I am leaving the area and couldn't find anyone to adopt this cache, so I am archiving it.
As others have said we didn’t understand the hint but just followed our gps and geosenses.Do wish it would stop raining.Caching is much harder with an umbrella.
In the area today , early after dropping E1R-0T to college, so decided to take a crack at this whilst there were no muggles around...the sun was just starting to come up over the house rooves, so snuck in and out , hopefully un-noticed.
TFTC.

Hint meant nothing, but google maps had me in the right spot. 4km and five caches in. Thanks.

Find number 5896. I had some time to kill before meeting my daughter so thought I might as well grab some grottys. All quiet in the park today. I have to admit I tried something that looked like a cache before I got to GZ. Cache all good. Good Round Of Thanks To You
On my way to play soccer this afternoon I called past to find this cache. An embarrassing moment... When I arrived at GZ I forgot to turn down the volume on my phone. And so I was interrupted at GZ by my phone going off. Oh well... At least no one was around. No problems in locating the cache. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in it's spot all ready for the next hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. As usual I really appreciate your efforts in doing so.
This is geo streak day #1044 in a row for me today. TFTC

Have a couple of days off work to spend with the geo-kids on school holidays so after a big breakfast and trip to the library we headed out to find some caches to help us with the hidden creatures souvenirs.
No idea of the hint item but found the cache with a large slug on it...eww...anyway no one else around all these new houses so we completed the formalities and we were on our way.
Thanks for the cache.

Saturday bike trip in the area. Had this idea long time in my head. Todays wetaher was perfect to do it so! Found several caches. Enjoyed all off them. Nice and easy. Thanks for all placements. All good at GZ. TFTC
After meeting the Cache owner earlier in the day. I decided with an hour to kill I would see how many of these I could grab. I managed 8, and it was great fun. I will be back. TFTC
Couldn't work the hint out, but found the cache.

Popped around here to grab another GROTTY cache. This place is not grotty at all, in fact it looks like they have done such a thorough job of keeping the place clean that they have also removed any play equipment for the children, trees, shrubs or anything else that would draw in visitors. Still trust agazo to still find a spot to hide a geocache.
Mrs Tuolei stayed in the car so Mr Tuolei did this one solo, no problem as it is not a tricky hide at all. I didn't know the hint referred to (have googled this back at home...boom, boom) but that was OK, not hard to find without it. All good here and thanks for the cache.
Hopefully at some point the council will make an effort to give the local kids something to play on here.

After working over in Howick I was out caching, heading towards my 6000th cache soon in 3 more days, so some caching after work is in order to get to that milestone. Came here and what is this area for? Future housing? Future park? Still... I found me a cache.
We set out to collect 18 caches in Grottyland this afternoon - and in fact all but two caches we found were from the GROTTY series.
Had to google the hint for Grotty 70. Think we may have looked for this one in the past, but today we made the find. TFTC

Well this is extremely disheartening. Looks like when this newish sub-division was created they put in this reserve just because they were obligated too. No real thought or love has gone into it. Just a large square bit of grass. Enough to suck the life out of your inner child. Use your imagination they say... Well all I can imagine here is a nuclear waste land. Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come. They may as well have built another 10 houses. At least then it will be put to some use apart from geocaching.
In the area so diverted here to pick up another cache. Almost wish I hadn't. Gladly driving away. TFTC

Out here today for what turned out to be a GROTTY heavy day and making the most of the break in the weather.
No dramas making the find under the watchful gaze of some locals at the other end of the park, all in order and away again to the next. TFTC

Needed some caches for the planetary pursuit. Decided to do some of the Grotty series. Easy find. Found together with Greenkiwikids on the hunt for souvenirs and signed as "Team Piraten!". TFTC

Dear Cache Owners,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder if my log entries sound a bit strange. Thanks!
----------
In spite of the Long-Lasting rain today, I made a Little Caching-Tour in Takanini. On my list for today were only GROTTY Caches, so thank you Agazo for hiding them!
That one was the first for today. The loogbook was musty, so I decided to make no log entry.
Best regards,
Janno216

Was in the area this morning picking up a couple more Grotty caches. Felt a bit conspicuous here but quickly found, signed and left. TFTC
Out and about for a spot of cache detection before the scheduled rain this evening. I parked up just down the road a ways and made the short walk back to GZ. Not much going on in this park. Anyway, found the hide in the first place I checked. Nice to execute a super quick find. Cheers for the cache placement!
nabbed this one cause I could... I try to get one of the grotty series everytime I come to auckland, and this is the one I had my sights set on for today. got here just as it started drizzling, so was happy that it didn't take too long! now to go find a sink and wash the tomato (?) sauce off my jumper.
Got this cache for the Mary Hyde souvenir. Found with HeMaLuDy & purply. TFTC
Reasonably quick find when we got to GZ. Grabbed this cache because we needed one for the Mary Hyde souvenir. Found with Darthcacher1 & HeMaLuDy. TFTC
Needed to find a cache to fill in a dot day. Chose this one as we felt it would be a good day time to collect with junior cachers. Also needed a cache today for the Mary Hyde souvenir. A typical Grotty cache in that it was found without much trouble. Found with Purply and Darthcacher1. TFTC
Had a free day in hand between a stressful week and the In Laws 80th tomorrow followed by a Expo next week, so this was a chance to grab a few caches that have been sitting there far too long.
So in the company of Mr MCC at 5.30am and setting off we headed north for a morning (only having leave passes to mid-afternoon) to see what we could find in the area before the muggles were up and about and we needed to locate caches in slightly less muggle intensive areas.
Today we managed a total of sixty five finds and only 2 DNF's. Not bad considering we were back home by 2.30pm.
A big thanks you to all the CO's for the effort in placing and maintaining these caches. We had a great day with lots of laughs and fun
Sorry for the repetitive logs. Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

Out with Cat & Dragons on a caching finding mission, a quick short walk for an easy find
Another one I couldn't do because of muggles on the last attempt. Quick find today.

