Logs
Found after some methodical searching. A bit off from the posted coords. Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC
A geocheck reveals cache still in place just off the roadway, beside a small tree
Coordinates changed from:S 34 4.339 E 150 28.850Coordinates changed to:S 34 4.341 E 150 28.848Distance from original: 15.8 feet or 4.8 meters.A slight adjustment to coordinates. Cache is no more than 5 metres off road. Good to go
Looked around, didnt see it, looked down to see 2 leeches, had a panic attack and gave up. No thanks.
Gave up looking for this one due to the fact that the leeches found us first.. Will come back another day
Searched for a good half hour. Sat down to think and found leaches up our legs. We'll come back when it's drier.
Coordinates changed from:S 34 4.317 E 150 28.849Coordinates changed to:S 34 4.339 E 150 28.850Distance from original: 134.0 feet or 40.8 meters.Cache located in original position, some grass had grown nearby however due to the local farmer seemingly objecting to geocachers searching just outside his property, the cache has been relocated on the opposite side of the road and a little further south. A new log put in and cache a little more visible. Good to go again
DNF ,Definitely spot no cache after longer searched, nothing there.. need to CO maintenance
Couldnt see anything around GZ but after reading previous log we thought we would go before confrontation.
Third one found on this rainy arvo ... working my way back to Camden area. Container has separated but still in good condition. Freaked out when I got back to the car to discover two leaches had attached themselves to me ... aaahhh!!! Got those little suckers off pretty darned quick!TNLNSL.TFTC ...
Looked hard for the cache and came back around on the drive down to look again but to no avail. There was evidence of soot and ash around from a recent burn so unsure whether the cache survived or maybe I just need to look harder next time and bring a more seasoned cacher along with me.. hmm
30,025. Found during an invasion of the 'Bargo up to Penrith' region on the Canberra Day long weekend with a great bunch of Cachers.
With the Canberra Day long weekend upon us, a number of Canberra region Cachers performed an invasion of the Bargo up to Penrith area. Canberra Day Invasion 2023 (signed as CDI23) consisted of minniek, Joolay, Kittykatch, isopeda, barb2e, albida33, smittengranny, Nibbletricecakes, GLISS!, Contesta, EverestHigh and myself. After half the group did a nearby 2001 Multi, we all caught up and hit the trail for many many caches. This was the next CDI23 find. Nice quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks Dragons2010 !!

Fitzy_1965 & I headed to the Picton region today with a bunch of friends from Canberra for our Canberra Day long weekend invasion (the joys of living in NSW but working in ACT for me). All caches were signed as CDI23.
We had a fun day finding, trads, puzzles & multis and a few AL's for good measure. We ended up at dinner at a great Thai restaurant after the event in Picton itself.

With a long weekend in Canberra who can resist getting away! Joined a great bunch on friends to tackle a bit of the Picton area. The day included a big investment of time in an oldie (lots of fun) and then lots of caching in the region. A really delightful day trip with barb2e, Kittykatch, isopeda, albida33, fitzy_1965, Minniek, joolay, Smittengranny, contesta, EverestHigh and GLISS! Signed most of the caches as CDI - for Canberra Day Invasion. Thanks to all the cache owners for the fun!
Picton & Penrith Canberra Day weekend Invasion. Day 2. Today the trip got underway with the team caching. I sat out the walk to 'More', which I had done many years ago and joined up after a late morning break. The group was made up of Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Joolay, Kitty Katch, Barb2e, Isopeda, Smitten Granny, Contesta, Gliss! and Nibletricecakes. EverestHigh joined a little later on. We had a huge list of caches to do and we got underway on a warming day. As things looked to be running out of time we changed to the end of the list to get to the Dam for a virtual and then cached out way back to Picton to get to the event and a chance to meet some locals and others caching in the area today. Dinner was a great local Picton Thai restaurant followed by finishing Lab caches before I headed back to Bargo for the night.
As we headed back to Picton we stopped for as many roadside caches as we could, pleas a bit of a lap of the two small towns we passed through.
Thanks for the cache Dragons2010

Found with EverestHigh on our way back from the lookout. It seems the bison has fall out of it's camo, but all good with the log and cache otherwise. TFTC
In the area this afternoon for a caching run. Almost needed to tie our shoes on this one as several cars passed during the hunt. Finally spotted and lucky we didn't turn the outer container in the wrong direction as the little cache nearly fell out. With the cache in hand, we signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache Dragons2010.

