After a marathon weekend (and maybe past) with my GC Adventure friends, DarkSideDan and QueenK8, enjoying a fun-filled geocaching trip. Its been a fantastic opportunity to explore so much, and of course share many laughs and/or head scratching along the way.All caches found were signed DQk10 or our personal IDs DSD, QueenK8 and C10A, depending who has found it before. All caches found were in range, good condition and ticked all boxes. Any concerns were logged with COs.Thanks for giving us another memorable adventure to add to our trip.Well be on the lookout for more caches as we continue exploring.More adventures ahead!Kind regards,C10Appel
Out and about today exploring the area with Geowife and Geodogs. All good here. What a lovely Cemetery. Now onto the next one for the day. TNLN TFTC
Easy find in this quiet place. Log sheet almost full and container broken. Needs maintenance TFTC
#17417 - 12:31:00 PM; Day 1 of the Rutherglen Mega mission. The plan for the day is to head to Deniliquin via Wagga, The Rock, Lockhart, Jerilderie, Conargo and Wandanella, adding a few counties to the tally along the way. All up 16 cache finds, 21 Adventure Labs and 4 DNFs. All caches were found in good condition and replaced as found. The container has seen better days, but the logbook was dry and snug in its ziplock bag. Apologies for the largely generic logs! TFTC The Farmers 5
Out and about caching today as we travel south . Found cache and signed log. TFTC
Last day of a midweek Victoria trip. Great caching and lots of driving. Found superb camping spots along the Murray. Detouring via Wagga Wagga on the way home.

What a quiet place! We amde a quick find and then took the time to have a look at some of the headstones. Thank you for giving us the excuse to stop here
Another lovely peaceful spot here. Cache found without issue. Thanks, Farmers 5.
We always love a cemetery cache and one that drips with Lutheran and German history is especially favoured. SL at 12.55pm Left: golden eagle pathtag as a nod to our German heritage. We didn’t find any names that are part of our family history, but our forebears settled in Victoria, not NSW. #8954 TFTC The Farmers 5
Out on a caching run to Lockhart and back with baby&Mrs gopher.
Strolled through and a quick find was had at GZ

A nice quick park and grab here this afternoon while passing by. Love a quaint little cemetery out of the way and the cache was soon found after a short walk from the car, thanks The Farmers 5 for the hide and for ringing me here.
Found by Team Ladava while visiting our sister and brother-in-law baby&Mrs gopher.
What a beautifully maintained old cemetery. We spent quit a while wandering around looking at the memorials
Our thanks to The Farmers 5 for the cache which was in good condition.

Caching today with Albida33, Minniek, Fitzy_1965 and GLISS! down and around Wagga. Great to be able to tackle the Armco to Mango trail and quite a few tricky caches in the area before heading out to the Oura River Community Event. Thanks for everyone who planted or maintains these caches. We had a great day!!
fitzy_1965 and I have looked forward to attending a Community Celebration event at Oura Beach for a long while. We kept in contact with the owner after it got delayed due to flooding, just so we didn't miss it as we love camping at Oura Beach.
We arrived mid-morning and set up camp then headed off for the day. Met up with albida33, nibletricecakes & GLISS! With the Armco to Mango series in our sights and others along the way, we ended up way past The Rock! Still got sidetracked on the way back and ended up being later to the event then we had hoped.
Thanks to all the CO’s along the way. All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise advised.

Found with Albida33, Minniek, Fitzy_1965 and Nibletricecakes on a daytrip to Wagga. Lots of fun caches found throughout the day and finished off with a terrific Celebration Event. Wagga has a little more yellow for me now and I'm already planning my next visit to chip away some more. Thanks for adding to my fun visit to Wagga.
On the way between our kids, trying to add some variety in the journey by touring different ways of going between the two. Great to have some caches to provide direction to our detours. Sad looking cemetery after the rains. Cache found quickly and all in good condition. Tftc

Got away from the city for a break and to do some caching. Heres hoping the weather holds.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing their caches.
Found the container in the open and broken (brittle) with log saturated. We have replaced the container with a situable one and new log in ziploc. Older container and log still on site.

Well l didn't scare a ghost, but l did scare a feral cat sleeping in the bushes. Thanks to The Farmers 5 for bringing me to this very quaint little cemetary. Cache found in good condition
A lovely little cemetery here. Lots of relatives by the looks of it. Thanks for the hide.
Another day we are still collecting a daily cache just for the hell of it today we made the trip to Milbrulong and the dead center found us a nice quick smiley for today and it was a day when you didn't want to be out to long as the heat and air quality was not the best today.
Thanks The Farmers 5 for placing this cache for us to find.
As you are no longer local, the cache container is in good condition and the log still has room for a few more finds (>40) so all is good.

