Headed out after the pool.. second one on my list. Youre right.. nice view. However today was pretty hazy! All good here.. thanks
My Physio has asked me to reduce the amount of walking I do while my knee is in recovery. So today I set off to do some park-n-grab caches. I started off in Bundamba and this was another ideal cache for today. An easy find and an interesting place. The area is quickly being built out and I suspect the blocks that are currently for sale up on the hill here will one day be highly valued for their wonderful view. Thanks for another great cache emyjem!
This was my first find of the day as I was running slightly early for parkrun at Ipswich. A short circuit detour had me stop here, and I thought this may have taken a few minutes to find, but it turned out to be a quick find, which was good. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I wasn't exactly expecting the "different" view of the housing suburb looking down from this vantage point. Thanks emyjem for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Today, my primary plan was hiking Wilson's Peak as part of the [Willy's Peakers](https://coord.info/GCAC7JQ) event. Subsequently, it was an early morning drive south towards the Qld-NSW border via Ipswich parkrun and Boonah. Following the mountain hike, I then used my afternoon to drive through Killarney and the smaller towns east of Warwick, like Tannymorel, Junabee, and Freestone, before then returning home via Cunningham’s Gap, Warrill View, and Walloon. Locations from the [Join Muriel on a trip around the Southern Downs](https://adventurelab.page.link/oPPR) Adventure Lab were also visited, with those relevant murals being a highlight.

I am on holidays up from Victoria on a road trip for an exciting family event coming up next weekend.
I'm out today finding hides with my soon-to-be sister-in-law Zannerfry.
Finding some quick ones on a lunchtime run there is not much parking near GZ but a short walk up the hill and the find was achieved.
I want to say thank you to the CO for the placement and up keep of this hide
great work

Quick find at gz. View isn't amazing anymore due to trees and the rubbish on the ground doesn't make it so amazing anymore either. Such a shame.
During our recent stay in Ipswich we found this cache and signed the log.

Something was building a nest in the container but I'm not sure if it survived the log extraction. Thanks for the cache

In QLD for a family event, and checking out of our accomodation today. Before hitting the road, a quick find with the geocaching family members before hitting the road to head home.
Reasonably simple find before signing the log and replacing as found.

Our original plan was to spend the day caching around Ipswich before checking into our hotel for celebratory drinks. The heat was winning the fight and we decided it would be better to hang out in some shopping centre aircon like vagrants and then hit the hotel at the first possible minute.
We had some cold bubbles in the car fridge but even we could hear it starting to complain about the heat. We knew we had to take care of our favourite children so we decided to make this our last find of the day and be responsible parents and not let the wine get hot.
The down side is that it meant we were starting the fiesta a couple of hours before beer o’clock. Rather than run out of wine early we headed straight for the air conditioned bottle shop to stock up for the afternoon and night. tftc

Was on the Southside caching. I got 18 finds today. The breakdown was 7 traditional, 1 earthcache and 2 adventure labs with 10 waypoints.
I had lots of fun today.
Sorry for the generic log.

Out for a day of caching with Willis007, Nayfee and Nikid1. I had a list of caches that where required for certain reasons of D/T, 360, age and just because we were passing. However, the main aim of the day was to walk Mt. Blain then grab a few caches in the Ipswich area.
Finally in the Ipswich area, chasing caches and doing some adventure labs along the way as well. With no one around here today we parked not far from GZ.
With the hint supplied we all pretty much had a good idea as to where the hide was. With phones a blaze the cache was soon discovered after a couple of looks. Time to start heading home but there is always time for one more cache, not this time. It was a great day of caching and adventures with our new member of the team. Thanks for placing this one here and with log signed and cache replaced as found we were on our way to the last one for the day.

After hatching a plan with Nikid1, chamad and NayFee to visit Mt Blaine, we targeted a few caches as we headed towards home, this was on our target list along with some of the terrific ALs in Ipswich.
With 4 pairs of eyes on the job you'd think we'd find this quickly, not this time! It took a bit of looking but we got there in the end - I say it was because we had had a long day. Our names added to the log we continued our journey.
Thanks sagebubbles for the cache.

