As there's been no cache to find for a long time, and it appears to have been abandoned, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

With so many DNF logs and a Needs Maintenance log, dated back in August, that has not been acted upon by the CO, It's time to bring this cache to the attention of a Reviewer to determine it's future.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
There seem to be a lot of consecutive DNF in a row, so could the CO Horn20, please check on this one and/or replace.
DNF for this one, I looked at all the likely spots you would/could hide a cache around GZ, also looked at previous logs for any hints. Looks like the foliage at GZ was cut down. Getting the news in the morning that we need to be home before 5 o'clock as there is an other lockdown, this means we won't be back for a good while as this is well and truly outside the 5km area from home. Horn20.
Attempted to find this at 11:53AM on this Thursday the 5th of August in the year 2021

Nothing like a challenge, seeing this had not been found for a while. It would appear the the tree has had one too many reds, and fallen over/died. GZ points right at the the fallen one, so we had a look in the ones near, but came away empty handed. Why here anyway, i dont get it.
Cahe hide needs to be checked.. Several DNF's and the surrounds are different as per log.
Where im pretty sure it is i dont feel comfortable having to go that close to their property and car
20,347. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
After heading off early this morning we were cherry-picking caches heading towards Scone for the night. This was the next stop and find of the trip. Parked near GZ for a quick search and find.

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 1. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway. We were headed to Tamworth but only made it as far as Scone on the first day. It was a long day of driving with caching only in the afternoon.
Thanks.

Cache found with the container open, and contents scattered around. Put it all back together, and placed where I think it should be, but CO should probably check on it. Very close to the nearby house with dogs that we're not happy with my presence
Day three will take me from Moree to Muswellbrook. Lots of caches, a few trigs and a whole lot of fun. Tftc

969 of 1266 kilometres into my journey from Brisbane to Sydney.
My first find this morning after camping overnight at Burning Mountain.
I thought this was a bit of an unusual place to put a cache, BUT it was everything I needed this morning. I pulled off the New England Highway to make a very speedy find, then returned back to the road. Onward to Sydney! TFTC.

1st cache found in New South Wales Shire Of Muswellbrook - Australian Local Government Area #67.

After visiting some cellar doors it was time for a bit of geocaching. The 'Rock' series in Muswellbrook is a nice little cluster of caches. We enjoyed the walk across this area, spotting lots of kangaroos around this area. And with the sun out, I was alert on snakes. Luckily I did not see any. After the Rock series, I also stopped at this cache. Easy find!

The OZ Geomuster is over.
So much fun and games and catching up with friends and meeting new friends.
I have now officially left the showgrounds and am heading home.
But of course there has to be a detour to go find a cache a cache or two ... or three ... or ... Good thing I have 4 more days to travel home.
I found a close place to park ... And a short walk.
Found after a short search. [^]
Thanks for the cache.

An over night stop here at the showgrounds. We met up with Liz and Bruce & went out together to find a few caches. There are some very clever, sneaky & well constructed caches in the area. Really enjoyed finding the many different types.
Thanks for placing this cache Horn20

Up early to get a few more of the great caches here before having to leave town. This was one we targetted and found. Thank Horn20 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
We are heading from Brisbane to Bright in Victoria, caching as we go, wherever it is safe to pull up with the caravan. We left Brisbane on 3rd Jan and don't have to be in Bright til the end of the month. Today's drive takes us from our camp at Lake Liddle back to Muswellbrook to do some the Rock # series. Having completed this walk in the park, we decided to try out hand at the two caches by Horn20
Did not waist any time in finding this one. Congrats on 50 finds Horn 20

A quick find. Has the CO done maintenance as we found a nice new, unsigned log book? Thanks Horn20
Messed up here and entered the no go side of the fence. The cache was spotted from there though so it was a quick turnaround and we were at GZ. A nearby dog raised the alarm and let everyone know we were caching in the area.
The container was quite wet so we drained the water out of it. The log was damp but signable.
Thanks.

Find #953
Day one of our boys geocaching and camping weekend today, we drove out to Scone finding 21 caches and two DNFs. The heat (and the flies) got to the kids after a while, and we called stumps for the day. Tomorrow we drive up into the mountains!
Our last in Muswellbrook, it was really hot by now, and we almost didn't stop for this one.... We did though, and with the three of us looking, it was 4 year old Oliver who spotted it, he was thrilled to say the least. The cache is in good condition, thanks for the effort I can see you went to in giving it a good paint job, and using a quality log book. Good stuff Horn20

Thanks for a nice quick grab! Did this one at night. Sent in SammyJ94 to grab this one out TFTC
Have done a few thousand caches now but have rarely felt more exposed and observed than I did while finding this one. TNLN TFTC
This is our final day of cacheing for this visit to the Muswellbrook area. At least the sun was obliging for a change. This was one of 13 caches we did today. The quality of most of the caches we have found has delighted us. Easy find
Thanks Horn20 for your efforts

Hurray, my FTF for a while, now makes my total 4.
An easy find, but nice spot.
Welcome to the world of owning your own geocache and receiving visitor messages.
I have retrieved your Travel Bug and have kidnapped one of the toy soldiers and attached it to the bug. I will be dropping it off when I next go caching outside Muswellbrook.
