Found on the way home after helping out with a bike ride based at Strath. It was raining on the way here, let up for a few minutes then started pouring again as I drove off. Thanks for the cache Team Waldron.
Hard to extract container, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to CO On our way to visit friends nearby, picking up a new LGA.
TFTC,In the area to visit friends and pick up LGA's if we are in new ones.Quick find, visited trackables.
Three Confused Puzzlers out for another Tuesday Trek. After the Rat was delivered to my cave, we trekked down to the Starfish's pool and then set out to see what could be found. The growing series of trads around Mount Barker were probably my main aim (all the newies were found, even scored a FTF on one) but quite a few others were found as well and we ended up in Strathalbyn before it was time to head home.Another quick find just for me, thanks fellow Confused Puzzlers. Thanks to Team Waldron for making this cache available to be found.Cache #14399 for me.This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. In reality we signed this cache on the 2/12/21, our GPS died on us yesterday and this meant that today we were caching using our phone. The phone showed that this one was still sitting on the map. SL TFTC
We spent the day caching towards and around Macclesfield and while we were there we enjoyed lunch at the local pub.
Many thanks for this cache Team Waldron

Mr Tardis was out for a nice motorbike ride through the back roads of the hills today, on such a nice Spring day.Heading home from Strath, I stopped here to find this one in the light drizzle. I'm happy to say I found the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Team Waldron.PS: Sorry for the delay in logging. I'm slowly getting though my backlog of finds.

Full time nomads exploring SA, currently staying in Strathalbyn. Up at 5am for the ANZAC dawn service then off geocaching. On return to the caravan park (footy oval) another ANZAC service was under way before the A grade match.
It was lovely driving through towns and past houses that had put out tributes as we drove around.
LEST WE FORGET, they served to give us our freedom.

Great to take the back road from Macclesfield to Strathalbyn, especially when there's a cache along the way .

Catching up with late logs.
We made a spur of the moment choice to visit South Australia and try our luck at the Adventure Labs here as well as anything else that popped up close by.
We spotted this one and headed here looking at all the green as over home every thing is turning brown. Again we headed off to a logical location to hide a cache and again we were rewarded with a nice quick find and we have added our name to the log.
Thanks once more Team Waldron for the cache.

Having missed FTF on a Snakes and Ladders #2 cache a couple of days ago while with erine14, we'd arranged to come back this morning and brought alysse14 and JJ52 as well
After this we all drove to Kuitpo and did a TOTT cache together and shared a short walk into the new Joker cache then it was Meadows for lunch[^]
JJ52 and I continued caching in a loop from there to Strathalbyn, Langhorne Creek, Milang and concluded our day doing an adventure lab cache grab tour around Victor in the dark on a rainy wet night like a couple of old time smugglers[^]
1 DNF and 13 finds for a fantastic day out with lovely people[:X][^]
In the meantime, I was interviewed on the phone by a Melbourne uni group who are looking into geospatial awareness and thought geocachers may be able to assisst them in the information gathering stage of their app development I think we may have a new geocacher![^]
I made a swingng turn off the bitumen once I saw what this cache was That really is NOT a Schmidt of a road

The cache name made us a little apprehensive as we drove towards GZ but the road surface was quite good when we got there. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find although when attempting to retrieve the cache, the container flicked out into the paddock. Our trusty walking pole was all that was needed to retrieve it. The cache and contents wee in good condition. Thanks Team Waldron for the cache.
Picked this one up on my way home from work; just cruising the random roads in the lower hills.
Found on my way home after staying in Strathalbyn for work for a few days. Thanks for the cache Team Waldron!
On my way to Mount Gambier and got stuck behind a slow moving horse float, so I decided to grab a one just off the way. Strangely I got stuck behind it again about 15 minutes later but no more distractions found.
Thanks to Team Waldron from mogni

Came down to Strath yesterday and realized there were some new caches here since the last time I cleared it out. Didn't have enough time yesterday to look for them all so returned today to grab the rest. That was the plan but of course there was one I couldn't find so I will have to come back again.
Having added to my DNF total with another in Strath I decided to return home via an alternative route and try and clean one off the list. This time it was a quick find in the first place I had tried last time. Stamped the nice new log whilst being watched by both sheep and kangaroos from the paddock! [8)]

Out for a maintenance run on my caches. May as well call in and find a few as well.
That was the plan but it didn't go so well with me adding two DNF's to my ever growing list. This was the second one.
The obvious spot was of course the post but it was neither in nor by it. So I invoked rule 22, if in doubt spread out. I then found a very obvious SPOR being a tree a few metres away but alas no cache. So I invoked rule 22 again and went up to 15 metres one way, back the same the other, even the other side of the Schmidtty road but still no more obvious spots of caches. [B)] back to the GZ on my GPS for one last look. Even tired where only a micro or nano would fit. still nada. [:(!] You pwned this noob. [B)]
In the words of The Terminator. "I'll be back."
**Thanks Team Waldron for the search anyway. **

Found a week ago approx 10m from GZ...Container now missing in last 7 days...another Geo operator asked for help...piles of stones at location...nothing else.
No sign of this one today.
We had a good look everywhere, especially the obvious spot.
My rural son Sebastbat thinks the fence has been renewed, and this may have disturbed the cache hide.
He could be right !
Thanks for the challenge Team Waldron ,
will place on the watch list and return asap when it's been found or maintained!

This cache was attempted while participating in the Bike SA 2017 Annual Tour.
No joy here.

Looked in a very obvious spot but it was empty. Then searched the surrounding areas but nothing. Highly suspect this one has been muggled.
Found on a great day out caching after visiting Langhorne Creek wine show with Wal & Ol. TFTC!
Found with Pony1966 after a great afternoon wine tasting in Langhorne Creek. TFTC
found with getnict on the way to meet the group to do the Nurragi Walk series.
Decided to go for a nice Sunday drive that ended up being 300km from home to Strathalbyn, Wellington, Jervois and Tailem Bend grabbing the odd cache along the way. [^]
When I left home the sun was shining, but the further I drove the greyer and windier it got and I encountered the odd shower of rain, but mostly while I was driving, not while I was looking for caches...that was pretty lucky.
This was my first stop and a nice quick one along a nice dirt road.
Thanks for the cache Team Waldron.

Having a long weekend meant no work time to go out caching and get a few solved off the list. By the days end i ended up with a 2TF and a FTF all in all a total of 20 finds.
Quick park and grab. Didnt even get out the car. Didnt know rocks grow in posts

After work, after joey scouts, after dinner, after dark...headed out to get my daily cache with my dog, Mandy...day #101 cache # 3465...although it was dark it was a pleasant drive as there were a few Christmas lights on houses along the way...I was greeted at GZ by some cows mooing...a nice quick find before returning home...TFTC Team Waldron

A quick find on the way home from a pleasant visit to Milang. A nice detour which also to myself and Mrs AWTY! to Macclesfield. Thanks Team Waldron.
The road was a bit boggy today, but thankfully we identified the hide from the car. A nice quick find as we toured through the region today.
Thanks Team Waldron.