Out and about with Nikid1, Willis007 and Chamad for a spot of caching around Ipswich and surrounds for the day.
By the time we arrived at GZ it was completely dark, so out came the phone torches. We noted the hint and proceeded to check every metal surface for signs of the cache and sure enough we struggled to find the bugger. We thoroughly searched everything and were about to give up but I decided to check one last spot and felt something out of place, sure enough it was the cache.
With the log signed and the cache replaced we decided to call it quits for the day.

This was the last of the “just one more” found for today. The sun was setting so torches were needed but we found it just where we thought it would be. Just took us 2 looks to find it!
Nice views from here.

Out with Geopartner in Ipswich and surrounds today.
I wandered in to GZ and soon had a cache in hand.
Admired the view while signing the log and returned to where I found it.

After an engagement in Bundamba, I had some time to take a diffetent view of Ipswich.
The grass has been recently mowed right up to GZ, so today it was a really quick find. Good one.
Log signed and replaced on July 9, 2019 at 12:15 PM. TFTC, sagebubbles.

Nice easy find and being quite new to this I keep forgetting a pen. However the log is full so recommend next person to go to take a new one.
Out for another day of cycling with a little geocaching to provide rest stops along the way. I caught the train to Ipswich and started my loop back home by bike. After a bad run of DNF’s ( 4 in a row) the day settled down after that. (Appears that 2 of the 4 had gone MIA and the other 2 well maybe I had not woken up or the DNF’s left a bad taste in my eyes)
Took the route straight up from Lorrikeett St which was rather steep on the bike. Great views from up here. Location Plus.

Yaaay!! I'm off on my Brisbane trip. Sad to be leaving my lady and her kids. I shall have to cheer myself up with geocaching ...
I've done some pocket queries and some research on the results. I'm trying to meet lots of targets for Professor Rapidly Wild's UGC series at home, so I'm seeking :
Two caches placed in 2000 - none found so far
One cache placed in 2001 - none found so far
119 caches of size "Regular" - Thirty-one found so far
20 caches of size "Large" - One found so far
One letterbox in Qld - Two found, target met
One letterbox in NSW - none found so far
Any puzzles and multicaches I can reasonably find.
I've located enough caches to find on this trip on this trip to complete all but the last target. So we'll see how I go.
The objectives today are to lay in supplies (scotch), walk the dogs, and find a cache. All objectives are now met. I found this one easily, and the views were indeed excellent. Now to go and test the scotch ...
Day 1, Monday - 12 in total, including five "Regular" sized caches.
Day 2, Tuesday - 16 in total, including one "Large" and eight "Regular" sized caches
Day 3, Wednesday - 21 in total, including thirteen "Regular" sized caches and one Qld letterbox
Day 4, Thursday - 4 in total, comprising four "Regular" sized caches and one Qld letterbox
Day 5, Friday - one, to keep my streak going.
Day 6, Saturday - one, to keep my streak going.
Day 7, Sunday - one, "Regular", to keep my streak going.
Day 8, Monday - one, to keep my streak going.
Thanks for this one.

We’re heading off to the Queanbeyan mega this morning and decided to take a little detour to find this cache. This cache is also a little milestone for us - as of now, we have found a Traditional cache on every day of the year.
Good coords made for a quick find. All is nice and dry here.
Thanks for this cache emyjem.

Our last couple of caching days have focussed on the northside & slightly west so today we thought we'd scratch around a few spots near Ipswich to collect a few smilies still roaming free!
Our tenth of 15 finds today.
A note to the COs of the caches we found today … please excuse any discrepancies between physical log dates & online log dates, I just couldn't get my act together & I'm sure I had 7/8, 8/7, 7/7 & who knows what else on some of the earlier finds.
Can't help Old Timer's!
Pulled off the road & walked straight to the cache.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
We decided here was a great spot to get Winter the Geo-cat out for a leg stretch even though she didn't seem too impressed.
Moments later Mrs VC called out "FTF 3 kilometres away!"
Winter got her wish & Was back in the Geo-Beast before you could say 'GO!' LOL …
Hit 'TURBO' & the chase was on!

Now in Ipswich for medical appointments, today we managed to head out and cache as we completed some tasks on our todo list.
