Last cache before our lunch stop in Beaumont. MrsP&Vee had coverage to get the hint, but no sadly not found. Day trip with P&Vee and Hubbies pretty successful until now.
On a mission with Mr & Mrs VDH56 to finish off these caches to Beaumont. I finally had coverage here which I was pleased about as even with the hint we couldn't find it so pleased to read that others have not also. Not too worried as closed to Beaumont for our lunch stop and not too far to come on future trips to Central.

It is strongly recommend that whilst we go for a walk for exercise, we need to take care on shared surfaces and geocaching should not be done at this time; https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/New+Zealand
To remove temptation, I am disabling this cache and ask kindly that you do not find this cache during lockdown.
Remember there is more than physically finding a cache, there are plenty of puzzle caches you can do at home. Or if you live near a multi you can walk the trail and save the find for another day. For more info or connect with wider community see Geocaching New Zealand on Facebook.

Bagged this one on the way past. Cheers
Thursday 12 November. Its exploring the Clutha River today to Beaumont and back down to Lawrence. Lets get moving Toby.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Headed out today to pick off a bunch of caches alongside the mighty Clutha, as part of a last-minute effort to grab the final souvenir for the Museum challenge. Ohhh... THAT'S what that meant. Took me a bit - I'll blame it a little on the fatigue that was beginning to settle in - it had been a very long day, after all. Cheers!
Found on a mission with RowenaD whilst working on the mystery at the museum series. Tftc
Found on a sunny ANZAC day cruise. Probably 30 years since we last went down this road.
One of 16 caches located today as we meandered our way from Roxburgh to Gore, mostly alongside the Clutha River, on a very pleasant autumn day.
Decided we’d stop for just a few caches on this stretch of road, otherwise we’d never reach our destination! Took a brief moment to find this one. #2419. TFTC.

Passing by this cache as I headed to Alex to go to some maintenance on discovering gold, then the plan was to go back home via clydevale to check on some of those caches on the trail.
All good here.
All good here.
On our South Island adventure from Perth WA. A nice easy find with Spuddycakes in tow. TFTC
Today I was driving from Tapanui in Central Otago, through to Dunedin, stopping to find a few caches along the way. This cache was found along the way. TFTC! (Apologies for my log being over 4 months late!)
Recent floods in area, in particular the River Clutha means this cache could be in poor condition or missing. I am unsure if can make it before Christmas to check on it. Please do not do a throw down... but emptying water or adding in new paper would be rewarded with good karma thoughts from this CO.
After dropping geokids off at a camp...lets go caching!!!!
Ahhh bliss.... adult time!!!
Sitting in the navigator's seat, telling downsouthinv where to go, what more could a girl ask for!!

When dakotacats suggested a day of caching I was keen as, so armed with my brand new username off we set. This was our first find for the day and as were most caches throughout the day, an easy and straightforward find. Thanks Natalie for this series and your cache has the honour of being my first official find!
Our first find of 52 for the day. A straight forward cache which 4Clubs got her hands on first. TFTC

found this one on the ground. Replaced as found as it seemed a bit safer there and wasn't going to fall again. TFTC # 12,167

Found cache as the name suggests, seen the TB as it made its way in to TT's hands then it was off down the road to beaumont and a well deserved burger
A quick stop along the way... We had a great caching day, thanks for bringing us here.
Great day out caching in the area, lot of neat caches, and interesting spots. Many Thanks Bitsprayer
Took a lovely weekend drive up through Heriot and Beaumont, before following the Clutha river down to Clydevale and heading home. We enjoyed all the caches we did on the way, thanks for the hide
Been meaning to do the Beaumont --> Balclutha run for a while, today was the day. A series of well hidden, easy finds. Thanks.
Overshot this one and had to walk back to get it but it was a great day for a walk

I drove up to make a start on this line of caches and i am now finally logging them. This was in plain sight from the road.
I had past up this road only about a week before on way to Balclutha but i hadn't done my home work on what was here and on that first trip we didn't have time to stop much so i opted for the further afield caches. These were all a quick easy finds except perhaps the The Rusted one was a short quandry as my Gps wanted me to 'enter' the pond/mud a little beyond the actually cache site which i found with reading previous logs. Not sue why it is called Rusted Also at the hanging cache my Gps didn't want to settle and again the name and previous logs helped out here. Thank you for these caches and maybe another time i will get further along the road.

I picked off a few "park 'n' grabs" down this road to extend my trip, making the drive over Mahinerangi worthwhile. Thanks.
I believe this cache is ok following heavy rainfall over last 48 hrs, however roads in the area have been affected. A state of Emergency is still in place - for upto date info on roads go to www.dunedin.govt.nz/road-conditions
A large portion of my caches have been in affected area and I am currently through work/voluenteering have to focus on other post flooding activities.
As I expect it will be at least 1 week until I can do effective maintenance runs to check and replace caches I apologise now if you were hoping to claim this for a dot day/Mary Hyde gold and it is not in its expected state.
I would be grateful for any comments on what needs to be done and help empty water and provide dry logs.

Returning home from a short winter break near Alexandra and decided to branch right at Beaumont and take the path less travelled. Very grateful to all the COS for their caches that took us this way. Well worth the detour. Forgive the copied logs bit too many to personalise. TFTC
A quick easy find, although the cache was lying on the ground. We replaced it where we thought it should be, but aren't sure it will remain in place. TFTC
Um still looking for the shed but con was an easier find. Was just sitting on the ground. The little woman exited the large sharp swag and changed the ripped bag. I SL and returned to the title/hint. I swapped a Czech wooden coin but it's only a cheap one with no code. Will pop it in another cache somewhere. The other ones make good swag for newbies starting out discovering TB's. I will leave the little woman to move the real coins around. TFTC
Had a quick think, all in the name. Soon in hand, nice interlude off the track.

Hubby spotted the likely cache location as we pulled up at GZ. A good sized cache with not much in it, and unfortunately we don't have much with us to add. A serene wee rural spot. Tftc
Having a lovely picnic amongst the most stunning scenery. and finding a few caches around this lovely road. Thanks for the excuse to visit. And for the well maintained caches.
Found the cache in good hide, threw in some swag, changed the mini bag and grabbed the goods in a poly baggy. TFTC
Heading to Central for the weekend so a wee detour was in order to make a start on another of Natalie's series caches. A beautiful drive along the river on a lovely sunny spring day. Nice quick find (dropped off a TB) and off to the next. TFTC
Out for a day hunting down the caches along the Clutha with Kiwigeoswami. Quick easy find TFTC
First glance of the cache container made me think it was made out of granite! TFTC
Papa and Guwapo on a road trip with Debsnz and Aorakisheep. A quick find by Debsnz. Salamat!
Stopped within a few metres of GZ and we could almost reach it without getting out of the car. Found with Aoraki Sheep and Guwapo
(FTF) #75 @2205. Down here with Sirbennis to get a few new caches. This was a quick park and grab and on to the next one. TFTC
