Found some great geocaches today in the Southern Highlands! Enjoyed the adventure and the beautiful scenery
Reperio 19:45Up early again this morning for a full day of caching around the Yass and Goulburn area, and fortunately the rain that hung around all day yesterday had mostly passed by. While the ground was still pretty wet, most of the caches were found in good order, which contributed to another great day caching in the area.Gratias CountrykittykatAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Thanks! Nice stop before going onto the highway. Log was a bit moist but still good enough to write on.
Goulburn Day 3 & have settled into the caravan park for the next few days. Our plan today was to head out of town to do the challenge cache series & then home via TallongDuring the day we stopped at a VC rest stop & also a few other caches that we passed along the way.A nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks Countrykittykat for hiding this cache.
In Canberra now and today concentrating on the caches in Goulbourn.Caching with and signing 5 for QLD.TFTCache Countrykittykat
Another day spent Pre-Mega geocaching. Today we are chasing caches out of Goulburn, signing Log sheets as "5 for QLD" to save space. Five in a car meant we had a lot of funNice hide.Log signed and cache replaced as found on March 21, 2024. TFTC, Countrykittykat

A quick find here today. The new log and container are in good condition. Thanks, Countrykittykat.
Thought I'd look for this & head back but upon arrival saw a truckie having a rest on the grass so another time
#7109- This one has apparently moved since a previous finder found it, but it was a simple enough hide anyway. Thanks- the first of some caches by this CO while down from the mountains today, trying to complete the harder challenge for the month.
I never really like caches in Oz with long grass, as you never really know if are lurking. So I made kimbathelion go first. Luckily all good. Apart from when we got to GZ log too wet to sign unfortunately. Tftc
Being a kiwi I was a bit concerned about the long grass but made a lot of noise & there were no incidents. Cache located but too wet to sign.
Out and about today looking for something to pass the time. Decided to find a cache before heading back home. This one was close to where we were at the time so decided to stop by and collect it.
We parked the car and headed towards GZ. Once there, my children decided to point out to me that I had taken the hardest route possible. I made the find relatively quickly, much to the kids' disgust. I retrieved the log, but unfortunately, it was too wet to actually sign it. A photo was taken for proof.
We replaced everything as found and returned the cache to its hiding place.
TFTC and the adventure.

Having to go on a spontaneous drive towards Sydney to pick up some stranded memeber of the family I thought I should use my spare half an hour to do some caches in an area I rarely get the time to cache.
Quick find, god container just need proper closing;), (I found it half open) all in good order now.
Thank you Countrykittykat for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

On a road trip from our home to out daughter’s home in Geelong with the Mum in law. Decided to take it slow and do the trip over two days with plenty of opportunities for roadside caches, so unfortunately these will mostly be copied posts.

Sent the muggle hubby in to retrieve the cache as earlier in the day I had managed to badly sprain my ankle. A nice easy find for him, and he brought the cache to the car so I could perform the signing duties. TFTC Countrykittykat

Found by Mary and David at 11:30. Curious cattle came running up to the fence line. Think they were looking for us to feed them. The rain seems to have stopped too. Found on the ground in the open. Replaced in the obvious spot. Our thanks to Countrykittykat.
On my way home from doing some caches in the Penrose area. A quick and easy find, thanks Countrykittykat.

A day trip with The Matetrix to Kiama for a family get together. A little cool and overcast to start, but the skies cleared and it warmed up nicely. Just one of many finds for the day. TNLNSL TFTC
And so day 2 dawns on our caching long weekend, the bodies somewhat weary from the crow adventure but not to be deterred we set off on another highland adventure. A simple but effective cache worth a fav for this. Tftc

Mrs Aries and I are hoping to grab some caches on our trip to Tumut. And to spend sometime geocaching in and around the area. In pouring rain made the find. Wasn't sure at first but sort of looked a bit out of place.

I came up to Wingello before sun-up to check out some dog sports happening in the forest today. Picked up a few caches in Wingello and along Highland Way on the way home.
I wandered hither and thither trying to find a good hiding place. I admired the lounge setting in the ditch before eventually finding it - spot on the coords. Did not expect to find one of those here. Pays to not have preconceptions when hunting GCs.
Thanks for the cache, Countrykittykat

We'd spent the night in Sydney over the Queen's Birthday long weekend, and were headed home to Canberra. Since we left so early, we decided to make a detour off the highway to find a few caches. We had a nice time, there were hardly any cars around, and no muggles to be seen.
This was a cool hide! We've seen similar ones before, but this one was one of the best. TFTC!

Doing a sample of the ones around Tallong and geowife found this one and admired the concept, hence a favourite is awarded. Thanks.