My plan today was to head to Wangaratta and complete more of the Mountains to Murray rail trail, but with a ftf still up for grabs in Culcairn thought I would head in the opposite direction instead.
I love an afternoon caching by myself especially on the back roads. With the radio turned up, no kids arguing and not seeing another sole on the road (except the two ladies riding their horses)I could go wherever I liked.
I do enjoy the places that caching brings us to, and I do love a wander around a cemetery. A great well maintained area. Cache found and log signed quickly, I heard some rustling among the nearby bushes and I wasn't hanging around to see what it was.
Thanks The farmers 5 for placing the cache for us to enjoy

Found by Mary and David at 16:50. A FP even before M got out of the GeoPrado. She loves these places for the symbolism of the designs on the headstones, and the social history in the epitaphs. M could have stayed much longer, but time was against us. Able to have a quick wander around and think about all those old German names that you don't see used today. Poor Mrs Krause, whose little boy only lived hours then, the following year, another little boy who was born and died within hours too. Good to see some German language still in use today. An exquisite carved little girl with flowers stands over the grave of a 3 year old girl. Hadn't thought of the Wagga district being an attraction for German immigrants back then either. Perhaps the hedges were an attempt, during the wars, to deflect anti-German sentiments. Perhaps some of their descendants are still in the area? Our thanks to The Farmers 5.
Staying at The Rock Recreation grounds until time to head to Wagga Wagga for Stone the Crows festival. We went out on a caching run and had a successful day. Thanks to the COs for these interesting hides.
We soon found this cache once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Interesting to see a tiny grave for a 62 year old and an adult sized grave for an 11 month old. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
We spent quite some time here checking out the history, we are curious if all the empty area is really empty. SL TFTC
After a trip to Sydney during the week I was close enough to the final Carnival Souvenir to make it worth the while. I had looked at the caches at Beechworth and all the good ones had gone, so decided to head north to try and get across the line at The Rock. Had two of the geokids and the geohound, so was a bit slower than usual and plans changed after lunch once I had the souvenir. Did some maintenance on three of my caches around Culcairn, then headed to three new ones at Henty, before targeting some well-liked caches around The Rock. Once I hit 500 then picked up a couple at Tootool and then headed south west to pick up some remote caches that don't get visited too often. In the end got 18 caches and 1 DNF but a good mix, including some that made the kids laugh.
Decided at this point to head home via a few isolated caches I hadn't looked for previously. This was the first on the list, and traveled quite a few roads that I had never been down even though less than a 100kms from home. This Lutheran Church is smaller than some of the others around, but another small but full cemetery in an area that looks like has very few people still residing.

10:00 nice to finally find a cache in an area free of the horribly aggressive red-headed jumping ants. There's some very nice ceramic work here.
Was headed for wagga area from wodonga. Slight detour to this quiet spot. Well, quiet if not for the strong wind. Thanks for cache.
An overnight at The Rock stopping at the recreation grounds
After finishing the Bed-Rock series we continued to Lockhart, this was an unexpected delight we did not know about all the sculptures that have been placed here. The silo art was also a wonderful vision.
Found numerous caches types & an assortment of sizes in some great locations.

I’ve been a local for 3 years, finally visited the cemetery. Discovered family members of neighbours dating back to 1901. Interesting walk. Well hidden cache, easy find. There are some unique trinkets from previous cache explorers which is a delight to see. A big thank you to the community and individuals who continue to maintain the cemetery and church across the road.
Found at 11:29:00 AM with the Drovers. A nice easy find adding to a very enjoyable caching day.

Thanks to The Farmers 5 for placing this cache.
Roostaman mentioned a cache run, & Mr Drovers put his hand up for an invite.
So today was the day, and I tagged along with Roostaman & Fred6603 on a trip to Lockhart.
It was a nice sunny day with recent rain which made the drive through the countryside stunning.
A short detour to visit this historical cemetery.
Strolled through for a quick find at the end.
Many thanks for placing this cache, The Farmers 5, for us and others to find.

I have a day off from work, why not go caching! I decided on making my way out to Lockhart, to see what was out there and of course the caches. After a few detours to find some other caches along the way, I finally arrived at Lockhart and on my way home I did some other detours I made my way home. Today, I had 3 DNF’s and 22 finds. On some of the smaller log sheets/books I signed as 2/8/18 JM. I left at 8am and after a 380km drive I found myself at home by 6pm. TB visit on all found caches of today. I would like thank all CO’s of the caches I found today, the locations I visited and for the fun I had today. TFTC’s

TFTC. We are camped at The Rock for the weekend. This morning we decided to travel out to Lockhart to attempt some of the newer caches since our last visit several years ago. We had a good morning going out via Lockhart and returning via Yerong Creek. We successful found 11 caches and missed there caches in Lockhart. All caches were in good order. Thanks Farmers5 and babyandMrs gopher.
This was a well maintained cemetery nd the nearby church are a credit to the local community.

Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks The Farmers 5 (F=7732 H=206) for the cache.

After visiting Mittagong church we detoured towards Milbrulong and headed towards the Lutheran cemetery on route to Lockhart.
When we are out caching we often seek out the burial ground hides as they provide much interest particularly in an historical sense.
We stopped at GZ and checked out the church adjacent before heading into the cemetery.
As with the Lutheran faith there were many Germanic names listed on the stones. How influential they were in the Southern Riverina and farming cannot be denied.
After a short stroll the cache was soon found.
SL at 3.30pm. Cache all ok.
A favourite point from us. We really enjoyed the brief glimpse into the local history. TFTC The Farmers 5.

An easy find in the heat, at another old cemetery, we visited many old cemeteries on this trip.
I originally over shot this one and after a quick U turn and a short walk, the cache was soon in hand.

With Fitzy_1965 we headed off towards the Murray River near Swan hill. Lots of driving with great river banks to be explored on four rivers along the way. Day 2. After a night by the Murrumbidgee we headed west via Lockhart, Deniliquin to Moulamien where we camped on the banks of the Edwards River. This was a nice and quiet cemetery today.
Thanks.

After camping down by the river at Oura last night, we headed across through Wagga and hit the caching trail starting with this one. Some interesting headstones located in this cemetery. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, returned the cache, and headed off to the next one.