What brilliant camo , put two and two together with the hint I realised what I should be looking for . My coordinates bounced me all over the place even had me across the road as I saw some geotracks . TFTC Dragons2010
The hunt continued around this area to put some more smileys on the map along with ilook4geo. This was another nice easy find. Many thank go to Dragon2010 for placing this cache.
Some more caches found around this area when we came along with goingplaces2. Had a good day and found what we wanted, just missing some for various reasons. Log signed and replaced. TFTC.
What a great hide, walked around this one for some minutes till the penny dropped, good one.tfth.
After doing the nearby AL I decided a quick detour to Burragorang Lookout was in order ... and as a bonus, I was able to score a few smilies along the way.
Thanks for this one dragons2010 ... right where my phone's took me to.

We cam e out here the day the fires swept through in 2020 and obviously were turned away, today with regrowth occuring we manged to grab most of them.

Really behind on my logs and only just catching up, sorry for any generic type logs!
Out for an afternoon geo-adventure with LIttl3Vix, seeing where we could get a few caches. It'd been awhile since we had been to the Burragorang lookout and there were a few on the way so it was the perfect trip. I was grateful to be able to park very close to GZ here as traffic had started to pick up on the road and we would have been very exposed other wise lol. Checking the hint helped us quickly find the cache and after signing, be on our way. Thanks for this series!

Find #479 on streak day #156.
Getting into the geomobile today with MizCupcake to see where the afternoon will lead. An overcast day and rain called for an easy trip and some scenic views. So we started to make our way to the Burragorang Lookout. Our 6th find for the day. Parking the geomobile close to gz. Checking the hint helped us out and made for a quick and easy find on this road this is semi busy today. This cache is cute, I love the size. It was good to both complete signing duties, replace and move along to our final goal. Always good to see the regeneration a year after the chos we had. TFTC!

Our second family find on this rainy old Sunday. Outstanding camo! Very natural!! TFTC!
Appears to have been vegetation maintenance lately. A new cache container plus a new log completed, good to go
Although what looked like was probably the hiding spot was sitting on top of a post, no luck here today.
I’m pretty sure I found the camo for this however the container is not in it. Needs to be replaced
Came out to the lookout this afternoon. Great views, hadn't been here for nearly 20 years.
Cheers

Suspected what we would be looking for and bingo, right where the arrow pointed. TFTC Dragons2010 xo
I needed to get out of the house last week so I wouldn't go nuts and needed some peace and quiet... Out to the west!

Out for a caching day with Gundrills. Nice little hide. Thanks Dragons2010
As it was standing upright it seems to have gotten wet, maybe make sure when you replace it, you lay it side ways as upright it gathers water.
Note: we have replaced o-ring and put the log in a bag.

Today we drove up to Narellan and Camden for some shopping, lunch and geocaches of course.
Before heading back to Sydney, I wanted to do this short trail to the Burragorang Lookout. All caches were found in good order.

Yay! Another one found. Today’s a good caching day. I’m enjoying the different camos in this stretch. It’s been a while since I’ve seen one like this but enjoyed the change from the stock standard throw downs we usually see.
Out on a perfect day for geocaching. Spotted this one almost immediately- the red gave it away. This area is a haven of pine cones. I was tempted to collect some to take home but most seemed to have landed over the fence. TFTC and history.
Out cache with oldmorty on a big day. This one of many caches we found along our travels. Thanks to all the cache owners for maintaining their caches
Took a while but we then found it

Out today for a day’s caching with marj01, no bush bashing, just park and grab. After heading off pre-dawn from the eastern suburbs we visited the towns of Wallacia, Warragamba, Narellan, The Oaks and Nattai. Lots of caches were found; on the ground, dangling in trees, on signs, in stumps and even one in a haunted house. Whilst most of the caches were familiar we did strike some very ingenious ones. A large percentage of the finds were quick, however, there were some that had us scratching our heads for a while. All in all, it was a very enjoyable day out and I would like to thank all the CO's of the caches for hiding and maintaining the caches that we visited. And yes, I did read the reason/history for each cache in the lead up to the trip.
