so many great hiding spot possibilities. I had to resort to some of the activity logs for hints; some of which were misleading. So I’m grateful to the person who said it wasn’t in a “natural” location!