I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
A caching buddy, LhutiNe, turned up so I continued on to get a few more.
Cheers for the cache.

Nice quick park and grab. Lumpy29508 was busy doing forward rolls in the grass "so we dont look suspicious mum". No muggles around until we headed back to the car. Never new this development was so big. TFTC
We'd visited this park a couple of weeks ago but there was a family playing cricket so had to give it a miss. Back this afternoon on our way home from a few GROTTYs in Manukau and the coast was clear so to speak. Walked over and made a nice quick find, started signing log and a couple of kids popped through a gate in the fence from a nearby house. Had to take the cache for a drive around the block and come back. Kids gone and cache replaced back in its hiding spot - TFTC!
Thanks for easy find here ....
Was so surprised by this area .....is it meant to be a park or what ? Most peculiar !
Just a flat empty section with not even a single tree !

I stopped by today and didn't see the cache, so I replaced it with a new one. Site is quite clean, I so I am awarding five stars to this area.
#3232. Today I headed out around the city to pick up quite a few challenge caches and any other traditional caches that happened to be nearby. Caching on a public holiday is useful as the traffic is quite light in the city and most businesses were all closed. As soon as I pulled up by the park I knew this one would be tricky. So many houses looking onto the park and no cover whatsoever. Well I wandered over and had a look in the likely spots. No cache was seen. The neighbours pulled out in their car then stopped. The lady came over to ask what I was looking at. Apparently they have just had a new fence built and she thought I was inspecting that. I explained I was searching for a small hidden container as part of an online game and wasn't planning to burgle her house. She headed off and so did I. Not sure if the fencers found the cache or covered its hiding spot. If its still there it is not easy to find.
A familiar spot which I had been past in the past. I didn't have a look that time as there was to much muggle activity about the place. Today the coast was clear and the find was quick. TFTC, Biggles.
Enjoyed a BBQ and fireworks with friends and then realised on our way home that we had forgotten our cache of the day, did a U turn and headed to the nearest grotty cache. MrNZT jumped out and grabbed this one while the rest of the team stayed nice and cosy in the car. TFTC!
We went on a trip out to Takanini area to find a specific cache, so while out there we went out towards Ardmore & found a lot of Grotty caches as well.
Thanks for placing this cache Agazo
Quite an exposed place.
At the previous grotty my dog fell into the drainage gully, the one with steep sides.
All wet now.

5.10pm - We have been caching in Auckland for awhile. Up this weekend to add event numbers to our challenge we are working on. Spotted a huge number of grotty caches so thought we would try and tick off as many of this series. Amazed and annoyed as to how much rubbish is dumped around this region. Residents should take a bit more pride around the area. Most caches were quickly found with a trend in hiding locations. SLTFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Visiting Auckland for the purpose of attending an event today... It's been a while since we were last here, and it looks like we have a lot of work to do.
From the outset, we unintentionally began picking up Grotty caches. Before we knew it, we were up to our eyeballs in it... While most caches were quick finds, visiting each location took its toll... We have seen some of the most appalling, filth laden sites in South Auckland. The joy of receiving a smiley is counterbalanced with the need to erase ones' memory of the things we've seen. We pity any caching visitors who may think New Zealand is clean and green. Their perception of this country will be shot to ribbons on this trail...
Anyway, we came for a smile and we succeeded... TFTC.

I was heading to paintballing at Clevedon for late morning and as it was supposed to be raining later in the day, it meant if i wanted any caches, and I did, it was going to have to be before. So headed into South Auckland area and started collecting.
No clue what the hint was, but from someones log I knew which side I had to be on and how far to go, found something that looked like a cache but wouldnt open, then spotted the familiar container, aha!

Out and about with Pagenz on a grotty weather day in Auckland, picking up some grotty caches and whatever else we happened to be passing.
I spent a few hours this morning chasing down some of the GROTTY caches. Thanks for the series.
Out and about with Team Welsh on a rather damp day. Saw dead rats, wrecked cars and lots of rubbish. T4tc
Should have looked where i first suspected, instead did a wide scout. Then back to the suspicious area and walluh
Cops arrived , looked dodgy and scared a few children. Thought my clown mask might have made it extra exciting but guess not. Otherwise enjoyed my time not finding anything.
Was wondering what this one was going to be like as a similar one in a nearby area really lived up to its name; thankfully this one was much better. TFTC.
I'm glad there was only a splash of red left in the bottom of the bottle to have with dinner as it meant when this popped up (yay for the return of notifications!) I was able to don the woolly hat and scarf and hit the road! All quiet at my parking spot but was confused about how to access GZ right inbetween the houses??? Oh, it's behind the houses. Well there I had company, but thankfully it was a tame white rabbit who wasn't interested in an FTF. Overshot GZ for the corner but then realised my mistake. Then got distracted by a very promising tube nicely nestled in the structure. But there was no log there. How about here then? Ah, here it is! The old familiar Agazo Tube. Future finders should beware of sticking hands into holes. There's lots of grotty items about including broken glass. Stick to GL and you'll be fine. Been a while since I found a GROTTY. Thanks for the fresh air and my August FTF sorted! FTF at 8.15pm
